I purchased a table that arrived with missing pieces, and I sent them photos and videos to show the issue. Unfortunately, they decided not to take any action. While I believe most people on Wallapop are decent, there are certainly those who sell incomplete items by mistake. However, the app is frustratingly unhelpful when things go wrong, and I wish there were a way to take legal action against them. Sometimes I consider selling incomplete items or using digital misleading photos, since they are not real pictures they won't do anything, so you will get away with it. But ultimately, I am busy now 😩.

So if you want to scam more people in Wallapop use digital misleading photos, since they are not real pictures they can't do anything about, it's actually written in they rules... Make that money 🤑 💰

I was selling used bike parts with 100+ 5 star reviews Then I bought 1 pair of shoes which were the wrong size and sold them again on the platform, the buyer accused me (wrongly on top) that the shoes were fake, and my account got closed without any way of contacting them or even understanding why.
Don't start selling or buying, the customer care is nonexistent and the decisions they take are absolutely arbitrary.

Stole my 40€, blocked my account even though I provided picture of passport. This app is scam, don’t use it

I have collected a parcel on the 4th of december and the item is broken.
I have a proof of collection.
Wallapop´s rep Silvia doesnt even bother to read what I wrote. Blandly tells me that I collected it on 29 of november and marked it good.
I never did either. And I require a FULL REFUND.
It is impossible to deal with this company!!!

Same as other people have experienced. I created a profile and tried to buy a bike, but they locked my account right away after I sent a buy request for one bike.

My order hasn’t arrived and I have not received any refund. On top of it, it’s impossible to get into my account. I thought maybe the issue was my password so I tried to reset it several times but I’ve not received any email to finalize the reset.

Don't use wallapop they ask me the personal details I wrong to write and they ask me the verification and how much I have for to lying me but I don't write how much I have and verification they follow to send m messages and they give excuse like is not they're wallapop is exactly scumer be careful now I'm not sure with my. Card I need to change.. because arrive people like want to buy something but is they're scammers

3 out of 8 of the wifi extenders I have acquired from Wallapop were not working. I flagged this to the seller who committed to send new ones and asked not to rate him. After a month o have not received anything unfortunately and found not rate poorly the seller because apparently any rainy need to be given within 48 hours. I flagged this with Wallapop 3 times with email and internal messages but I received just the email confirming receipt and the commitment to address my query and then nothing at all. I am sorry to say that this is not a safe website, hosts fraudulent sellers and the hen does not protect the buyer

A few days ago I was discussing with the seller in the chat inside Wallapop about buying his bike for my daughter. Everything was going well and we were agreeing to meet until I was kicked out of the app. Then I wrote to the technical support service, which quickly informed me about the violation of some of their rules. According to them, it is impossible to unblock my account. Perhaps the reason was that I wanted to know the seller's phone number to find him when we met. I have no more thoughts. Now think about it. You just want to buy your daughter a bike. Not a weapon, not drugs, not counterfeit money. And you are blocked forever. Without any warnings. I used them for six months and did not expect a catch, I saw how many people in the ads write about calling on WhatsApp. But I was to blame. Be careful with them because you have no right to make a mistake and your money and your data will remain with them.
UPD. Unfortunately, their support service does not try to understand the situation. They only repeat that they blocked me for violating their rules. When I repeatedly asked them to specify which rule was violated, they replied that they would not unblock me under any circumstances anyway :) Most likely, they are all controlled by algorithms. There is no place for a human being there.

I was scammed on an item. I paid the purchased insurance with Wallapop - I created a return and sent the item back right away.
Wallapop is not returning my money. They say that item cannot be delivered due to the person not existing in that address.
I have REPEATEDLY tried to contact wallapop, their emails don't work, and the links in the app don't work.
Will never purchase again. Do not recommend.

I created an account and topped up my wallet with my Card. Then suddenly I couldn't login anymore and contacted support. They told me that I violated terms without telling me what I am accused of doing. Meanwhile, my almost 500 EUR I topped up are still on Wallapop and despite like 10 emails, they don't help me at all. If they don't give me back MY money, I will conduct legal action and make sure many people will know about how wallapop treats its customers.

I was locked by their system two times during the last two days when I just wanted to contact seller about their product. As a result i was looking bad to those sellers and they banned me so I lost the opportunity to buy an item that I was looking for during two months. Maybe it's part of their stupid anti-scam system, but what it does in real life is locking down regular users while scammers still able to foolish people.
Their support at the first time resolved this very fast in chat, telling me that their system mistakenly locked me down. But for the second time they transferred the conversation to email and ignoring me now.
I think the platform became a place for scammers and due to that they make their system so much aggressive so it's almost impossible now to the real sellers and buyers contact each other and not being locked due to false positive security system evaluation. Real shame

Never had one sale with it. Also I am from Italy, but I only got messages from spanish people, despite I specified clearly that I did not ship abroad. And I received a lot of spam/abusive messages in the chat. I tried the app, very horrible and badly engineered, to the point that you must still do a lot of things thru the regular web browser. Very disappointed.

server errors, unresponsive maps, impossible login...what's happening here, is there any oversight? Why is this site allowed to exist?

Bought a monitor and was broken when it arrived, and Wallapop sided with buyer (I even provided them with photo and video proof).

Tooks weeks to get an answer for the dispute and then they sent a basic generic email saying "im sorry for your bad experience, but it's not possible for us to accept your request"

Basically dumped 220€ in the trash bin

Edit: I responded to Wallapop after they replied to my review asking for more information. They just ghosted me of course.

Bad... I create an account to buy a Bicicleta then I messaged the seller immediately my account got deleted

Used similar apps in a few countries and cna confirm that wallapop is worst app ever.

I've got deactivation of my account with about 10 sold/bought items and average rating 5.0. With NO explanation or even an email! Just had an issue when tried tolog in and got the reply about deactivation when got answer from "support". And I even had some money on their wallet!

SCAM, go to Vinted, eBay or similar platform. "Support" does not support as well - no explanation (except stadnart scripts), no support, no help at all! 100% of dissapointment.

Worst app to use if you wanna sell or buy.
I posted 3 things and got several messages of these things being sold, but they were scams. They almost got me because i was literally writing my card credentials. Unfortunately, I'm new to this app and knew nothing about the selling process. I have used other apps to sell things but never encountered such a thing. These scams they run rampant on this app. Used it for 15 minutes because i was so confused and really thought i had sold my stuff. Never will use it again. Too many scams and scam messages, 5 within 2 mins of posting.

Wallpop close the email conversation after providing me misleading information about the return process. They deleted my messages in the App to Block me from further request. STILL WAITING THE PROPER INFO TO GET MY REFUND. TO BUT ONLINE USING THEIR PRODUCT. LIAR. LADRONES. AND UNPROFESSIONAL !!!

UPDATE. My money came back a few days later but again with no sign from Wallapop. Thay never notified me with any problem with the order, they silently removed it from my profile.

I made a payment for a smartphone and my order still has a 'confirmed' status in the chat with the seller at the date of this review.
But then i noticed that the smartphone i bought is available for buying again and after proceding into the details of the order i saw that the order had been cancelled by wallapop without any notification or refund! The last email i have from them also says that the order is ok but on the platform it's not even in the list of my purchases anymore!
