I am very happy with the service provided by VPScheap.net. I would recommend anyone to host their website here. They would never regret their decision.

Not serious

I tried to order a VPS. They did not accept my credit card and told me its not possible order from any other country than your living country. I answered them that i have two houses in different countries - is it a shame? And sent them a scan of my creditcard.

They keep on their opinion to not accept my order. I told them OK and please delete my personal information/data. They declined to delete my personal data and just wrote me "thats fair enough".

I have no understanding for this behaviour. Better hands of this unserious hoster.

What a piece of crap...

What a piece of crap. Will never buy from here in the rest of my life. I will also tell everyone I know to not buy services from here.
Here is the time I had with them:

* Slow upload/download speed - Tooked average 2 minutes to install a 60 MB package. Websites hosted on the VPS takes 10 seconds to load. Compared to Google - About 1.5 second.
* Overpriced - There are so many other better and cheaper options than this crap. I paid 70$ (2GB RAM, 50GB SSD) for a year, Am I satisfied? Hell no.
* Suspending my service for a DoS attack - Litteraly suspended, Turning off the node entirely and preventing me to use it. Bet they don't even have DoS / DDoS protection.

Never buy from this place, Would not recommend, Stay away from this place. Rather pay a little extra for a good VPS rather than getting scammed on this crap. If I would have seen these reviews from the beginning before I ordered, I would never buy from the beginning. Trust me, Stay away from here. Worst company I have ever seen in my life providing VPS services. This place shouldn't even be allowed to be a company. What a bs. Don't ever order if you read this. This is an important alert. Stay away from these scammers.
EDIT: Asked for them to unsuspend my service, They did it, But they also said something like this: "If we find that you violate our TOS again we would need to suspend your service." Which is really stupid. Like is it my fault that someone attacked me or they do not have any DDoS protection, No, That's their problem. Once again, Stay away whatever you do if possible.

avoid these scammers

Yeah, avoid this company. They don't compensate for multiple outages. They lie about outage reasons. They never find a problem with their systems even when you send in screenshots of down VMs. They will steal your money if you try to cancel and ask for a refund of the outstanding balance. They emptied my entire account balance out of retaliation for my public complaints and negative reviews. Totaly unethical company.

DECEPTIVE PRACTICES! AVOID!

If I could give no stars, I would!
VPSCheap.net is using a decade old Linux kernel on their servers! Trying to update the packages installed in the OS breaks the system!
Their connection is also ridiculously slow, average latency is about 500ms so trying to do anything over SSH is painful.
I never would have paid for this service if I had known how HORRIBLE both their servers and their customer service is!

BEWARE THE 30 DAY "GUARANTEE"!! It is essentailly non-existent! It's displayed all over the website as covering "all packages", but reading their fine print uncovers the fact that they will refuse to cover you for almost any reason at all, including using any reasonable portion of your allocated resources or even paying for more than 1 month at a time! THERE IS NO OPTION TO PAY MONTHLY ON ANY OF THEIR LOW LEVEL PLANS!

All I wanted was a cheap server to host my basic Django based website on, but that's way too modern of a use case for these servers!

SCUM, complete and utter SCUM. UNDER ABSOLUTELY NO CIRCUMSTANCE SHOULD YOU USE THIS ATROCIOUS SERVICE.

I expect a reply from them with some BS about "Terms of Service", which is completely irrelevant due to their VPS service being NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. OUTDATED AND USELESS. "If you want a server that isn't completely useless, please upgrade your plan"

Deceptive marketing and bad product

They say "All plans include"... "30 Day Money Back Guarantee". I created a plan and paid. Regretfully for technical reasons you can't update the VPS to any recent Linux version, so I kindly asked for a refund.

They refused the refund because their terms and conditions says you can only ask for a refund if you pay per month. However, for the plan I purchased you must pay minimum six month voiding any chance of refund.

After some conversation with their customer support they closed my case. As a nice little twist, they disabled sending feedback on the support case, so according to their statistics, customers are probably happy.

It's not a lot of money, so I'll probably just let it pass; but should I get the opportunity I'd be very interested in being part of a class action lawsuit. Such people shouldn't earn money.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

I signed up for service with VPS CHEAP. I was advised at the time of signup that the service had a control panel which it did not. I immediately cancelled the service and asked for a refund. The refund was denied. One year later, I had a charge appear on my PayPal account from VPS Cheap. PayPal refused to remove the charge even though I had requested cancellation a year earlier! This company IS NOT customer friendly! DO NOT USE!!!

Horrible company

Horrible company. I had the 3rd best VPS service but couldn't install VestaCP as the server ran out of resources before the script finished. I then proceeded to get a refund (within a few hours of opening an account) and was told only one of my payments were covered under the 30-day money back gurantee even though it was a duplicate payment. So they essentially kept my money when a reputable company would have refunded.

If you want shoddy VPS performance and terrible customer service which will steal from you any chance they get. VPScheap is the service for you.

Globally well

For the renting of a basic VPS, some downtimes, but good service quality the most of the time. Certainly the best quality-price ratio.

Fair for the price and resources included

I do use their services wich are price fair according to what they offer. Note that their services evolve. However their support is mostly mentioning the price per hour for technical support which is not quite friendly imo, fact for which, if I would be completely noob i would cut a star or 2, but when you are capable to install a firewall like csf or ssl certs from certbot and have a more than fair uptime of 99.97%, then I would say that, you should put some effort in your environment too ;) and give them a try. They will be more amiable when more clients will be there... for sure.

They do not have ssl service on their…

They do not have ssl service on their website, however, they sell it. They take the money from customers and then go to cheapname.com and buy the service from them. The point is the cheat customer by pretending that they are official re-seller of ssl. They have all ssl information of the customers. In addition, if anything goes wrong with the customer, they suspend all its services to make him lose money. I have ordered two services from them server service and ssl service. I disputed about the ssl service when I figured out that they are a third party and they cannot offer the service on their own website. However, they suspend my entire website to make me lose money. This is entrusted website.

Horrible and intolerable support

Horrible support; deleted my VPS files and they don't allow custom OS. Most definitely won't be continuing once my billing period is done

Thank you for getting back to me. Your support was rude and conduct wasn’t acceptable hence why I believe you’re a bad brand. As I learnt from you buying cheap comes with consequences.

Hello:
Thank you for your review. As we reviewed with you in your ticket, you requested assistance with your server and an agent
determined a reboot was required to restore service for you. After the reboot, you informed us that you placed files in a location which would be considered a temporary storage location cleared on reboot, and not intended for permanent storage. Because this is a self managed server it would be up to each customer to determine a proper setup for their files and other contents in accordance with Linux standards.

As an unmanaged hosting provider VPSCheap does not maintain backups of customer files, however does offer an optional backup service which you did not have at the time of the incident.

Should you require further assistance please feel free to open a ticket with our support team.

Worst service

They don't do refund for any package order (in my case, a year long VPS hosting) and using OpenVZ as hypervisor (don't working with l2tp/ipsec, which is only options for mikrotik secure vpn for now).

Appauling support and worst service!

One VPS for 3 months, and nothing but hell. wouldn't offer a refund because "tri-billing services are exempt from this service" and if that wasnt bad enough, they don't even offer custom OS' on their machines, only "pre-approved installs", ridiculous. won't be continuing with them at the end of my billing period.
