Very disappointing
Very disappointing. Had Volcano coffee at WeWork and it was really good. Bought their coffee pods and they are utterly tasteless and weak, even when used as a ristretto. Avoid.

Volcano coffee is superb
Volcano coffee is superb. I use to get my beans from the Algerian coffee shop in Soho, London which I found to be amazing but I've switched to Volcano now. Simply stunning tastes and blends. Everytime I taste it my eyes light up but conversely if I drink any other coffees they don't live up to this standard so try at your own risk. 😁

Brilliant coffee and good service
Brilliant coffee and good service! The coffee is obviously freshly roasted. We use an espresso machine and there is always plenty of crema. We have tried two different coffee beans, and both were good. Being able to choose the beans with good environmental impact is also important.

Currently making espresso using the The Mount Blend beans - very enjoyable, easy-drinking, coffee. No issues with delivery. Very recent roast date. Reasonable price.

The best DeCafe I have found
For the past year, I have had a subscription for the DeCafe beans. For the taste of a good coffee in the afternoon that is not going to disrupt my sleep this is my goto.
I have tried several brands and for DeCafe this is my favourite.

Compostable Pods did not work with…
Compostable Pods did not work with nespresso machine
Tried with L'or machine which is in theory nespresso compatible.
Then bought a Grind machine and I am still ahving the same issue.
I am losing 1 pod out of 2!

Hi Jason, I'm sorry to hear you're having some issues with our pods. I would recommend you give the pods a good shake before inserting them into the machine and purge water through the machine in between each pod, it helps heat up the machine and get it ready for your pod. If it's not piercing well try and push down hard after you've put the pod in. The compostable material that we use might have a bit thicker film than the other pods you have tried. If none of these work please do send us a message on orders@volcanocoffeeworks.com and we'll sort something for you. Would also love to know which Nespresso machine you do have so we can log this. Speak soon!
