Lost parcel

Was a regular customer as I ordered stuffs from overseas every month and use vpost regularly. But recent event make me felt that their service is of real low quality. They placed my parcel outside my house without informing me. They told me that the deliveryman tried to press the doll bell and nobody open the door (I am pretty sure I am at home during that time and there is no door bell sound). Even if I am not at home, how can the deliveryman place the parcel outside without even informing me. And they told me it is their usual practice. End up I lost my parcel as I suspect somebody stole it or they did not even deliver it in first place. After wasting 2 hrs, they told me they will investigate and get back to me.

Since 29 Dec, i have been trying to call them to enquire about my parcel status (with the hope that it is not lost) and they always tell me that they will get back to me in 3 days. But they never ever get back to me only after quite some time, when I lost my patience, thus I demanded for a manager call back on the same day, But the manager only call me back a few days later. Since then I have wasted more than 5 hours of time trying to talk to them/get into their hotline. There are also different statement of what happen to my parcel by different customer service officers. How can there be different statements of what happen to my parcel being given by your customer service officers???

After i requested for a manager to call me twice on different days, finally a manager called me on 12th Jan and she said that the item has been reported lost. She told me that another person (why another person??) will call me in 3 days time. I do not believe they will call me back based on my past experience and i am right. Nobody call me again and i had to call the hotline.

On 18th Jan, I have been waiting for a response from these jokers and there is literally 0 response from them, thus I called into their hotline and demanded a manager to call back. This time round, somebody did call me back on the same day. But guess what, he told me to wait for another 3 days!!! What a joke!!! Singpost/Vpost you guys really need to wake up. Do you know how many 3 days have I waited? Don't let your inefficiency be a burden to your customers. Furthermoire you all have never ever honor the 3 days update promise to me. Very low quality service. Then in the afternoon, some manager called me and asked me for my email. He said he will be sending me a form and refund me back based on singpost terms. However he did not share with me in detail on what singpost terms means until I ask him about it. He then shared with me that singpost will only cover up to 50% of the cost of my goods. Hello!!! Are you serious? You all are the ones who did not deliver my mail. It can be your mailer who stole my goods and now you all do not even want to compensate me fairly. I did not even ask you guys to compensate me for my loss of time. And if I did not ask the caller on what singpost compensation terms is, I am pretty sure he will not even tell me and simply end the call with me to brush me off. No wonder all the staffs that I encounter till now give me such bad service as the manager did not even lead by example.

To sum things up, although I have been promised by singpost/vpost that they will call me within 3 working days to give me an update, but they have never ever call me. I am always the one who called after 4 or 5 days later. They are not apologetic at all. All of them will brush you off by telling you that they will get back to you in 3 days. But believe me, they never ever did. Good luck if you deal with them.

Reently they finally admit that the package was lost. They asked for my bank details and promise refund in 10 days. It is more than 10 days and no refund is being made. What a useless company from the head to toes!!!!! Incredible disappointing!!!! Thumbs down to this company!!!! I would love to give 0 stars or even negative if this website allows me to!!!

Update: Package delivered, but not reflected

Update: Got a refund through UPS as the package was deemed lost with proof it did not arrive at the warehouse. Was misinformed by Customer Support that it arrived (Customer Support checked UPS tracking instead of whether it was in the Vpost System) hence the misunderstanding. Thank you to Mr Manish Paliwal for attempting to resolve the case.

My next package delivered on the 29th December 2021 and only was reflected in my acc on the 10th Jan 2022. Do note for those who are facing similar issues to contact customer support after 5 business days and confirm if it is actually in the Vpost System so that you can rest easy instead of staring at the ceiling at night wondering if it really got delivered or If you have to file another claim with UPS. Thank you Mr Yogesh from Customer Support who checked thorougly and then got back to me.

Hi Team, require some assistance. Package was notified delivered by UPS and was noted as reached US Warehouse on the 7th of December by customer Support and was told to wait for 5 working days to be reflected into my Vpost account. Till date (23rd December) still has not been reflected into my Vpost Account and no one is replying my emails even with me replying them constantly. Seems like there is an issue where the USA Warehouse is not being linked to the Vpost Warehouse/ Account correctly. How is it that it has reached the warehouse but everytime I contact customer support they said they have not recieved on their end? It does not make any sense to me. Please, if anyone is able to kindly verify and assist me, that would be great. Package delivery but nothing in Vpost Singapore

Vpost - this is a reply to your response below and the latest in my case.

Thanks Farah from Vpost Instagram for pushing Vpost to reply but the whole ordeal was disappointing. Manish Paliwal finally replied at 12:42 am just to inform me that the warehouse did not receive my package and told me to liaise with the merchant if the address is correct. I responded in the morning with the invoice from Estee Lauder showing the correct address and 2 proof of deliveries both accepted by HDB and TR at the dock from UPS. The second package by TR was tagged by Vpost within a day but the first package received by HDB is the one supposedly not received by the warehouse. Just like that Vpost has chucked off the responsibility of my package and blame someone else even with proof. I'm still waiting for a reply from my response and it's been 2 days. My guess is there will be none.

18dec: omg Vpost whats wrong with you guys!!! 10 days since my package was marked delivered and until now 18th Dec still not tagged by vpost to arrange shipment to SG. No replies to all my emails, calling doesnt get through. Did i just got robbed by a national post??? Are you guys operating a legal den of thieves in US??? I hope people read the reviews first before trying vpost. I regret not doing that and trusting my country's efficiency.

I'm finally in Singapore after 2 years of lockdown and am only here for a month. Thought it would be great to order something from US when I reached and used Vpost to receive it. Package reached the Vpost US address on 8th and until today still not tagged by Vpost. Emailed them several items and the reply always asked for 5 days later and now they need another 3 days to investigate. I've given up hope that I can receive the item here in Singapore before I leave. Extremely disappointed with Vpost Singapore, used them last in 2015 and it wasn't this bad. It's been 6 working days and where is my package???? total disregard for customer's money and time. Should have used comgateway instead and should have read reviews here first before choosing to use Vpost again.

No Customer Service

I was unable to find a contact number on Vpost Australia and emailed them on the 10th of September. Until now I have not heard about my repacking request.
The actual weight of the content is ~3 Kg. The packaging weight is 4.08 Kg and the volumetric weight is 6.4 Kg. As the difference is > 2 Kg, I requested repacking. I want this package to be shipped ASAP.

No existant customer service

Really regret that I didn't see the bad reviews earlier.

My package was delivered to US warehouse on 01-Dec-2021. It's been more than 1 week but I haven't received any updates for the item in my account.

Filled-in the contact form, but never get any reply.

Called the hotline multiple times, but never get to talk to anyone. Only get to listen to the sad piano music while waiting for customer service to answer my call.

Should have read the reviews before using vpost service

I’m joining the majority of the reviewers for vpost. The amount they charge for shipping a package is really daylight robbery. Better use direct shipping option from merchant. totally ripped off after using the service, plus the shipping times, they are the slowest among major provider (UPS DHL Fedex.. etc). I feel so desperate after using vpost service, and no intention to use it again...

Vpost is blatantly ripping people off…

Vpost is blatantly ripping people off with their shipping pricing.

Ordered 5 guitar picks and Vpost is asking for $127 AUD for 1.6kg. How is 5 guitar picks 1.6kg? The item isnt even 300g or bigger than 10cmx10cmx4cm.

I have also tried emailing customer support and I have not heard a single reply for over 1 week. Not even a confirmation for customs declaration form. They also state if you do not send the merchant invoice they will charge a $55 fee, no where in the terms and conditions or sign up this is mentioned.

This service is just a scam to hold your packages hostage until you pay the ransom.

Absolute trash customer service

Absolute trash customer service. This company and its incompetent management does not care about you. On top of being bloody difficult to reach via phone they left me without update on my ticket for a missing iPhone 13 Pro for more than a week now. Please provide better tracking…

Please provide better tracking information. Item received by US warehouse on Nov 2nd, payment made on Nov 3rd, shipped out on Nov 4th, in between status updated to transit in Taiwan on vpost and then out for delivery on Nov 16th on speedpost tracking page but vpost is still transit in Taiwan. This was standard air freight and estimated delivery time was Nov 10-17.

Air freight cost is quite standard and has been using it since 2013 . If you dont need the package urgently, go for economy air frieght which is charged based on actual weight instead of volumetric weight.

Online chat function is not available, it could be very helpful if vpost provide it.

Total blood sucker

Take note this company is a total blood sucker where they charge you exceptionally high for freight. They charge at least double the actual weight of your goods and that is not all yet they also imposed base charge. So figure out the charges is like at least 2 times the actual weight + base charges. Never a freight company receive 90% 1 star review that is also because there is not zero star allowed !!!!

No response and now declared as “lost”

As per previous post, had no response from vPost on 2 separate occasions. The package showed and marked arrived 1 day later in vPost system (15 Oct) versus FedEx record (14 Oct). Paid for return to sender (merchant due to incorrect order) on 20 Oct, and complete radio silence after that.

Keep monitoring dashboard to see any progress with the request, and no update until 25 Oct morning there was a cancellation remark with “Package not found” note. Now, the same package with the same Box No. however appears in order tab “Ready to Ship” seeking payment of higher value as this means the package will be shipped to Australia instead of being returned to local sender (merchant). Consequently, I had to contact vPost Singapore (yes International Call) as they do not have Australian office or contact, to enquire this bizarre phenomenon. Multiple calls to vPost customer service (all are based in either Malaysia or Singapore) will only provide feedback “No worry, we will try to help you and contact the relevant team to look into this - this may take 3 business days” and there would be generic email templates sent to me post each call. No further communication or resolution has been offered to date while waiting for some answer.

Since the package has been determined lost or not found, what is the next step now vPost? Are you going to bail on your customer to wonder if you will step up and take ownership of the issue?

I believe someone is trying to scam my packages. sent a used laptop using Vpost.. no problem, a week later they withheld 4 used laptops until now, reasons, they cant ship used electronics. those laptops r for children studying during covid. The assistant manager said only ship used electronics in original manufacturers packaging.. few weeks later, bought first ipad..... no problem... went through. when I bought the second and 3rd ipad. they withheld them again. reasons given. no plastics protecting the screen & the usb connector is used. what kind of nonsense is this. they were the ones who said in its original box is enuff. recommend to discard them. if everyone discarding their packages that cant be sent... who will get to keep the IPADS?

VPost gave me so much anxiety

Had my package 'missing' for close to a month now because Aus Post had declared the item as delivered but it failed to show up on my dashboard after like 9 days. Went on to contact Vpost, contact Aus Post, my merchant and even the warehouse facility itself just to track down my package. Had to send in my order info, get the proof of delivery and send it all out and wait and wait for everyone's response. Unfortunately, the response was kinda slow like I had to keep calling in to check and check because Vpost said they would call back within a certain time frame but then didn't. Finally, 3 weeks after my package was delivered, it has arrived and shows up in my dashboard (I was already starting to believe that my package was stolen). It was so stressful because the items ordered were a pretty hefty sum.

Till today, I have no idea what happened to my package along the way because I was told that it arrived at the warehouse by aus post but then vpost said that it didn't. Thankfully i had the proof of delivery to trace back!

I'm just writing this to let vpost know that maybe they should be more diligent about following up with their customers but I also wanted to thank all the agents who replied my emails and answered my calls – they were all very helpful, assuring and polite and I am so thankful for them. Vpost should fix their system but their employees are doing a great job.

If you are considering using vpost, pls pls pls ensure you can get a proof of delivery for your item. If you are on this page because you're facing a similar situation, I truly and sincerely hope that your item will be found and rightfully find its way home to you. If you are a Vpost employee, I hope your day will be great and thank you for your hard work especially during this tough time.

Vpost is worst service company I have…

Vpost is worst service company I have encountered. They made it so difficult for me to unsubscribe despite the fact that I had not even use their service. Honestly I would rate them zero in terms of rating. At this point in time I still couldn't get them to stop sending me SMS, informing me about their shipping rate change. They require written notice in the form of letter. Who does this in today's world. Dinosaur would survive this company.

Regretted that I did not see all this…

Regretted that I did not see all this extremely bad reviews as I am a first time user of vpost USA and had the most unluckily experience of stolen packages and the manager, Gaya has the audacity to put the blame on UPS and the merchant for not shipping my package. I had to go through the trouble to get UPS to send me the proof of delivery with the signature of this unknown person TR. Even after emailing to them the signed proof of delivery. I did not hear from VPOST at all.
Until now I still do not know when I will get my full refund of almost $400.

Those who are in USA who get “free Xmas gifts” daily from silly customers like me who makes the wrong decision to use VPOST USA services !!!
What is the use of an apology when there is no solution, I just want my refund is $400 not $40 or $4. Calling the customer service is like the next agony that I have to put up with as minimally I have to wait for 30 mins before someone answers and the customer service officer will repeat the same taglines : We will try our best to help you, you have to wait for 3 working days for us to investigate !
The best part as stated in the terms and conditions it will be store credits who is dumb enough to use Vpost services again
I was unable to stop the use of their services as I still have another two packages that I have yet to reach the warehouse which I have a very bad and strong feeling that it will be stolen or missing again !!!!!!!!!
After going through so much agony and time that was wasted. The blame was pushed to UPS in the end my $100 over bag has vanished in thin air !!!
There is a system flaw or lack of supervision or negligence or simply put there is no Standard !! So please think carefully when engaging them. Merchant and shipper’s fault but not Vpost !
I think I must have offended VPOST and SPEEDPOST before that my second package is missing or stolen but this time in Singapore
It’s arrived here on the 8/11 with the package ID UAG69958 but until now in my dashboard the status is - Arrive in Singapore
Using Speedpost link I tracked this package ID that it has been delivered when I did not even receive an SMS about it
I think there is a high chance that my package was delivered to someone else and that lucky person get my $300 worth of items for free and as usual I have to give VPOST 3 working days to INVESTIGATE!!
From all this unnecessary and stressful bad experiences that I have encountered, I must never give them a second chance to gain back my trust !! I will update here again what is the outcome
In my mind it will be like:
We are sorry to inform you that we are not able to track your package, it’s beyond our capabilities! We do not provide any refund.
Those who have read my review. Be a smart consumer and stop using their services
Pay more to have a peaceful mind then encountering the worst NIGHTMARE!! of incorrigible acts of dishonesty and zero customer service/support!
Update for the second nightmare:
16/11 at 9am I received an SMS about my missing package that will be delivered to me today I have to pray hard that it is actually my package !!
