Terrible company to deal with

Terrible company to deal with. Shipping takes forever, and they don’t like to respond to emails. I received an email that a backpack that I wanted was back in stock. Ordered the backpack, got purchases verification, got a shipping notification, credit card was charged, and waited. After a week went by, no shipping updates. Sent a email asking for information and was told that the item was out of stock. It’s frustrating that they don’t have better stock quantity information. Changed my order and it’s been a week now and still waiting for updates. Very frustrating.

Is this an overpriced Knockoff?

My purse was delivered on time. My only complaint is the quality. I was expecting so much better, I'm not even sure if this is really Von Dutch to be honest. Hmm is this website authentic? The quality of my purse is no better than a swap meet knockoff. (I purchased the crossbody mini bag @ $99.00)

Von Dutch sent my hay to the wrong…

Von Dutch sent my hay to the wrong address (my old address from over 10 years ago as a default address) and I tried to stop the delivery before, during and after the delivery and Von Dutch will do nothing. No new hat, no attempt to make me whole or satisfied. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT ORDER FROM VON DUTCH. They only care about money.

ZERO STARS

ZERO STARS! This company is genuinely scamming people by charging their card at checkout then creating a shipping label with an expected delivery date, they then disappear and never send anything. I’ve left multiple comments on their Instagram posts that have been deleted multiple times, along with trying to get in touch customer service but no luck. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE.

I was NOT happy when ordering. CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!

I was happy when ordering.. when I received my package 1 of the 4 mechanics shirt did not have the Von Dutch patch. The company would not send my replacement until they received the shirt back. This already took 3 weeks to get. The shipping back was the slowest method. USPS ground. So now, I won't receive my shirt for over a months. This is terrible customer service. They will not compensate me for their mistake. Im also required to take time out of my day to package and return the shirt. Will not be ordering from them again. Usually when a company makes a mistake, they make it right with the customer. I was told there was nothing they could do. Such a time suck a drain to get what I ordered. Very unsatisfied.

Shipping Nightmare

Well, ordered 150 of merch. Von Dutch created a UPS shipping label on the 9th. Here it is the 18th and no movement. Talking to service (Cheri) is completely useless. She thought it was delivered because I have any UPS order going to my local UPS site instead of my home directly. They saw that update after the label was created and thought it was delivered in 4 hours. Does not even know how to analyze tracking scans.

I Explained to them that they are more than likely just printing lables to show progress in the order then waiting to ship the product. UPS then automatically updates the ship to based on my preferences and it was not delivered in 4 hours.

Next up is Aly, she claims that UPS has delays in scanning and she will monitor the progress. We damn well know you have yet to give the package to UPS. They scan Packages 1 by 1 right away on pickup from a shipper and update the tracking automatically. This company thinks its customers do not know how shipping works here in the year 2026.

Will never do business with Von Dutch and just initiating a chargeback with my bank.

Worst company ever.

It is now 3/21 and Aly is claiming the same as Cheri that my package is at an access point. These reps do not understand how to read tracking information. The package has yet to leave at all and Von Dutch as 150 bucks for free. Stay way the heck away from this company.

*1-Star Review: Extremely Disappointing Experience – Avoid This Company**

I placed an order on Sunday, March 8th, and paid $70 for next-day air shipping to ensure fast delivery. The package didn't even leave their facility until **four days later**. Then, on the day it was supposed to arrive, they suddenly claimed the item was out of stock—despite it being clearly listed as in stock when I checked out and completed the purchase.

When I contacted support to express my frustration and request a refund on the expedited shipping fee (since the service wasn't provided as advertised), they responded that orders generally take 1-6 days to process and that "next day air" isn't truly guaranteed or as marketed. This feels like false advertising.

I've followed up multiple times over email, but they've provided no real response or resolution. The package is now scheduled to arrive in about 8 days total, turning what should have been a quick 1-3 day delivery into two weeks+

This level of service is completely unacceptable. Paying a premium $70 for expedited shipping only to experience massive delays, stock issues after payment, and zero accountability shows a total lack of respect for customers' time and money. It's reasonable to expect a full refund on that shipping fee when promises aren't fulfilled.

Customer service, particularly "Aly" from support, has been extremely unprofessional—ignoring my concerns, failing to acknowledge my dissatisfaction, and offering no meaningful help.

**Bottom line: Do NOT order from Von Dutch.** Terrible logistics, misleading shipping options, poor communication, and a clear focus on taking money over actually satisfying customers. Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere.

DISCRIMINATION AGAINST PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

Their 20 something year old on Tiktok are extremely rude even the customer service complaint center is extremely rude. They were even more rude to someone who has disabilities. I will never purchase something from this company. They push products on you and when there's an issue with the order they say too bad we dont offer refunds.

Scammed out of $70 next day shipping cost

I completely regret shopping with von dutch for how they have handled my transaction as well as seeing how they have scammed others out of their money. I ordered a bag for my wife on February 17th and paid $70 to overnight it so I could surprise her. Here we are 3 days later and not only have I not received the bag, but the shipping process has only JUST started. It is currently Feb 20th and the bag is still in Long Beach, CA and has to come to Detroit. At the very BEST, I might receive the bag at the 4 day mark, but after paying $70 in shipping, I have been scammed out of my money. I will never shop at von dutch again. It is insane to me that they have such poor customer service/logistics considering how much of a comeback the brand has made recently. This is business ethics 101 and they are failing miserably. BEWARE when shopping with them and DO NOT pay for expedited shipping.

Garage merch

Quality, a joke! Walmart would be better. Price, outlandish for the quality! $250 for a matching set of legging and zip-up. Don’t waste your money, you can buy great quality such a Lulu or Vuori for the same price or lower. AND if you decide it’s crap once you receive, they charge a “restocking fee” and only issue merch credits. They don’t even want their sub-standard crap back.

Stay Away from Von Dutch

I placed an order for two purses on November 2, 2025, in the hopes of receiving in time for Christmas. That did not happen, as I was informed on December 17 that the carrier reported the items damaged. I contacted Von Dutch via email to see if I could still get my order fulfilled. I was informed one of the purses was discontinued, and as a result, they would not be able to fulfill my order at all. Unfortunately, they have had my full payment since November 2, and I have yet to receive a refund. I have contacted them multiple times and I was told at one point that it was my job to contact the carrier. Which is not my responsibility as a paying customer. I have no clue if I will ever receive my $300 refund from Von Dutch. The communication with their customer service has disappeared on their end. I wish I had checked the reviews for this company before I placed my order. I would stay far away from this company as they clearly do not stand behind their "customer service". They have my $300, I have nothing.

I ordered a the Black & White Cow Print…

I ordered a the Black & White Cow Print Vegan Pony Hair Vegan Bag, on January 13th. I paid $60 for next day air because I needed the bag for Saturday the 16th. I was shipped the wrong bag and had to find a replacement to go with my outfit. I contacted Von Dutch on the 15th and received an automatic generated response. I stated that I would like my $60 shipping fee refunded and the cost of the bag refunded. I was told that shipping fees are non refundable. I asked could my concerns be escalated to a supervisor, due to the fact that I’m not at fault. I was ignored and received another email telling me to return the bag for a refund. No mention of my express payment for shipping. I’m extremely upset because I spent extra money to get the bag on time. Extremely upset because my concerns are not being reviewed by a supervisor!

I ordered a Large Bowling Bag purse…

I ordered a Large Bowling Bag purse from them twice. Both times they sent the wrong purse. The first time they sent the wrong item, I reached out and they never responded. I found a phone number for them, and was finally able to contact someone via text, because they did not answer the phone. The told me to send the wrong purse back, and once they received that purse, they would overnight me the correct purse. Well they received the wrong purse back, but failed to send me the correct purse back. Instead they gave a refund. So they lied, about sending the correct purse i ordered via overnight delivery. So I ordered the purse again, do you know they sent the wrong purse AGAIN! Customer did not respond back, so I notified the BBB and my bank. Do you know, they then responded back asking me to send the purse back and contact my bank and reverse the complaint and they will send my refund. Talking about Crazy, these people are unbelievable and don’t deserve to be in Business. I in courage anyone with issues, to contact the Better Business Bureau!
So I have ordered the purse twice, and still do not have it. Instead of this company doing the right thing and just sending the item you ordered and paid for, they behave like kids and Escalate the situation. Can’t believe they’re still in Business. DO NOT BUY FROM VON DUTCH! Terrible customer service!!! They seem very Incompetent! I mean send the wrong item Twice, then act like it’s the customer fault. No Accountability! They don’t deserve your hard earned money. I spoke with Shannon Bradley, who said the purse would be sent via overnight, once they received the purse I returned. Shannon lied, they never sent me the correct purse. Unbelievable!

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. The purse ordered was too small even for a child. It was completely useless and was nearly $100. When I asked to exchange it I was told no because, despite it being a Christmas present, it was received 7 days prior. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!! Poor quality and terrible customer service.
