I've worn Warby Parker glasses since 2021. No issues with the frames etc. However I recently took frames into local store to get new lenses. From 7/23 order date until expected delivery notificatio... See more

Terrible quality lenses
The selection is on point. The service is excellent. The quality is the absolute worst. I purchased 2 pairs of glasses and both pairs give me a headache. They did not measure properly. They would not fix the lenses. They would not make any adjustments whatsoever. I am out $700. Terrible follow up. I got better quality at Lens Crafters.
They don’t back their workmanship
A defect in coating caused it to peal from the lense and because its just slightly over one year, Warby Parker said “tough luck”. So our $500 glasses are trash and they don’t give a #%^*+. I have spent thousands of dollars on WP glasses over the years. They will not get one more red cent out of me. Terrible business practice.
Customer Service Better Than The Rest
I have ordered glasses from many companies two of which were Target Optical and RayBan. There have been situations arise where I have had to return my glasses and the process is excruciating. With Warby Parker I got in touch with their customer service (on chat - which other companies is mainly just a robot) and they got my problem fixed (which was not their fault) in less than 10 minutes. They are even allowing me to wait to return my current glasses until the new one's get here at no extra charge. Their customer service is fantastic.
I have also had nothing but great experiences when it comes to their at home try-on program.
Only reason I am giving 4 stars is because I have not had a chance to wear and use their glasses yet.
Not Affordable
Not sure how $100 can be considered affordable for glasses when $7 glasses exist elsewhere. Their glasses aren't any more special than the actual affordable brands.
Spam Email
Warby Parker participates in spam email advertising. Block the email and they just use another address.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Glasses didn’t arrive in time as promised then they refused to ship them (having said they would). They then promised to keep them in store for me until an agreed collection date, but when I went to get them they’d got rid of them. They then tried saying they’d already refunded me (they hadn’t), then when they did actually refund me they didn’t refund me enough. When I asked them to rectify this they wrote “We are not able to refund any additional funds at this time.
All refunds have already been processed. I apologize for any discrepancies.” Pretty unbelievable!
The Old Town Alexandria Virginia shop makes shopping for eyeglasses a pleasure
The Old Town Alexandria Virginia shop on King Street is amazing. Three, maybe five years now it's been my go to. This time, I'd just received my new Joaquin glasses in the mail and I went to the store where Diana sized them for me.
From the get go, the experience was outstanding. I didn't get the name of the guy who greeted me at the shop door, but he took my email and got me in the queue. That meant the hyper-aggressive who tried to line-jump actually had to wait her turn; and Diana was super diplomatic about preserving the rule of the queue. First come, first served, even in a town like Alexandria, Virginia, where privilege rules.
When she started working on sizing my frames Diana was clearly fully and positively engaged in her craft. While I'm happy to shop on line, this kind of brick and mortar experience makes all the difference, and it's the reason I keep relying on Warby Parker for my glasses. Thanks, Diana; thanks guy at the front door!
INVENTORY ALL WRONG AND OUT OF DATE!
INVENTORY ALL WRONG AND OUT OF DATE!
I visited a few places in New York city and their inventory is all wrong! On the phone they say they have particular sunglasses at the store on display and in the inventory, but when I visit they did not have the pair I was looking for!
Disappointing
so wanted this to be a less expensive alternative...unfortunately, it's more a get what you pay for disappointment. The frames are not designed to fit any human face...and that's if you happen to live somewhere near a WP store. Despite countless visits, there's no way to make WP frames fit an actual human face. I can not imagine the horror of depending entirely on online delivery. But I'm sure the founders and early investors made lots of money, and well, let's face it...that's where were are now.
I have used WARBY alot
I have used WARBY alot. Last 3 pair of glasses were from them. Progressive/Transitions. Love the convenience. However, I have come to the conclusion that they are cheaper because they use crappy lenses. I just bought a pair of glasses from a regular optician and got high end lenses. The difference is stunning. The cost is 50% more…..but stunning.
RUN... FAST... away from Warby Parker!!!!!!!
If I could give Warby Parker a negative 10, I would. One star is MUCH too generous!!! DO NOT buy from Warby Parker, unless you're okay with throwing your money away for nothing! I paid $345 and have been waiting for my glasses for almost 3 weeks now. The whole "7-10" days until you get your order is a bald-faced lie!!! And when I try to contact them for help, I get NO help!!! No one can seem to figure out the issue with my order and at one point, I was told that I didn't have an account, muchless an order (even though I have an order #)!!!! I've complained to Paypal (who I purchased the glasses through), so hopefully I will get my money back, though not expecting that to happen! In an economy where $345 is like $10,000 to many of us who are struggling to just afford groceries, this is yet one more company scamming the American people!! So pissed!!!!!!!!!!!!

Went to store to place order
Went to store to place order. Have prescription and asked if they could put in sunglasses. Said yes took my $ and placed order. Later received email that it wasn’t possible. Sent a return email and called customer service and approved change. They never started and blamed me for the confusion. Almost a month later still don’t have.
Worst company I have ever ordered glasses from
7-10 day delivery is a blatant lie, the definition of false advertising. I ordered my glasses January 26th and they were not delivered until almost a month after my order was placed
I contacted customer service prior to my glasses even being shipped asking if they would arrive on time, I was assured they would. I contacted them again after they were shipped the day they were supposed to arrive to see if they expedited my order, they did not. they were the most unhelpful and rude people I have talked to. They don’t care about you, they just want your money.
No discount was given to me and they had the audacity to make it seem like it was my fault, using language like “you should have ordered sooner if you wanted them by that date” or “I hate to be the bearer of bad news”
Don’t order from this scummy website unless you want to be treated like a toddler/wait a month for your glasses (not 7-10 days)
Warby Parker service has gone downhill…
Warby Parker service has gone downhill big time! Setting customer expectations that are false. Systems that report wrong information. Everyone is very apologetic but it would be better if they just got their act together! I’m done with Warby Parker
Late and badly set.
Just received (1/31) a pair of prescription eyeglasses I ordered 15 business days ago. Multiple calls to customer service could not tell me why my glasses were delayed or at what date they would be ready as their lab doesn’t share that type of information.
More for the worst part of the experience: the right lens (high index) is badly set outside the frame and sticking out.
Warby Parker prides itself in “checking” thoroughly their finished products. In my case they definitely skipped the quality control.
Home try on fail
I had ordered a home try on from them, but it got lost in the mail and never arrived. Customer service said they would handle it and I was fine to cancel the try on, BUT one month later they charged me $700 for it! At least they refunded it, but that shouldn't have ever happened. So annoying.
Pathetic
Pathetic. Spent 2 weeks sending photos of pupillary distance, even got on a 3way call with an opthalmologist, where afterwards the doctor and I stayed on the line and just said, "that was a very weird interaction, right?" They never figured out how to make very simple lenses. Disgusted with wasted time and lack of expertise. Don't waste your time.
A Knot of Discombobulation
The store I visited in Long Beach has been high stress and low production for me. The staff is drifty and wanders around the store, with no clear system for helping folks who come in. There is a great deal of pretense (thanks for the ART books while I sit for 30 minutes on a hard bench, waiting for service) and little production. I saw a form on their "REFERENCE DESK," which holds not dictionaries but some staff member who may be able to fit you in. Each shop is given a production number -- theirs was over $7,000 -- to hit for the day, by hook or crook. I felt like a slightly mobile dollar sign. No one there seems to have the entire picture. I signed up for a consult on contact lenses, completed the obligatory form, also indicating a need for lenses, and the optometrist started by asking me why I was there. I was given a price of $40-$50, then charged $75 because sometime in the future, they would give me a "fitting." The experience made me want to stab myself in the eye so I would not have to come back.
Miserable customer service
Miserable customer service. My glasses broke after two months, and the only way to repair them is to take a four-hour round-trip road trip. There is no way to leave a review actually on the site for anything, despite them quoting/listing multiple "customer reviews", so I am leaving it here. I will never do business with Warby Parker again.
