Stay away, scammy website that does not work
I tried this site to humanize a text flagged as AI, but the humanizer doesn't work. The text it gives you is meaningless, with random words and completely incoherent. Also, they don't give refunds, so it's basically a rip-off for a product that doesn't work.

Worst tool to use for ai detection
Not only did I use it once and stopped immediately as it got caught by copyleaks , gptzero etc, I forgot to cancel the subscription, got in contact with the team 2 minutes after I saw it renew and yet no refund at all. Other services at least provided a refund if not a partial refund . Horrible tool that changes the meaning of the whole paragraph/text and words to oblivion. Do not recommend and still want my refund back. Ridiculous.
Edit for the ignorant reply below:
The lack of reporting to you in the first place and the fact I only used it once is further proof I found your tool to be useless compared to those on the market. As for your shady terms when it comes to your dodgy refund policy it's exactly that. Seeing as you think I posted a negative review about your product because I did not get my refund is stupid and you're assuming. I was going to review it badly due to the shady refund policy, but thought I would also give me honest thoughts on the product .
It changes the sentences in a way that the work or paragraph becomes unrecognisable , putting random phrases that never existed or changing t so much it's unrecognisable . Furthermore it adds grammatical mistakes , add that with random words unrelated to the content at hand and of course it may show up as undetectable, which also , was not the case. Copyleaks, GPTZero and ZeroGPT as well as Sapling, 4 of the most trusted ai detectors either detected 25 to 90% with 3 of them being over 90% . This tool is as much of a joke as the sad refund policy is and the stupid assumptions you have made by writing down such a reply below.

Deceptive and hardly functional
Seems to utilise some kind of thesaurus program to seemingly change terms to synonyms arbitrarily. It always destroys the readability and semantic meaning of any text input.
Also, they lead you to believe that your text is checked for AI against other AI detection databases by showing checkboxes that confirm the text will not trigger turnitin, gptzero and other detection programs. This is not the case, if you submit the re-written text to any of these other programs, they easily detect it as AI.
This is highly deceptive. Only in the small print you find that they do not actually check with these other programs and instead only use their own algorithm.

Walter AI’s practices are unethical and, frankly, border on being a scam
My experience with Walter AI has been extremely negative, especially when it comes to their refund policy and customer support. I initially signed up hoping for a quality service, but the product did not meet my expectations at all. When I tried to get a refund after the first month because of the poor quality, I was told that I wasn’t eligible—despite reaching out right after an auto-renewal charge that I didn’t intend. It had been less than an hour since the payment, but they still refused, saying their 3-day refund policy only applies to the very first payment, never to renewals. This is never made clear upfront; their vague wording tricks customers into thinking they might be eligible, but in reality, almost nobody is.
To make matters worse, when I contacted customer support, I was promised help but never actually received any. The support team only responded with canned excuses or shut down the conversation, sometimes ignoring clear policy criteria that should have allowed a refund. This isn’t just my situation—many users have reported the exact same thing: misleading charges, terrible customer care, and a refund system designed to avoid actually issuing refunds.
Walter AI’s practices are unethical and, frankly, border on being a scam. I’ll be sharing my story with my friends in the academic YouTube community to ensure others don’t fall into the same trap. This service should be avoided by anyone who values honesty and transparency in business.

They won't let you use their API, even if you ask
I asked them several times to provide me their API access. Mentioning that as I'm in the tech industry, I could be of help. They refused. In any platform I worked with or founded, I've denied a user who wanted to be involved. That's a HUGE red flag from their leadership, culture, and team.

Disappointing results — be cautious before committing
I really wanted Walter AI to work, but my experience has been very disappointing. While the tool does seem to help content pass AI detection, it does so by changing words and phrases in ways that often don’t make sense or simply don’t fit the sentence. The result is text that feels unnatural and awkward — especially for website copy. If I came across content like this on a site, I’d honestly find it off-putting as a visitor.
To make matters worse, the refund policy is very restrictive. Even though the output was poor quality and unusable for me, I wasn’t eligible for a refund under their terms. Thankfully, I had only paid for a single month — but I nearly signed up for a year, and I would have felt very cheated if I had.
My advice: if you’re considering this tool, test it on a monthly plan first before committing to anything long-term.

Ban account without reason
It produces good content and AI detection rate, but they banned my account without any objective reason and didn't return the money I paid for subscription. Don't recommend this service because of that

Refused Refund Despite Meeting Their Own Terms. Avoid‼️
Walter Writes AI refused to refund my subscription even though I met the exact criteria they claim to honor. I didn’t use the tool at all during the billing cycle and reached out promptly to request a refund. Their own policy says refunds are possible if the tool hasn’t been used. Yet, they ignored that and fell back on generic excuses like “you forgot to cancel.”
I didn’t ask for a refund because I was unhappy with the results… I literally didn’t use the service. Instead of addressing this fairly, they shut down the conversation and refused to help. It feels like they rely on technicalities and canned responses to deny legitimate refund requests.
If you’re thinking of subscribing, be warned: they don’t stand by their own terms, and once they have your money, you’re on your own. Not worth the risk.

Heads up if you’re thinking about trying Walter AI.
I gave it a shot because I was curious — the tool itself is actually fine. It does what it’s supposed to: generates decent content, works fast, and has a clean interface. I used it to help outline some blog posts and emails, and for basic stuff like that, it did the job. Nothing mind-blowing, but definitely usable.
But here’s where things went sideways…
I forgot to cancel before the renewal date, and they charged me immediately — no reminder, no warning, nothing. I contacted support literally the same day, thinking they’d be reasonable since I didn’t use the service after it renewed. Nope. Their response was basically, “Sorry, all sales are final. No refunds.”
I get that policies are policies, but most legit services at least send you a heads-up before billing or offer a short grace period. Walter AI does neither, which honestly makes it feel like they’re banking on people forgetting to cancel. That part really rubbed me the wrong way.
So yeah — the AI works. It’s decent. But the way they handle subscriptions feels a bit shady. If you try it, set a calendar reminder to cancel, because once that auto-renew hits, your money’s

A Complete Failure in Functionality/Service
Note: I used 2,000 credits, roughly 3.5% of the 55,000 credits. Despite this limited usage and then to detect their tool’s failure, their support team falsely accused me of “excessive” use. It’s worth noting that they intentionally restrict how much text you can use to try tempting you to subscribe. I strongly recommend reading all reviews carefully, both on and beyond Trustpilot before deciding to invest in this product.
I definitely do not recommend Walter Wright’s AI tool. While it claims to humanize AI-generated text and does pass AI detection, the quality of the output is extremely poor. The tool completely alters your content, jumbling sentences into incoherent and disorganized paragraphs. It removes punctuation, disrupts structure, and makes the writing sound childish and unreadable.
I tried multiple settings.. simple, standard, and “enhanced”, but none produced usable results. I contacted support with to review clear examples of the tool’s failure, but they seem uninterested and refuse to offer a refund, despite the obvious flaws.
This tool does not work as promised and offers no real value. Be cautious, they will not refund you if you’ve used even a small portion of your credits, even if the results are unusable. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Terrible product, borderline scam
Product works terribly, just puts heaps of grammatical errors and destroys the readability to pass ai detectors.
Their refund system is also scammy, inaccurate usage tracking then they don't give refunds because of it. Stay away

Deceptive Pricing
Deceptive Pricing, Refused Refund Even After Immediate Request!
I signed up for Walter Wright AI believing I would be charged $11 per month, as that was bolded on their pricing page. Nowhere was it made clear that I’d be billed $132 upfront for the entire year. When I saw the unexpected charge, I contacted them within an hour to request a refund—but they refused.
Their excuse? They claimed I had exceeded their 1,500-word usage limit, even though I only used it once for a single essay less that 1,500 words. Their usage tracking system is inaccurate, and they use it as a loophole to deny refunds.
After looking into it, I found that many other users have been tricked the same way—misleading charges, terrible customer support, and unfair refund policies. This company is clearly using deceptive practices to lock people into annual subscriptions.
If you’ve been scammed the same way, I highly recommend disputing the charge with your bank. Walter Wright AI is not transparent, and their business practices are shady. Avoid this service!

Terrible
I spent a ridiculous amount of money on this app. The AI detection is all fake. When I type text it generates undetectable AI. However, I use the undetectable AI text and use the AI detection of this system, it show the text is detected AI. Shoutout to this website for the comedy gold. Keep up the comedy work!

Refund sucks
I recently had an unpleasant experience with Walter Writes AI regarding their refund policy. After being charged for a subscription renewal, I reached out for a refund, only to be told that their 3-day refund policy applies strictly to the initial subscription purchase, not renewals.
The major issue? Nowhere in their policy does it explicitly state that the refund period applies only to the initial purchase or that it doesn't reset with each renewal. The policy simply mentions a 3-day refund, which led me to believe it applied to all charges, including renewals.
Despite my polite request and logical reasoning, they stuck to their vague terms and refused the refund. They did cancel my subscription to avoid future charges, but the lack of transparency in their policy and the rigid stance left a sour taste.
If you're considering using Walter Writes AI, be cautious about their refund terms. What you see isn’t always what you get.
I don’t recommend
I am really unhappy with this service and have not used it in about a month. It was never useful for my particular writing and I mistakenly forgot about auto renewal but believed I had within three days and 1500 words to get a refund. Customer support was not understanding and refused to give me a refund. Please avoid and find a different service. The few times I did try this service, it managed to pass AI detectors by incorporating edits that didn’t make sense. With the slightest change of those edits, it would no longer pass.
