I don’t often write reviews on my experiences with a company, but I couldn’t not shine a light on how utterly disgraceful and downright awful my time with ‘Voyage Care’ was. The people that run this... See more

Why can you not give a 0*
Why can you not give a 0*? They have a home next door to me. The noise since they took over from the council operators is terrible. Staff are ignorant, on their phones down the garden, and as for the management - well they just do not have a clue - to the point that they ask me for advice! AVOID!
I don't know about other voyage care…
I don't know about other voyage care homes, but you see the one at fetcham, Cobham road in leather head is a complete write off.
How do you employ a manager that doesn't understand what it means to lead.she never makes any meaningful decisions that will move the company forward.only takes hasty decisions on the spur of the moment without any thoughts.the place has witnessed a serious decline since she came two months ago.
The environment is toxic, and has become a scary place.
Such a shame.i don't recommend this home to any one looking for job,cos it's been hijacked by some toxic lady in collaboration with the childish manager onboard.
Voyage Care
Terrible company to work for! No support from management at all. They had their favourite staff members and were two faced about the rest. Shifts were changed at the last minute including having to do an over night shift after a 14 hour day. The over night room didn’t have a lockable door. I had to take a door wedge after one of the Service Users got into the room at night. Paperwork raised after behaviours/ incidents was routinely lost. After working yet another Bank Holiday, I was told that I didn’t work here anymore. Apparently one of the senior support workers didn’t like me .
Worst care company out there !
Company fails clients constantly! huge incident that was in the paper's over a year ago whole new management team came in made changes unfortunately some good management left and only the rubbish stayed and then blamed it on staff that had left ! When they were just as responsible ! Alot of changes some for the better some for worse mostly without telling pws or staff what was actually going on they then brought in a lot of overseas workers as they treated old staff so poorly so we left they promised to sponsor them then ignored them for months and now they've taken it back so basically they just used them as a short fix and now these poor people have to go and find other jobs please please please avoid this company I hope someone who can actually do something sees these reviews and shuts them down they treat pws and staff so badly
Let me tell you something,,
Let me tell you something,,, do not work with them... They're picks!!!!.
I signed a 16 hr contract due to study.
Never stopped for one minute. My probation was extended for no good reason.. Two managers hid away in their office... The place is called Hall o shaw... Terrible experience.... And by the way,,, my resume was an still is a dam sight betters then their.
I built great relationships with the service users.... They obviously didn't like it..... A holes all the way.... Hope they get to read this as they know who they are..... Finally, they're not the only game sin town.
Awful communication with the office and…
Awful communication with the office and no support when needed with clients and with staffs.
Management are bullies
Worked here for 1 year before leaving in February and let me tell you, the management are disgusting bullies who does not deserve their jobs. When you come in for your induction you’ll be pleased to see how well everyone works together. Deputy manager was always saying “ we’re one big family “ but that’s a major red flag. The longer you work there you’ll realise how horrible and nasty the management can get. And if you do one minor error, be prepared to get bullied until you leave. They despise staff that have a voice and can stand up for themselves. If you prioritise your mental health do not work for Dudley street voyage care.
Worst place anyone could ever live in…
Worst place anyone could ever live in the Parade at yeadon staff try too constantly control you and stop you from having access too your own money constantly try threatening you and bullying you and thinking there gods gift too everyone absolute joke of a place wouldn’t recommend anyone live there at all
Next time Staff at Broadview in Fareham…
Next time Staff at Broadview in Fareham suggest I need help or that I'm crazy they are making an unintended, huge compliment as those are the first words a Covert Narcassit uses on those who are not easy to manipulate with money or outer beauty.
What is going on
What is going on? HR are playing with staff, mad scientists.
So shocked to read so many…
So shocked to read so many disappointing if not disgraceful reviews! Is anyone reading listening or taking note ! Can't see anything to say there is ! This is so poor given the cost these residents pay to be cared for ! I'm sure most staff want the best for the resident they care for! But feels this is out of carer's control ! It needs a serious review from so called management at all homes ! Or is this a bigger issue that requires deeper control and investigation from so called safe guarding professionals! Needs acting on now !!gutted to think this awful behaviour appears the norm ! Utterly disgraceful!
Ashamed
Ashamed to say I worked for this company the pws were a joy to care for but the management is a disgrace they don’t listen to you paper work never updated
Fire safety regulations for the pws were inadequate and failse
Of management didn’t like you they would find away to get rid of you even if they had favourite staff they would listen to them and not the disliked ones
Company needs shutting down
Awful company that place paedophiles…
Awful company that place paedophiles opposite infant schools, surrounded by alleyways, bed bugs riddles throughout the SU’s and homes!!! Racism and discrimination with exploitation of staff who are vulnerable to the vile voyage system! Should be axed the whole company, horrendous values and profit from individuals, both service users and staff.
Abuse
No proper training, no support by menagament, staff abused, even threatended by some of the Service Users. When eporting, nothing happens. Said and disappionting experience working with this company.
Poor company
The worst company ive ever had the misfortune of working for. If you read through the other reviews you will be able to gain an accurate scope of this companies practices and how they conduct "care". Safeguarding and patient care concerns dismissed, paperwork never updated and they leave their clients and staff alike in a state of mental confusion. I would not advise seeking this care company for loved ones or anyone seeking a role within the company stay well clear!
An absolutely shocking care provider
An absolutely shocking care provider. They do not care about the people they support or the staff supporting them. Voyage as a company are all about the profit for its shareholders and nothing else. Management don’t listen to safeguarding concerns and unsafe practice is allowed to take place even when concerns have been raised. Poor management of service users funds has lead to them losing thousands. Stay well clear as an employer or as a service provider
one star is to much
one star is to much Do not allow your loved ones to be subject to there abuse, my sister is in cavendish road Trafford . they are neglecting her and refusing calls from family, when they have no right disgusting staff in that place social services safeguarding team are not acting fast enough . avoid at all costs
Professionally & morally dysfunctional.
This company is a sad reflection of the state of much social care provision. Apparently set up to profit from vulnerable & disadvantaged people, the largely highly motivated and skilled front-line staff suffer at the hands of incompetent, immature & narcissistic managers. Bullying & humiliation of staff is common. Managers don't understand the core principles of care work, team building, professional support and even basic human courtesy. To my mind its scandalous that public money is channelled into this company and deserves proper regulatory investigation. Taxpayers, caring professionals, service users and families all deserve better.
Best company I have worked for.
I have worked in care sector for over 17 years and Voyagecare is simply the best. Supportive, allowing personal growth and pay is excellent. Management is out of this world. I am very lucky to have best line manager there is. Senior management is excellent. If you work hard you get recognition from managers all the way to CEO. I have been always treated with respect, I feel listened to and I feel like my contributions are always appreciated. Company cares deeply for Pople we support and is continuously looking to improve quality of care and training their staff to deliver best care possible. Thank you Voyagecare - Crawley
If you care about your loved ones don’t put them in voyage care homes
If you care about your loved ones do not put them into a voyage care home, the company is corrupt. Your loved one will sit in a chair or lay in bed day in day out with very little communication or stimulation. They never go out, they never get choices/input to do with anything. ITS NOT CARE ITS A BUSINESS, all they care about is money they get 1-1 funding for pws they won’t get 1-1 as they never have enough staff. It’s a 1 out 1 in set up, the minute a resident dies they’re emptying their room for another in the same week. Staff are not supported at all, they’re there because they’ve got to be to afford their bills. The care and compassion is gone and that is thanks to the awful management that get rid of good staff and pass around the staff that do wrong from one home to the next. They don’t care if the job is affecting your mental health their answer would be ‘leave’. Management make all the decisions but they don’t even know the residents as they’re never in service. They lock away food from residents and restrict their intake of food and drink. They constantly forge documents and run on unsafe numbers or have agency(strangers) come in to ‘care’ for them. They have no quality of life in these homes and I have been around many in the last 8 years.
