Hey, Sorry to hear that however it seems you have not opened the other side. That is just the brush side however there is a lid on the other end which has the pencil side underneath. Use this for filling and then the brush for blending. Please feel free to contact us for more support. Regards

I have received a different product than the one ordered. I had ordered a brush to trim (draw) beard and I received a very trivial rimmel brush even of poor quality!

Sorry to hear you had trouble with understanding our product however you will notice our product is double sided. One end is the brush you mentioned and on the other-side, under the lid , is the pencil to draw the beard as you described. Hope this helped, if not feel free to reach out to our support team :)
