I accidentally paid twice for a yearly subscription due to a technical issue on VBTV’s side: my active subscription suddenly appeared inactive due to system issues, and the system allowed me to purchase a second one. I was logged into my normal account and paid from my personal bank account (iDeal).

After reaching out for help, support told me they couldn’t refund me because the second payment was “linked to another email address”; one I’ve never heard of. Even though I was logged into my own account and the second subscription was visible for a few hours (before they quickly deleted/cancelled it without my consent), they refuse to take responsibility.

I've been trying to get refunded for weeks now. Their reply-rate is terrible, and it happened more than once that they just didn't reply at all anymore, and I had to check for updates or even start a new thread.

After constantly receiving the same empty apologies and 0 solutions, I even proposed a compromise: if they really can't refund me (which I dispute because I don't believe my payment is matched with a different email address than my own), they could at least extend my current subscription by one year; giving me what I paid for. But they didn’t even consider it. All I have received is endless apologies without any meaning, and the same copy-paste response blaming “system limitations.”

They keep pointing to my bank, but because I paid with iDeal chances are slim to none that I will ever see this money again. So, in the end, it's free money for this company.

I paid €59.99 for nothing, and VBTV earned some easy money.

I have been watching VBTV for many years now, and normally recommend it to all volleyball lovers around me, but unfortunately, the stories I'l tell, will be completely different from now on.

Streaming doesn’t works. Match’s are available long time after ended. No answer from support. Services are very expensive as well.

I paid €59.99 for a VBTV subscription through their website, but I was never prompted to log in or create an account during checkout.

After the payment, I created an account using my Google email, expecting the subscription to be linked. But it wasn’t. I contacted support and they claimed the payment was linked to a random masked email I don’t recognize, and told me to contact my bank.

My bank confirmed this is not fraud (the payment was authorized), and now I’m left with no access to the service and no refund.

The support has been unresponsive for over 3 weeks.

Their platform is clearly flawed: it allows anonymous payments that are impossible to link to an account.

I’ve lost €60 for nothing. This is not acceptable from a global streaming service. Avoid until they fix their system and take responsibility.

Update on my situation: Paid for a subscription on June 15th. Finally got access to my one-month premium plan on July 12th. Thank you Veronica from the customer support of VBTV. You were very helpful and understanding unlike the employee that dealt with my case at first.

Wouldn't let me access an important game I wanted to watch live. They claim that you can watch the matches anytime anywhere on demand, which is exactly why I paid for a premium subscription. So imagine my dissatisfaction when I'm waiting for the live stream to start so I can support my team and it doesn't work. Blatant scam. I pay to watch games live and it doesn't work.

According to Volleyball World, their app should work on any Android Google certified device, this is not true! It does not work on Chromecast with Google TV. When troubleshooting with their support team their employees admitted as much. However, even though my consumer rights say I can get reimbursed within 14 days (and longer in case the service doesn't work as advertised), the company does not respond to such a request. The last few weeks they have ghosted me despite me trying to get into contact multiple times.

I do not recommend this site right now
The site was okay the last time I used it, like in May or so. After the update, it has lost some functions.
- Continue Watching is gone.
- The tab where you could see the videos you were watching or had watched is gone, too.
- Skipping part of the videos for 5-10 seconds or so is gone, too.
Now you need to watch the entire video and can´t rewatch a play by going back and forward with the arrow buttons. The worst part is that after you pay for a subscription, you will not get refunded if you decide to cancel it. I do not recommend this site at all. Do not waste your money on it, not until they fix those things.

My subscription was renewed without sending me a reminder. They will NOT refund my money. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE, they are not honest people.

Awful streaming services and support.

Platform is not usable due to technical issues, many features are not working and latest matches are not even streamed on the platform.

I signed up for a subscription a year ago for $36. One year later when my subscription was being renewed, I received no communication from VBTV that it was time for my renewal. I was not given the option to cancel my renewal, nor was I told that the renewal amount was now $59.99. On top of all that, they withdrew the funds from my checking account thru PayPal without my authorization. After contacting their customer service (on the exact day I received the email about being charged for the renewal) they refused to refund me.

Avoid Volleyball TV! Misleading advertising and terrible support.
Volleyball TV falsely advertises ALL games on their site as having English commentary. This is a complete LIE. The Polish league games I tried watching had NO commentary whatsoever.
Even worse, their support team is completely dishonest and utterly unhelpful. They just give you the runaround and don't actually solve anything.
Seriously, save your money and avoid this garbage. Don't fall for their misleading claims. #VolleyballTV #BadService #FalseAdvertising #DoNotBuy

Developers seem to be stuck in 2010.

So many bugs, from sign in, to TV stream, to viewers history....

Volleyball World aka VBTV kept stealing money from my bank account, 5 times after I cancelled my service with them. They offered false promises and offered no reimbursement for money that they stole. I will never use their service again. ps I had to cancel my bank account so ensure no more money is stolen.

They are a very dishonest Company!

90% of the times it does not work on my smart TV. After scanning the QR code does not logs in.
I had to reinstall the app several times.
When it works the definition is much lower than expected.
It works good on smartphone but you cannot enjoy a volleyball match on a 5 inches screen.
If nothing changes I will not renew my subscription

They made a mistake with my order, they send me the wrong item. They did fix it but I had to pay extra for returning the wrong item and importing the correct one. They promised me if I send them the receipts, they would reimburse me. They still haven't paid me back, this is over 4 months ago. Now they are not answering my messages anymore.

I ordered the Olympic beach volleyball. It was 137 Euro. I never got it and I have been trying to speak to someone or get any information for already three month. Neither customer service nor PayPal could help me so the money is gone and my friend didn’t get the present. Very disappointing

Damn, where do I start.
The site was okay (at best) a year ago. Since the, with their latest website we have lost the following features.
Continue Watching, before the site would remember where you left off watching and show you in a similar way to youtube how much you had watched, it also kept a tab for videos you'd watched but hadn't finished, all these convivences no longer exist.
Being Able To Skip Forward Or Back By 5 seconds, you know how every single video viewing program out there allows you skip forward or back by hitting the arrow keys? GONE.
Making Me Only Log In Once, whereas before I would get logged out half way through a match, now I have to log on 3 times before I'm able to view anything. Honestly this company is a joke.

The system is not working properly; during the payment process, it charged me for a plan I did not choose. I received zero support, just standard responses on a weekly basis, with no interest in or help with resolving the issue.

When starting the App, a black screen appears. I deleted the cache, but the problem persists.
So no casting via Chromecast is possible.
Only via web browser views are possible, without the possibility to cast to the TV.

I requested multiple time to cancel my subscritpion and I'm still receiving deduction on my credit card. Verty bad customer service.
