A great product for security

A great product for security. I'm using it for my company server, and it's worked perfectly and has many features:
- Monitoring
- Update IPs data frequently
- Block popular attacks (SQL injection, XSS, CORS, Scan...)
- Proxy with SSL (Let's Encrypt)
It can be alternative WAF license or expensive firewall hardware

Balzing fast and easy to use WAF

I'm using this WAF (Web Application Firewall) currently for around 25 pages, and I'm pleased with it, as well as with the support.
Because SafeLine is created as a Reverse Proxy, you can literally protect anything with a WebUI with it, by simply routing your traffic through the SafeLine docker container. No matter, if you want to protect a Docker container, an existing Apache installation or a Django application.

Impacts on transmission rate, delivery of websites etc. are almost unnoticeable. Even with many requests.

If you want simply protect your websites, even the free version is a great catch. If you want to configure more than the basics, you have to upgrade to the pro version.

Pros:
* Nginx based
* Blazing fast
* Easy to use UI
* Easy to implement
* Great contact with product and marketing manager
* Beautiful error pages

Cons:
* Expensive, as the pro version is meant for companies
* Sometimes challenging to debug

A Reliable Self-Hosted WAF Solution

When my company set out to find a robust, self-hosted Web Application Firewall (WAF) to protect our product, we had high standards for security, ease of use, and flexibility. After an extensive search, I came across SafeLine. Initially, I was skeptical about its capabilities, but I decided to give it a shot. SafeLine proved to be an impressive solution, exceeding my expectations in multiple areas.

Installation and Usability:
Installing SafeLine was straightforward, and I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to get started. For anyone familiar with NGINX, understanding SafeLine's structure and configuration is intuitive. The documentation is clear and covers all essential details, making it accessible for both experienced administrators and those new to self-hosted WAFs.

Outstanding Customer Support:
One standout aspect of SafeLine is the high-quality support team. Carrie, in particular, is a fantastic asset to SafeLine. She goes above and beyond her role, ensuring that customers receive thorough assistance and insightful advice. During our conversation, she promptly provided me with a trial key for SafeLine's PRO version, which allowed me to explore its full capabilities. Carrie's dedication to customer satisfaction is exemplary, and she even offered to discuss a wildcard SSL feature with the development team.

Technical Capabilities:
From a technical perspective, SafeLine delivers strong, dependable protection. Its detection and mitigation capabilities are comprehensive, and it successfully addresses and patches significant vulnerabilities. Even after a rigorous penetration test, SafeLine was able to safeguard against most of the major threats, which speaks to its robustness and reliability.

The SafeLine control panel is intuitive, offering a broad set of features to configure and fine-tune protection. The panel provides the flexibility needed to manage security settings efficiently, without overwhelming users with unnecessary complexity.

Areas for Improvement:
Currently, SafeLine lacks support for wildcard SSL certificates, which would be a beneficial addition for companies managing multiple subdomains. However, based on my conversation with Carrie, there may be plans to discuss this feature with the development team in the future, which is encouraging.

Summary:
In summary, SafeLine is a well-rounded, powerful WAF solution for companies seeking strong self-hosted protection. It combines solid security features with user-friendly design and a support team that genuinely cares about customer needs. SafeLine meets nearly all of our requirements and provides a level of security that inspires confidence. With the potential for future enhancements, such as wildcard SSL support, it’s an excellent choice for businesses of any size seeking a secure, reliable, and flexible WAF solution.

I was looking for good self-hosted anti-DDoS…

I was looking for good self-hosted anti-DDoS solutions for websites and came across this tool on GitHub. I was pleasantly surprised by all the features it offered, so I decided to give it a try.

After experimenting with it a bit, I liked it and became interested in the paid license. I reached out to Carrie, who kindly provided me with a one-week trial license. Since then, I’ve been in closer contact with Carrie, who has been very helpful and guided me through the integration process in a friendly manner.

Currently, I’m working on a custom integration with my Plesk node, and so far, everything has been quite smooth. Editing the files is straightforward, as is the configuration. Working with the API is also easy because the dashboard is built in such a way that you can quickly and easily incorporate API calls into your solution.

I do miss a few features, but they are constantly adding new ones, and their team is open to new ideas daily.
