Walk with path has given me the…

Walk with path has given me the confidence to step out in public again. Frozen gait was stopping me from doing everyday activities like shopping, meeting for lunch or catching a show. I was afraid and embarrassed about the very likely possibility of experiencing frozen gait while trying to enter a building, or get into an elevator. Stressing over it when I was out made my frozen gait even worse.
Walk with path has changed all that and has taken the stress off. I no longer worry about being able to walk in public places and move through door ways without freezing. I wear them around the house at times when I feel that I am having an issue with mobility. The minute the lasers come on I am able to move without thinking!!
Walk with path has made a big difference for me and I don’t know how I would manage without it.

Walk with Path: Laser guidance systems for humans!

Walk with Path are an example of the best minds coming together to create a highly functional device that has stepped (pardon the pun!) ahead of the pack that have tried lasers to assist Parkinson's -afflicted people - of which I am one - with only limited success.
Other companies efforts with red laser beams and the placement of the projectors gave a very patchy response as it was difficult to point the beams in the appropriate directions to tap into our quirky Parkinson's brains. You normal people out there are always surprised when it is explained that looking at lines or beams projected on the ground and stepping on or over them seems to reset our movement patterns and this helps us to walk more confidently and greatly reduces the incidence of FOG (Freezing of Gait) which pins us to the ground and stops us walking as surely as if we had been given a concrete boot job by the Mafia!
Bright green lasers give us the visual feed we need to overcome this and the beams move into place with every step from tiny projectors that strap onto our shoes. Rechargeable lithium batteries power the beams and I find myself moving with a much greater sense of confidence when using them. I am stopping there because I tried out Path Finder and purchased the units as they really do make a difference - so instead of saying more I recommend you get in touch with them and experience it for yourself. One word of advice: Don't try to think about it when you walk with them, just relax. As Bruce Lee said in Enter the Dragon 'Don't think, feel!' And I feel you will surprise yourself.
The company recently won first place in its category at the EIB Social Impact Tournament in Riga showing it has begun to establish its presence in Europe and as the company gathers feedback from all who purchase Path Finder it will no doubt go on to develop more innovations that assist those of us in the unstable world of Parkinson's!

Highly recommended!

Walk with path gave my father new confidence that he can stay mobile while in the freezing phases during the day and minimising the risk of falling. He would love to have a remote control for switching on/off of the laser in the next model though!

My dad discovered Path Finder from Walk …

My dad discovered Path Finder from Walk With Path by coincidence but is super happy with the product. Path Finder helps him to walk better. He is 82 years old and walks badly due to Parkinson's, but Path Finder enables him to safely walk better - and this is, in his situation, worth a lot!
