I have many Wacoal bras

I have many Wacoal bras, but can’t wear any of except for the bra that I bought a month ago. The underwire always pokes through. I wash them clasped and in a lingerie bag. As much as is charged for these bras, this should not happen to every bra.

A terrible experience

A terrible experience. I ordered two bras from Wacoal and both arrived deeply and permanently creased, as though they’d been crushed under something heavy. I contacted customer service and provided photos. I was advised to try them on to “see if the creases would naturally smooth out,” and even to wash them. After going through all that effort—for two brand-new, expensive bras—they were still badly creased.

I followed up with additional photos, as requested, only to be told they found “no indication of a manufacturer’s defect.” I was instructed to return them at my own expense, paid $22 in shipping, and still have not received a refund for the bras. This entire experience has been time-consuming, frustrating, and frankly insulting. Shame on Wacoal for treating a loyal customer this way. I am appalled—and no longer a customer.

Stay away!!!

Like many others here, my bra arrived and did not fit at all. I even went to a store that carried the brand to try the fit and the one that arrived fit completely differently. I tried to return it, but they want you to pay for the shipping of the return, which costs as much as the bra!!! If your fit is going to be completely unpredictable, you can't charge people to return items!!! They don't care if their customers are happy so don't give them your money.

Non existent customer service

I reached out to this company multiple times regarding some issues I was having placing an order. They ignored all of my messages and never responded to me. They lost my business because of this. I would have been a customer if they had responded, but they’re obviously not hurting for business. My recommendation would be to buy from a company who cares more about their customers and isn’t so rude.

I was sent wrong item, and now want me to pay more for what I ordered.

I ordered a navy bra 38C, and received a beige bra in 40C, different style. The cardboard tag said 38C and the sewn in tag said 40C with the wrong color, size and style. First customer service agent sounded like she was taking the call from a bathroom with kids screaming in the background. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and had to wait until the next day for her to call me back.
I asked if I could get the style I ordered in a dark color in the correct size with the original sale price, since they sent me the wrong one, and I was told what I ordered was out of stock, and they couldn't substitute any other colors. I would have to pay full price even though it was their mistake. I won't be buying this brand ever again. Poor customer service and a waste of my time.

Difficult return process

I ordered 3 bras in my normal size and was surprised they were too small when they arrived. Since I had tried wearing one of them, I just sent 2 of the bras never worn with tags still on back following their return instructions. I did receive confirmation from Wacoal America that they received my return of both bras within a few days on April 18, 2025. Wacoal claims they did not receive the return order on the date their own email reflected.
Wacoal's return process is anything but easy! Getting them to process the credit in a timely manner has been difficult and upsetting. When I called to ask when i would receive a credit, they told me it takes up to 10 business days from date of receipt. This detail is not provided on their return instructions. If I had known this, I never would have ordered replacement bras and paid for them after sending the bras that did not fit back. By the way, the new order was processed, delivered and paid for within 4-5 days!
Nevertheless, I waited and after 4 business days, I got an email from Wacoal saying THEY ONLY APPLIED CREDIT FOR ONE BRA.. I called & spoke to Christy who said she believed me that the bras, were in the same order and the same packaging, had never been worn and she would push through the credit that could take a few days. At this time, I am still waiting for the credit they claim they did apply to show up on my credit card and for the new credit that Christy said she was pushing through to be confirmed. This whole process was not easy and quite unpleasant and I provided this feedback to them in email and on the phone. Between the bras running small and the return process being lengthily and not going smoothly, I would not do business with this company again.

After purchasing 3 bras from this…

After purchasing 3 bras from this website I then took a look at the reviews and started to worry. The bras arrived within 5 days and sadly didn’t fit. I’d noted how people complained about returns and refunds so I packed the bras up, sent them off and 3 days later I have my refund!! Sterling services but a shame the bras didn’t fit!! Highly recommend this company

$80 to return a bra + Terrible Support

I ordered a sports bra through their website, to Canada. It did not fit, so I followed the instructions for the return only to find out that the shipping cost is on ME! :( I was quoted $80 cheapest to send back ONE BRA worth just above that. I tried to contact support to ask for a prepaid shipping label (which most companies provide for FREE) and was told it's their policy, I'm out of luck, and when I asked to speak to someone higher they disconnected my chat. Can't get through by phone to their support number, ever, as it's always busy. Not even an option to wait or be placed on hold. For 2025, this is such a crusty, archaic way to treat your customers. I absolutely DO NOT recommend purchasing from their website, as unless the bra fits and you love it, you'll be out of pocked the cost of the bra just to send it back to them, and they will ignore you.

Take this as your sign to buy elsewhere

Ordered from this company for the first time in December of 2024, and they sent two bras that were allegedly 34 band size, which I had measured myself for multiple times before ordering just to make sure, because I thought I was a 36 and was mistaken.
These bras were so tight I ended up getting extenders because I wanted them to work. They still didn't fit right. The material felt worse than my cheap Amazon nursing bras. So I sent them back, fully willing to use my refund to purchase a larger size. I had washed the bras before sending them back, and got confirmation that they had been received, but no email after until I contacted them, and suddenly they can't send any refund at all because of "bad odor". One bra hadn't even been worn and the other had been tried on, washed, and sent back.
Even if that was the case, fine, but I hadn't received any email saying anything about not getting a refund until I had to contact them myself.

I hate giving 1 star reviews. I always try to find something good to say, but I can't about this company. You're better off finding somewhere else to buy bras. I wish I had seen this website sooner so I wouldn't be out 75 dollars on bras with bad material that didn't fit.

I ordered from Wacoal for the first time

I ordered from Wacoal for the first time and when the bras arrived, they were smaller than marked and the material felt cheap and uncomfortable to the touch. I was so unimpressed given the purchase price and the brand reputation and I didn't want to do business with them anymore, so I returned the bras and it cost me nearly $30 in shipping. I would never recommend shopping at Wacoal. If they are not your thing, it will cost you at least $30 (within Canada) to find that out. That's a great way to make sure first time customers become "never again" customers. You can't try anything new without paying some kind of fee.

Broken wire in sports bra

The wire broke in one of the sports bra I purchased from Wacoal. The initial customer service rep I spoke with on 11/9 told me to return it and that I would get store credit to purchase a new one. After waiting a few weeks for my store credit I call again today and am told that I won't receive a refund or replacement because I had purchased over 3 months ago. This was never communicated to me. They received my return on 11/13. I was quite clear with the customer service rep when the bra was purchased and she even looked up the order number and told me it was fine since it is a quality issue. I also have several others of the same bra which are older and held up just fine so clearly this one must have had a defective wire. I am not happy with company's customer service and their communication and feel that I was misled. They do not stand behind their products. I will not buy from them again.

Avoid buying from Walcoal at all costs.

As a lifelong customer of Walcoal, I was very disappointed with my latest experiences with them. I bought the same bra I always do and about 6 months later, holes developed near the clasp in the back ruining the ability for the bra to be supportive. In the past my bras have lasted many many years, only needing to be replaced after the normal effects of long term wear. I thought maybe this was a one time defect, so I emailed asking for a replacement. I bought the bra on 6/13/22 and emailed them on 4/9/23. They replied claiming it had been over a year. It doesn’t take a bright person to know that the distance between those dates is under a year. I took the L and was frustrated but decided to buy it again, this time from Amazon since Walcoal’s customer service was terrible and I didn’t want to deal with that again. Two months into owning the bra and the same exact issue happens - a rip in the back. Amazon unfortunately wasn’t able to refund it so I tried contacting Walcoal again to see if they could participate in some goodwill and help compensate me for the now $120+ I spent on two defective bras. The best they could do was 10% off and free shipping. Please take your money somewhere else - this company has sadly gone downhill over the years and is no longer the reliable institution they once were.

Mismarked size

Ordered a bra with band size 38. The one that arrived measured 29.5. I contacted Wacoal three times so far, requesting that I not be charged for return shipping since the product was defective ( it was marked 38). None of my e mails have been answered.

Update: I received a reply trying to explain the size differential. Ridiculous, but at least they responded.

Customer service is awful

Customer service is awful! They tell you they will call you back and do not. Supervisor on the third attempt was rude and argumentative.
I had bought and worn same size for years and thought there would be no reason to expect different but the bras are too tight! I didn’t discover this until I had washed and worn them since, again, I had no reason to suspect. I was told there was nothing they could do for me at all. I bought these in good faith that they would fit the same as all the others, but my faith was rewarded with too bad, you are out of luck. No thank you for the years as a customer. Well, I am finished now. Don’t waste your money, this company has no honor.

Wacoal UK - horrible service

I bought lingeries from Wacoal UK, although the company was quick to send the items, they are a nightmare to return them. I am still waiting for a refund 3 weeks later, when I managed to get someone from their customer services to contact me, they refunded me the wrong items. Now I cannot get hold of them. So bad, I can’t believe they are running a legitimate business.
