I live in the U.S. but needed the help of a Solicitor in the UK due to a past change of name issue while I lived there many years ago.
There was a fast approaching deadline for me and Victoria's clear, prompt and very understanding attitude, including dealing with time zone issues, resulted in me receiving the documents via airmail in plenty of time.
Legal processes can be very frustrating but Victoria handled everything perfectly and the whole process was smooth and stress free.

They were almost impossible to contact, frustration from all parties involved in the sale of our property. Continually got our email addresses and names wrong - They had also been sending our correspondence to a bank in Ireland instead of to us!!

Having used Wake Smith for the first time during 2021 for a commercial rental agreement I was extremely happy with their services, particularly with Laura Saul who I found to be very helpful with advice from the very early point of enquiry to starting the process and following through to the completion, I had a clear explanation giving expectations of all next steps, extremely proactive following up on any queries, sending information or general communication, didn’t need chasing and got back to me when promised to do so. I would definitely use them again for any of their legal services. Fees were also a lot better than my experience with other companies and a good few hundred pounds than the Landlords own solicitors fees for their part of the contract.
