Be at one with your music with Dubler.

You are at one with your music because you can use your voice to activate any instrument and sample of your choosing triggered by your voice. That's amazing because you have more personal involvement with your music giving it more soul. You're being more at one with the machine it becomes more of your instrument. Many musicians feel cold indifference with a computer than they would with an instrument like a guitar but with Dubler the computer becomes more of your instrument and you can impart more of yourself into it making it more soulful.

I‘ve received this little gem as a birthday present after months of fantasies about it (and fears to be deceived...) So far I am beyond satisfied and amazed by what the studio and microphone set allows me to create. It's playful joyful... I wish each and everyone to be able to discover this precious tool and I will probably share it as a gift later on!

A true visionary device!

I have been waiting a long time for something like Dubler to come around that is actually simple and intuitive to use! Having my imagination connected to my voice and then using that as an instrument in real-time allows for a level of creativity I wasn't even aware was possible. It has allowed me to finish songs I couldn't finish and inspires songs I would have never wrote in a way that is fresh and unexpected. The videos this company has put out for how to use everything at its fullest capacity is also a HUGE plus from my perspective. I am also excited to try and use this in a live setting. Great company great pioneering technology and the price is completely worth what you get. NOTE: It will take some commitment in time and practice to arrive at its full functionality

Still love using this its like my best friend i have had no problems with my mic and sound still really happy with the item and the people who work with vochlea are very helpful and lovely never had a problem thank you to you all

Absolutely Fantastic!!!

This is a dream come true for this old guitarist playing around in my home studio after retiring from live performances. Seriously a dream come true - and I have only scratched the surface of its capabilities. Highly recommend!

I can't understand what the negative reviews are about. If you watch the setup videos and follow the guidelines, it will integrate with your DAW perfectly. I have no latency issues with my setup and I find it to work exactly as advertised. Very happy with my purchase. I love using it!

Already impressive with more to come

Arrived quickly from overseas through customs without issue during the busy holiday season. Can't wait to see what the Vochlea team does next!

Update: I'm a bit surprised by some of the negative reviews here.
Google for articles at the well respected Sound On Sound and check feedback at the manufacturers page and elsewhere on the web for more data before making a purchase decision on this small sample set of comments here. I feel those that do research before purchase are less likely to be dissatisfied by their expectations and assumptions vs reality.

Excellent tool!

Very very pleased with the Dubler mic! After a few weeks I realize that not only eveything is more simple with it but this is also a huge part of my musical journey evolution I'm learning musical notes and writing with it so even if I didn't do too much research before the purchase I knew it would be a dope thing but didn't expect it to be THIS awesome. Thanks again!!

It really does what it says!! It’s quite simple to understand and use! It turns your voice into an instrument.

This is exactly what I imagined it would be and has even exceeded my expectations. I'm a music therapist and have already used this with a lot of my clients on the spectrum and will easily become an accessible music making tool in the work that I do!

I've been wanting to get back into production for a long time so I've been building up concepts in my voice memos for years while I procrastinate learning how to play the piano. Finding this software has been a game changer! I'm a pretty great vocalist and I've been having so much fun learning to use Dubler! since the microphones were sold out when i first purchased, I grabbed a $25 mic off amazon (it wasn't great and i ended up upgrading) and I've been creating nonstop! I have no more excuses to not create and no need to lease beats anymore! my artistry is back in my hands and I'm ready to share it with the world. how much better will the next iteration be?

I’ve been using Dubler 2 for quite a while now and I’m still really impressed. It’s such a unique and creative piece of software that helps me a lot as a producer. I can’t read notes, but with Dubler I can instantly turn the melodies and ideas in my head into real music using just a microphone.

I also want to highlight their customer service — even though they’re a small team, they’re super responsive, friendly, and genuinely helpful.

I’ve seen some negative reviews here and there, but honestly, I can’t relate. Maybe some people are just not using the tool correctly, because for me it works flawlessly. An absolute must-have for any producer or musician full of ideas!

This software is essential for any musician recording on their own, and saves time if you take the time to learn the software fully.

If you're doing everything yourself-writing recording mixing etc.-then you really need Dubler. It saves time from struggling with instruments you may not be totally proficient with and frees you up to use your voice (even if you're not a singer) and you don't need an expensive studio or dozens of musicians to make it happen. I never used their mic, so I can't speak to that, but any dynamic mic is fine. Nothing I've used would be considered an expensive mic (all under $100) Only your imagination is holding you back. Brilliant and well worth the modest cost.

I have has this a few weeks now and I am still having great fun with it. I have found there is a learning curve, but still great fun.
Ordering and receiving was easy and very simple and efficient.

I bought this a few years ago to turn my vocalizations into leads, alá Frank Zappa. Admittedly I am not a great vocalist pitch wise…hell, I wouldn’t even pass the audition to get into my own band…I have tried the pitch sensing, and it seems to work…I can sing I a lot of keys(!). I am frustrated at the latency. I have 128 gb of memory, so I have the power…yet there is latency. I believe it is and industry problem. I have tried most of the competition and their latency is just as frustrating as the Dubler is.
The fun for me is now sending midi commands through the dubler…I enjoy the randomness selection of the strength of the command sent to an instrument (usually a synth), and adds a surprise, for my creation. I enjoy blowing bubbles in a glass of water with a straw and using my SM58, and getting an interesting response from the dubler capture function.
Look kids…try to go beyond what these nice folks have put out for us…if you expect the hype to come to you with out any work, well it just won’t happen…
Fast runs…SLOW DOWN. Being a drummer I’ve learned if you can play slower and deliberately…your ideas will track better…
The industry has the problem. Even my DAW has a capture that has latency.
They’ll get better…
Slow down and as an awful singer I have managed to get some great results…

I have no idea what the other reviewers are talking about. Yes, you need some basic skills to set it up in a DAW if you are using that (adjust latency and so on).
But I would say that this works exactly like advertised and there are tons of pedagogic tutorials on how to use it.

With that said, I wanted to try this and realized that all these cool functions was a bit overkill for my needs at the moment. I requested a refund and literally 1 minute later I had the money back at my paypal account.

I bought Dubler 2 by Vochlea with its dynamic USB mic (full package).
First off, the mic that comes with it is absolutely useless. They claim it is already calibrated yet you will try hard to get it work properly with or without your audio interface (ASIO driver required).

If you connect it directly to your laptop (via USB or USB-C) you'll experience some latency. Sometimes Windows won’t even find it as an input device. Besides it will block your main audio output and you will have to switch back and forth to enable output for different devices or apps, for example Dubler 2 vs DAW or Browser, etc.

If you try to pair the dynamic mic with your audio interface for output, you’ll get an error. By the way, the error message will also say that they recommend using a dynamic microphone and an external audio interface. So why sell a USB mic in the first place? They won’t mention this to you in their marketing clips just to sell a junk mic to you.

You’ll need to buy a dynamic mic such as Shure SM58SE with XLR connection to your audio interface, calibrate it and you’re ready to go.
