Our trip to Japan with Voyaah travels which is also called Trip stories private limited

We had travelled from Mumbai with
Voyaah tours (
Address-C Wing, Trade World, Kamala Mills Compound, 603/604, 6th floor, Senapati Bapat Marg, beside The Bar Stock Exchange, Lower Parel, Mumbai, Maharashtra 400013) on 25th March 2026.
We were 4 solo women travelling with 14 other senior citizens to Japan and we had booked separately from the other group after approving the itinerary provided to us.We have always stressed on the point that the itinerary should be completed and we have a good trip.
1) The itinerary was altered and compromised according to the Voyaah agencies convenience and we were not consulted regarding this.
2) The first day it rained a bit and the Voyaah team didn't complete the itinerary. It was not such a bad situation that itinerary had to be altered. They promised us that they will manage to fit it in the other days when we are in Tokyo which they couldn't and hence we missed out on the sight seeing at many places and also a cruise.
3) The itinerary they provided to complete the sight seeing on the last day of Tokyo was such that everyone including them knew that was not possible.
4) We had booked 4-5 star category tour. The food provided on the first day was like canteen food which was upgraded only after we protested.
5) Lots of time was wasted in finding a restaurant and also in the restaurant for ordering food and waiting for it .They could have fixed with a restaurant well in advance to save time. (The lunch and dinner promised to us was buffet which happened only twice. With buffet we could have saved a lot of time) Also they promised us different restaurants every day but we were taken to the same restaurants and when some people protested they changed the restaurants.
6) The time schedule for travelling the next day was given at random times sometimes as late after 12Am . When most of the guests were tired have already gone to sleep. They would wake up early in the morning to find that we had to leave as late as 10.30am
7) The twin bed meant for solo ladies were provided to couples and double bed meant for couple were provided to solo women travellers in a standard room because of which we were not comfortable sleeping on the bed. We were told to pay extra and get extra bedding. When we enquired with the manager of the hotel he said that he was not informed about solo ladies travelling in the group and it was midnight when we had reached the hotel so he could not help us. The next day onwards the hotel was completely booked so one of us had to sleep on the floor.
8) Some of the itinerary if well managed would have been better .
We could have seen a better view of Mount Fuji if we had reached in the morning as the time mentioned in the itinerary and during orientation was to start at 8.00am and we started very late at 10.30am.
9)We were supposed to take the Hakone route (we missed the peace tori gate and other site seeing there)which was never shown to us and when some members complained the agency said we took you through Owakudani ropeway (Owakudani valley was already in itinerary and had to be shown) There also a lot of time was wasted in buying tickets..( Which should have been done earlier.)
10) A travel agency never threatens their customer and never before I had experienced this during my years of travel.
A women from Voyaah who was extremely rude, indirectly told us that that "to avoid issues going forward make a payment "of so and so amount even though it was because of lapse and mismanagement from their side that the working hours of the drivers increased by some hours. Whenever we were given timings we saw to it that we adhered to the timings.
No where in the itinerary and during the phone calls it was mentioned to us (before booking the trip and before starting our trip) that if the vehicle driver exceeded his time we will have to pay extra for it.
Even on the last day of travel we were waiting for a long time in the hotel lobby for the vehicle to drop us at the airport.
Here is a list of the places which were in the itinerary but not shown to us-
1)Imperial palace
2)Chidorigafuchi park
3)Sumida river cruise
4)Hakone area and its famous tori gate of peace
5)Fushimi inari shrine
6)Itsukushima shrine

Me and my 3 friends spent a lot of time researching and talking to various travel agents before finalizing on Voyaah tours. They assured us the best and hence we booked with them. We have spent a substantial amount of money for this trip and now we are highly disappointed with how they went about this trip in the process causing us stress , inconvenience and unhappiness.
