Used this company in the past , recently had an issue with a missing delivery. Not the company's fault but the couriers that they use. Happy to say all sorted by Brett and I will certainly be using this company again in the future.

Excellent customer service. A part that was delivered had the wrong thread. I rang up, the person I spoke to was polite, friendly, and apologised for the mistake. No arguing, or asking to send back the part before replacing. He said he would get the new part dispatched today.

I’ve been using VW Heritage since they started many years ago over the last few years problems have been occurring with this company, The most recent problem I’m having is I purchased a single carb from them about two years ago after using it for a few months it was leaking petrol I sent it back and they said they would resend me a replacement when one comes in stock now over one year later still waiting, they haven’t contacted me regarding the replacement but I looked on their website and they had them in stock last week so ordered it through the website from them today because I haven’t received it now they are telling me there is no more in stock and I need to wait again, in my opinion this is not good enough the place is useless it didn’t used to be like this and it’s nothing to do with the recent lockdowns this problem occurred before the lockdown.

I placed an order over 3 weeks ago and have still not received the parts. Car can't be driven until they turn up. I am in Ireland and have been told due to Brexit there are various "complexities" with fulfilling the order. It's funny that it does not mention this on the website and they are quite happy to accept an order from an EU country but don't seem to have anticipated the issues that Brexit would throw up. I will update this review if I ever receive my parts from VW Heritage.

Update 25th Feb: Still no parts but offered refund so took it, refund received today and that is the end of the fun and games.

I’ve been ordering parts from VWHeritage for a while now and cannot recommend them enough.

When I wasn’t happy with a particular part (I’m a bit fussy), they apologised and offered compensation and when I accidentally ordered another part twice, they were very understanding and offered to have it sent back.

If you want to keep your old VW on the road, this is one of the best places to go.

Nervous because of poor rating. Nevertheless ordered coolant hose for my aged Cabriolet because of good price . Correct part delivered next working day. Fitted perfectly.

As previously written by others, shabby customer care. Extremely bad advice from start to finish.....can't help but feel I've been stolen from after foolishly ordering parts. Stay clear and go to any of their competitors.

He was argumentative when dealing with a simple mistake he had made.
It’s a shame really when a single person can tarnish the name of a company.
Nick Britton’s (Paul’s direct superior supposedly) answer to the situation was if we have failed you at VW Heritage you can shop else where !
I’ve been a Loyal customer for years this is the first time I’ve had cause to complain and it’s clear they are very different people to deal with when there is an issue !
Poor after care !

These guys mistakenly sent me a different seal set and i emailed them about it and they were extremely cool about it! They sent me the right part without any hassle! Everything was handled in a timely manner, too! I was more impressed than i would have been had everything gone right :D

I have used Heritage for the last few years and they are great. Their parts are very high quality (the only time they weren't I was offered replacement/refund/free upgrade) and they are delivered by a proper courier with hour time slots (possibly the only courier that has never messed up a delivery to me!) Rarely prices are a little higher than competition, but if you phone they will price match - can't get fairer than that really.

Great quality items that last! Only downside is the postage to NI is a wee bit expensive but sure!
