Great for Scaling Our Business

We've been using Voicent for about a year, and it has help us grow our call center significantly. The scalability is great and we love the automated features that save us tons of time. Only down side is that the initial set up was a bit tricky, but their support team helped us through it.

Hi Jason, we are not sure what information we provide is not accurate. Product usage and pricing info are all available on our website and there is a 30 day free trial for testing the platform. Also, since you just signed up and canceled within a day, we have issued the full refund.

Got a robo-call today

Got a robo-call today, just mentioning the url to their site with the request to visit it, which obviously, I won't.
I do not know this company and detest calls like this one.

For Voicent: the number I was dialed from is 00321222766432

We understand that unwanted phone calls are annoying. However, like Gmail, a dialer is just a software tool. It is essential for work and life but can also be misused. For example, nowadays, almost all appointment reminder calls from hospitals and doctor offices are sent by robocall dialers. So do city-wide emergency natural disaster alerts, school cancellation notifications due to bad weather, get-out-to-vote phone calls, and many more.

Spam calls at midnight!

I have been receiving spam calls from Voicent, even at midnight! I find it unacceptable.

I am editing as I don't know how to reply to Voicent's reply. I actually called back one of the times and spoke to the person who confirmed it was Voicent calling from Birmingham. So, it is Voicent who is doing the calls. I don't even live in the UK, so I would appreciate they stopped calling (both my cell and home number).

This is an updated reply. The original reply is below the dashed line

Voicent is a US based software company and we do not have employees working in UK. Again, we do not make these calls.

The best way to stop these calls is to contact your local phone company or police. They can trace the actual caller and even file charges.

----------------------------------------
Voicent is a software product development company and call center cloud service provider. We do not make phone calls to any one. Our automated dialing software (the trial version), however, can be downloaded freely and used by anyone who wishes to make automated phone calls.

The free trial software contains a few sample audio files. These test files are included to make it easy for prospects to test the software. In some really old versions (about ten years ago), there is a sample audio file mentions visiting voicent.com. This sample file has long been removed from our software. It seems someone is using a trial software downloaded years ago to call you.

We actually do not know who downloaded the software, which phone service they use to call you. It is just like someone downloaded Microsoft Word and use it to write a nasty letter to someone. Microsoft has no control once the software is in the customer's computer.

If you wish to trace the caller, please contact your phone company or local authorities. Provide the caller ID and time of call so they can find the actual person that called.

We do not make phone calls like these to anyone. Our trial software, however, can be downloaded freely and used by anyone who wishes to test our software. The trial software contains a Voicent test message that you hear. (actually, years ago we changed the software such that the test message does not mention Voicent at all) If you wish to trace the caller, please contact your phone company or local authorities. Again, we do not make these calls.

Robo-called at 22:30

Robo-called at 22:30 - why does the company think that this is a good thing? Why would this make me want to use their services? Correct, it wouldn't.

@Voicent, I've just read the responses that you wrote to others but that's not an excuse, the fact is that a robo-caller is mentioning your company's name and it's making your company look bad. Telephone companies cannot or will not trace calls, which sucks but it's a fact.

You need to deal with this because it's your name that is being used, comparing this to writing a rude letter with MS Word does not work because that letter wouldn't have Microsoft stamped all over it. This call mentions your company specifically, that makes it your problem.

This rating remains at one star.

We would like to deal with it if there is a way. It is unfortunate that there are a few people misuse our products this way. This trial software, which was released years ago, is already installed on their computers. We have no way to retrieve it and disable it. (The same way Microsoft won't be able to remove an installed program on your computer) If there is a way, we would very much like to know.

BTW, the reason we know it was a really old version is that we have changed the test audio message years back.

Recd marketing call at 1:30 AM

Phone rang at 1:30 in the morning. Family emergency? Someone dead? Nope! A cheerful recorded message to say "For more details visit voicent.com!" Then helpfully spelling out the website. W T F. Seriously? If I ever had need for your software I would never buy it.

We do not make these phone calls, period.

Many years ago (more than 10 years), we released a shareware/trial version of our software that contains this message. The purpose is for our customers to test the software before purchase.

To see who actually called you, please check with your phone company. They can do a trace on the call and find out the person that makes these calls.

Spam Caller

I have been receiving unsolicited, spam nuisance calls from this company over the last couple of days. There is a recorded message directing you towards voicent.com.

This is clearly an illegal practice so I would never trust them enough to use their services.
