Underwhelmed

I ordered a box of 16 pieces for my mother for her birthday/Valentines day. She said the packaging was incredibly elaborate and it took her a while to get into it. At last when she got there, the final box holding the chocolates was about 4x4 inches. She said the chocolates were mediocre in taste and below average in size. They had a few colored sprinkles on them. She told me thank you for the kind thought but don’t waste my money again on something like this.

Unprofessional

Ordering from Vosges was a mistake.
The shipment didn’t arrive on the date they had asked us to select, and we had to download an app just to track it.
After several days without a response to my email, they finally replied, saying that two items were delayed and that they must have “forgotten” to notify us. They promised overnight shipping and a partial refund for the missing items.

Neither happened.

Four days later, they sent an email offering free shipping on my next order as compensation—except their standard coupon codes provided a better discount. When I (politely) asked to cancel the order, they ignored my request.

A week later, after I had already opened a dispute with my credit card company, they finally sent a generic cancellation email, yet stated they still hadn’t issued a refund.

This was an unprofessional and frustrating experience. I do not recommend Vosges.

Egocentric madness.

So we ordered from this chocolatier hoping for some good alternative truffles and specialty selections. Well uh... yeah. While their truffles may be good at a round table of chefs, who are interesting in indulging in the ego centric perspective these chocolates are mad (not a typo) with. But this not for the normal chocolate lover who is looking for an emergence into pallet popping euphoria. And yes... my wife is a chef. I've seen this countless times in 30 years. You know that situation in which the supposed genius who can find this in Tanzania and that in Madacascar, thought it sounded cool right next to a revolting cup of rose hip tea. And then dressed it up in chocolate and hoped the eccleticism would magically transform into good taste? nah. We handed out 200.00 worth of their chololates as a teaser before we brought out the staple... Godiva.
