Part order received

Item not received

I got an email on the 17th of February stating my order had been despatched and would take 2 days arrive. 3 weeks later, I am still waiting for it to arrive. Emailed the company and have received no response.

Lack of courtesy

I wrote this letter a couple of weeks ago and have had no response to date:

Dear Sir

As discussed with you sales department please forward to your Director.

I am writing to complain about the level of service that I have received and your company's breach of contract.

1. The order was placed on 20/2/17
2. Acknowledgement received 22/2/17 advising of full delivery within 2 working days
3. I telephoned your Customer Services Department on 24/2/17 querying non delivery. I had to phone twice and eventually some 2.5 hrs later received a text from DPD advising that delivery would be on 27/2/17.
4. I telephoned Customer Services again to complain and was I advised that the order was not dispatched as you were awaiting some clips.

I was expecting the order within 2 days of ordering, when I received your confirmation on 24/2/17 I wasn't too bothered as I was completing the work on 25/2/17. If you did not have the clips in the main order, it should have been dispatched and a second order with the clips should have followed separately. It looks like your staff have messed up with dispatching this order and sending out email confirmations which are inaccurate.

All I was offered was a cancellation of the order and a refund - how generous!

I am expecting compensation for your breach of contract and the appalling customer service that I have received. I didn't even receive an apology.

When I have dealt in the past, with Extractor Fan World, their deliveries were with me the day after I placed the order.

Really Slow Delivery

Unfortunate that the delivery was so slow as the price for the extractor fan I ordered was good. Lucky I didn't need it in a rush, probably would have cancelled the order otherwise!

1ST PURCHASE

Products all good as expected price competitive. I ordered due to delivery policy of notification and ability to arrange yo suitable date. In fact a week after ordering i called to find out when items would be delivered
I was advised of the date as Friday 10th.
Items never arrived after i tool the day off to be at home. Items were i am advised by neighbours were delivered on Friday17th a full week later and nearly 2 weeks after ordering. My parcel was left unsigned for and was damp from the rain. At least i received it.

Lack of communication

Ordered online, after chasing order discovered they were waiting for parts to come in but no notification of this to me, would also call me back that day with update, no returned call, cancelled order in the end, poor communication let them down.

Poor on accuracy, timescales and communication.

Delivery 1 week later than expected, no communication without chasing them twice and when delivery did eventually arrive it was short on quantity and those they did ship were the wrong model and not matching their own order confirmation. My electrician has now had to be rescheduled twice because of Volt Electrical. Still ongoing but hopefully their correction of the issues will not be as frustrating as the last 2 weeks.
