Ordered an ev charger at Christmas, it arrived with a cracked outer casing. Contacted Vorsprung regards this issue. After about a fortnight of back and forth emails where they asked me pretty pointless questions and eventually asked for photographs of the cracks, they agreed to send a new cover, but stated they had none in stock at that time. We are now in April and i’m still waiting for that cover!

I have had the Vorsprung Alpha Max installed about 6 weeks ago. It has been an absolute waste of time and money since. It does not work, does not connect to Monta, does not work offline with RFiD card. I have sent numerous emails, phoned the helpline 16 times and still have got nowhere with it. All I want to do now, is remove it and send it back for a refund. I will take a hit on the installation and removal costs. Just let me move on and get a better one installed. DO NOT BUY. This company has all the hallmarks of going bankrupt very soon and no warranty for anyone.

I bought this charger directly from the company because it offered a 5 year warranty. The instructions in the manual do not work and they have not answered the phone over several days. I have no confidence that the warranty will be honoured.

We had some issues configuring our WiFi Connection and App Setup. One call to the Vorsprung Helpdesk then numerous screen-shots using WhatsApp had us Up & running! Fabulous! Other Tech companies should take note!

Great customer service to support with connection of charger - I recommend.

After switching broadband providers, I was struggling to get the charger connected. After a short relay of messages, one of the members of the tech team called me and walked me through changing the network configuration - back online within minutes - great service

Excellent customer support via what's app, they talked me through the connection to our wi-fi, the device seems to be a good product and simple to install. We replaced our comondo socket with this EV charger which works with the Monta app, this enables us to schedule our charge to our time of use tariff.
Hope this is helpful to others looking for a simple to use EV charger, which can be used as a smart or dumb charger.

I regret purchasing the Vorsprung EV charger. While the product initially seemed promising, the overall experience has been extremely frustrating.
After encountering issues with the charger, I reached out to their support team multiple times via email—no response. It's unacceptable for a company selling electrical equipment to ignore customer concerns, especially when safety and functionality are involved.
The lack of communication and support is appalling. Many others have reported similar experiences: lost deliveries, warranty refusals, and misleading product descriptions. In my case, the charger never arrived, yet they took full payment and never followed up despite repeated attempts to contact them.
Their customer service is non-existent, and the company appears to avoid accountability. Based on my experience and the many negative reviews online, I do not recommend Vorsprung to anyone looking for a reliable EV charging solution.
Save yourself the hassle—look elsewhere

Vorsprung Ev cable stopped working after 18 months. When I made contact to see how they could help I was just told it was out of warranty and they suggested I contacted an electrician which I did but they couldn’t fix it.
I would not purchase anything from them again and highly recommend you do not either.

Just been chatting to technical re a few questions I had before I ordered. Very efficient very knowledgeable very helpful answered all my questions via their chat page within a couple of minutes great service thank you guys.

Ordered wrong EV charger. Phoned, no problem. Bought correct item.
Returned original item by recorded delivery costing £20.
Have had to ring daily for weeks to get refund of £189.
Eventually got refund after contacting credit card company.
By all means buy from here but be prepared to beg if you need a refund for any reason

Had car cover from here that was missing part's. Did put a review on here and had phone calls from company have to say really nice person phone me and sent replacement cover that was spot on and fit's really good. Thank you so much yes I would recommend this company.

Why go to store when you can go to company direct.

My old charger (can't remember the make) died on me for the second time so I decided to replace it and I'm glad I did - the Vorsprung Dark Knight tethered charger is brilliant! Clear documentation with easy to follow instructions and my Electrician was able to remove the earth spike I had to have with the old unit - so the installation looks good too!
