I have made over a dozen calls
I have made over a dozen calls. Voya canceled my insurance over $1.77-even though I have auto draft. I started calling (almost weekly) in January and it is now April. I have the coverage yet they aren't charging me for it. As an employer, why would you want this company to manage your benefit billing
I will NEVER recommend this company or…
I will NEVER recommend this company or use them. I was automatically enrolled in the 401k retirement contribution even though I did not authorize this or receive any mail corresponding to this change. I only found out after my paycheck was shorter than before, and this is when I immediately called the VOYA financials number. The representative then walked me through that I couldn't remove myself but that I could change the contribution to 0% which was completed. The representative then notified me that I would be refunded the amount within 5-7 business days, which is not a problem I waited patiently I even waited an additional week for my refund, and to no avail. I called in A MONTH since they had removed the funds and low and behold the representative didn't input a document that was required to issue the refund check. Once she explained this to me I was then notified I would not be receiving the full amount that was taken from my check due to the change in the market. This is not my responsibility to confirm if a form was/wasn't submitted in its entirety yet getting penalized for someone's mistake. I requested to speak with a manager and then I was able to speak with Arthur who provided me with his direct line, he reassured me he would look into it and call me back. I gave him time and called for a follow-up today, when I went to call for an update the phone rang and then went busy I also confirmed with Arthur the number twice. I called the regular number where I spoke with Clarence which was not helpful whatsoever with the situation even when I told him the number was dial tone and that it must have not been a real number he shrugged it off. Clarence couldn't even transfer me to his extension which they did previously. This has been a HORRIBLE ordeal with Voya and I am not the only one, my sister is dealing with a nightmare switching over her funds from Voya to her employment 401K and they have given nothing but problems.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR…
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH YOUR MONEY. They will deny your claim/ reason for use/withdrawal and their challenge process is a joke. I essentially have a large sum of money stuck in a medical account that is now unusable. We tried to use it on visits to our pediatrician for our children and were denied. Don't risk using them for anything.
Simply awful
Simply awful. Is this company in business to collect money from your paycheck, make it impossible to use, so that is ultimately goes back to your employer? I lost thousands in my commuter expenses when I was downsized from full-time to contract. No way to recover. And -- for my FSA -- I go to pay my doctor's co-pay and the Voya Bank FSA MasterCard is NEVER accepted at in-network hospitals: NYU, Weill Cornell, etc. You have to pay with your own money, file a ton of paperwork and wait for a paper check to be mailed, if you do the paperwork correctly. Did I mention the customer service phones are answered overseas?
How can a company that handles…
How can a company that handles something as important as your 401k be so difficult to deal with? They turn getting a hardship withdrawal into an entire ordeal that’s a headache to navigate, and God forbid if you change addresses because you can’t edit that directly on your profile. No, you have to go through your company’s HR department to make that happen. And then, even when you explain in plain detail that you need the money YOU EARNED to avoid an eviction, they tell you there’s nothing they can do despite having access to ample documentation proving you’re not trying to “scam” the company out of giving you YOUR money! It’s MY money! I earned that! Why are you giving me the rigamarole for money I earned?
If you’re wondering why there’s so many one-star reviews for this utterly worthless company, it’s because it’s a pile of bodies that could have avoided terrible situations if this company gave a shit about making anything vaguely user-friendly.
Most inept firm I have ever dealt with
I depend on this company for my Deferred Compensation fund payments. Their website is totally infantile and difficult to navigate. Nobody ever, ever answers their contact phone number. Last year, they send me twelve (12!!) 1099 forms for tax purposes--one for each month!. And this year, the 1099-R for 2024 posted online is missing the first three months of 2024. I have spent the last two monnths trying to resolve this, to no avail. These people ate complete clowns. And i'm being polite.
Absolutely unethical business…
Absolutely unethical business practices. Dirty tactics used to screw people out of claims. Arrogant agents that will try to threaten your job security when called out. Disgusting company, stay far, far away.

Hold your retirement hostage with no ability to transfer funds. Terrible service
Voya is terrible
Voya is terrible. Cannot set up your account through their app must use a browser. Use the browser now pin has expired and need to send new pin. this has been going on for 2 months and every time it is a different excuse why i can’t access my account. These people are theives.
Horrible customer service
Horrible customer service. Stay far away from this company if you can. Rude and arrogant agents
Worst company to deal with
Worst company to deal with. I have interacted with them over 2 different matters over the past 2 years. One to setup a monthly distribution. This took me 2 months any multiple calls with them say I've never talked to them.
Now I'm trying to change my with holding and I'm going down the same rabbit hole with them saying they will notify me about status and I never hear from them. I'm on my third call now and they are impossible to deal with.
Slow Distributions, where is my money?
Voya withdraws my monthly distribution from account on the last day of the month, but it is not transferred to my checking account until the 5th of the following month. Where is my money? Voya is sitting on it and earning interest for almost a week at my expense.
Requested to cash out of my 401K
Requested to cash out of my 401K, Voya required that a PIN be mailed to me. Waited about 2 weeks and received no PIN through the mail. Inadvertantly requested a PIN be sent via email but they have my previous employers email, this request canceled the first request so had to start the process over entirely. So far, I have waited about 2 months and received no service to allow me to cash out of my 401K. I believe Voya's response is criminal and am considering hiring an attorney or filing a complaint with the BBB.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. First off, I could not download my statement for over a month because their website was down for downloading statements and downloads section. Called about it, gaslit. Then asked if they can email it to me. They can't. So I ask ok what do we do then???? They said we can mail it out to me would tale 7 days. Fine, whatever sure. It's been OVER a month and nothing. Tried calling back mid month and they said they would mail it out to me once again. It never came. Voya has no idea what they are doing and their customer service has no clue what they are doing. No wonder the reviews are laughable and 1.4 stars are given to this god awful company.
Why did I get my HSA through them
Why did I get my HSA through this company if I knew their customer service was going to be this bad? Why do I have to wait for someone to call me to get my matter resolved when I have been dealing with it since December?
DO NOT INVEST HERE!!!!!
i had a savings account set up through work. The owner of the company sold to someone else and that program stopped. took me years to have them catagorize me as 100% vested (i was a 28 year employee). Then i wanted to rollover my account to another. That was like pulling teeth. The owner filled out all the necessary documents. i had 3461.00 to be rolled over. It never got done. Value is now 3058.00. Their inaction has cost me 400.00 that i will never see. DO NOT INVEST at Voya. your money becomes theirs and they will make it impossible to get it out.
Terrible website and phone…
Terrible website and phone representatives that can't answer a question without putting you on hold for 5 minutes.
