Don't bother

Waggel advertise on their website that claims are processed and settled in 14 days. I have now been waiting 7 weeks for them to process payment for my cats end of life care. This is stressful, and leaves us out of pocket and unable to get closure on the passing of our pet.

Whenever I contact them I am met with what seems like an AI chatnot who tells me things are taking a little longer, and when I do eventually get through to a human they tell me they will escalate it with the claims team but give me no update.

Do not use Waggle. They will make what is already a stressful time even worse.

Scammers

Opted not to have policy renewed. They renewed the policy anyway, I've cancelled the policy id did not want or ask for and they will not repay the money they took. Avoid. Terrible company

A company that doesn't pay out

A company that doesn't pay out. Lost a puppy and they aren't accepting my receipt. Should be paying £1,000 for death purchase price and they have paid me £50 which is laughable. Also has taken over 2 months to even get to this stage. Obviously will be getting the full £1,000 off them as they cannot not pay when it's in their terms and conditions. N

Please do not use this company unless…

Please do not use this company unless you are hoping not to have to claim, they have been processing my claim for months, they look for every possible loop hole and even question the authenticity of vet records. My vet who obviously deals day in and out with pet insurance companies said they have never come across anything like it and even going as far as writing them a letter to tell them why their decision are not medically sound. Save yourself the money and the stress when your pet is unwell and use a decent company

Avoid this dog insurance

If I could give zero stars I would. This insurance company is a joke. No communication for 6 weeks I contacted them and they are now doing everything to drag this claim on and looking for excuses not to pay. They say my vets have not sent the details whenever the vets have now sent it twice. They are looking for an excuse not to pay. I’m glad I discovered this now dread to think how they would behave if it was a really large bill. I’m going to cancel this policy and go elsewhere. This is a joke.

Awesome Pet Insurance

I got a pug pure breed puppy July 2024 and looked around for pet insurance i read many bad reviews of people being refused payouts when their pet was ill but one company (waggle) kept coming up with positive reviews about how great they were so i opted for them hoping i would never need to claim unfortunately that moment came 1 day after maxs 1st birthday i very nearly lost him to meningococcal bacteria waggle came to maxs aid and paid out in full the staff were fantastic so supportive and sympathetic and sorted my claim within 4 weeks i highly recommend them they have been absolutely brilliant

I am writing to express my extreme…

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my pet insurance. Unfortunately my experience has been nothing short of terrible and I feel compelled to leave 1star review.
I encountered numerous issues, including claim denials, slow processing times and poor communication. Overall I found out the service to be unreliable and unhelpful, causing unnecessary stress during an already difficult!
I am would not recommend that pet insurance to any other pet owners- waste of time!

I'm trying to make a claim and there saying they haven't got my bank details so it won't let me go any further with my claim. They fine well do have my bank details as I'm paying them every month with my bank account what a joke.

Terrible I booked my staffordshire bull terrier in she's not pedigree to have ears clean I phoned to check if I was insured they said yes they waited 2 weeks after tp say she's a ex bully but I've had molly tested and she's a staffy going to fight this claim and put in papers

Random dates, constant increases.

Hardly ever there, they try to take money out on random dates, and they increase your insurance by about £4 a month every year. Going to just cancel and find somewhere new. The fact that they claim they have a 4.7 out of 5 review on Trustpilot is fraudulent. It's 2.1.

They are charlatans, always finding ways not to pay out a claim. As proactive pet owners, we have always had any lumps aspirated and tested and guess what? They have always come back benign. The one time a lump came back malignant, we had it removed and waggle denied the claim because our dog has had lumps before. What unethical pillocks. Trust me, Many Pets is the way to go, not this sham of an insurance company.

I had insurance for my French Bulldog

I had insurance for my French Bulldog, I sadly lost him at the tender age of 18 months, excellent communication from Waggle through the portal , kind considerate, so helpful , paid out immediately no questions asked as soon as the specialist vets sent over all information, first class service will use again if I replace my beautiful boy 😢xxx
