SoNo Collection WP has the most understanding staff!

Shawn from the Warby Parker in SoNo Collection in CT had so much patience with me. I was absolutely having a meltdown because I’d lost my glasses in the ocean. I feel awful that I was crying in the middle of the store but I couldn’t help that unfortunately. I’ve never lost a prescription pair of glasses before, especially when none of my options were really viable. It probably didn’t help that I have a sentimental tie to the glasses I lost and we’d just been to that location prior so I wasn’t expecting that I would lose them when I was just swimming with them just days prior. That being said his service was fantastic and his demeanor was warm and comforting in my scrambling.

That being said he was so so so helpful with just working with me. Wholeheartedly recommend him and I hope he’s not stressing himself out and running himself ragged. Thanks so much, you’re a real lifesaver. I would like to note this is my first time even going to a Warby Parker!

Poor customer service

Purchased glasses in June and have yet to receive them, I had to cancel my order. I called to get a status in June, I was informed the glasses did not pass quality inspection and they had to be returned. I called a few weeks later, in July, was given that same response, they did not come in as of yet. Today, I called again and they still have not come. Order was then cancelled...UNACCEPTABLE that I had to place a call. A call should have been placed to the consumer letting them know they could not fulfill the order.

WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER

I have never had a more convoluted and frustrating process of *NOT* receiving sunglasses in my life. I go to multiple stores and they say they’re out and they can’t even check if nearby stores have them, then I finally order online. The sunglasses get shipped to my parcel locker before being removed and sent back according to tracking. Then I have to call to get the sunglasses ordered again to a new address. Then a few days later, I get an email saying they don’t have my glasses anymore and the style is never coming back. So now I wasted 2 weeks of my time and $100. Worst sunglasses company ever

I went to the pentagon city location…

I went to the pentagon city location and the optician said I needed to go to an ophthalmologist because I had signs of macular degeneration that could lead to blindness. I went to an ophthalmologist and learned there was nothing wrong with my eyes. The ophthalmologist also said the prescription warby Parker wrote was wrong. My experience was horrible. Sure their lenses are cute and trendy but judging from my experience they are dangerously incompetent.

Run unless you're a masochist

I've mistakenly created 2 accounts with Warby Parker and even though it has been the source of multiple mistakes by the many careless employees and optometrists, they refuse to merge my two accounts.

The last time I went in to get a new script (12/2023) I repeated the correct email address to the optometrist multiple times and yet she STILL put my prescription on the wrong account causing me to receive my old prescription in my new frames. I even asked her to come out and look at the computer when the employee pulls up my script to make sure it's correct and she came out and just stood there, did nothing and made me feel like I'm bothering her and asking too much. Imagine. For eye glasses that I need to be correct after the myriad of mistakes in their track record.

They don't show you which optometrists have worked with you in your account profile so you can't keep track of who is making the mistakes. Long story short, I went through hell trying to get the correct script after transferring it to ALSO be included in the correct account with all the other info they need so I can have my new script. This optometrist even told me my old glasses didn't have the correct script she sees in the computer. Who knows what happened there but they never felt right.

Since then, the beginning of 2024, I've been going into the store regularly to have the new frames with the new script adjusted because two days later, they get loose again.

Today, 08/10/24, I waited 45 minutes at the Glendale store to get my glasses adjusted. The Optician Mario Lozano tells me that my glasses are awaiting return and that I've been refunded the amount and there's a note to take them from me. The he said "of course I won't do that" and goes on to ask me what I need. I tell him my glasses keep falling off and I've had them adjusted 5 times. He says he's really good and when I say I've actually had him adjust them in the past too, maybe I rubbed him the wrong way? During the adjustment I attempted to find out why my account has a note that I need to return the glasses & asked him if he sees the re-order with the lighter glasses because they were already returned and re-ordered. And out of NOWHERE he very aggressively says "didn't you see what I showed you?". I'm afraid I took the bait & responded just as aggressively. At one point I held back tears and maybe if I wasn't so embarrassed to be vulnerable in public, I would have been treated better by the two men. It escalated from there. Mario Lozano was completely unprofessional and wouldn't work with me to get to the bottom of yet another mistake they've made. I never received a refund on the second pair because I never intended on returning them and didn't want that record sitting there. It's also odd that all this time when I've had adjustments, no one has brought up this note.

Unfortunately the 20 something "manager" Irving, did nothing to help. He didn't see the way Mario lost his patience with a customer out of nowhere. It was just one question that set him off. When I mentioned to Irving that I waited a long time to get my adjustment done and it's not finished (because Mario eventually walked away), he told me I should go to Pasadena where they don't have a long wait and that I should just get new frames because mine are too wide. First, thanks for the info after all these adjustments and after letting me buy them in the first place. I doubt that's true anyway. Next, that kind of provocative attitude should get him fired. I walked out of there without having a proper adjustment after driving 15 minutes, paying for parking and waiting 45 minutes. He should be fired along with the optician.

I can't believe I've put up with all their mistakes since 2018. I've never seen an organization this scattered and this unprofessional when it comes to health care. This is eye care and it involves doctors. Employees should be trained to be extra careful with customer records and they certainly shouldn't hire Opticians who have anger issues and managers who don't care. I can't believe how I was treated.

Not for those with severe myopia

If you have severe myopia (>-6 diopters) steer well clear of Warby Parker. Their ‘high index’ lenses are sub standard and are not manufactured with any degree of quality control. Multiple pairs of glasses delivered with lenses that not only are misaligned but also under correct. Additionally, Warby Parker’s AR coatings are awful and significantly impact visual acuity in high index lenses.

Incredible Experience

I'm writing to share my incredibly positive experience at your 4475 Roswell Road Marietta, GA location yesterday. I was thoroughly impressed with the service I received.

First, I had an eye exam, which was very good. Dr. was knowledgeable and thorough, which gave me confidence in the service provided.

Then your representative Shanice took over. She was nothing short of spectacular in giving me amazing service. Not only did we explore all options of lens replacements vs. new frames, but she took the time to go into the back room to bring out new and other frame styles per my stated preferences. Shanice's exceptional service, her well-informed and knowledgeable approach, and her professional and arresting personality truly made my experience memorable.

Her colleagues Dior and Saxony were excellent as well, contributing to my experience.

In a world where many people only wish to complain or criticize, we operate under a different philosophy. When someone goes above and beyond to truly exhibit excellent service, it’s our obligation to inform the company's home office.

Please be sure to share this with the chain of management, eventually reaching your 4475 Roswell Road location.

Unfriendly and unhelpful staff

I went to look for glasses at Warby Parker Sagemore in marlton NJ and asked where the men’s glasses were. The immediate response was they are all unisex. I replied that that is fine but can you steer me towards men’s frames. Her response was glasses don’t have a gender and resumed her conversation with a coworker. I fully intended to buy glasses there but walked out and went to LensCrafters where they had no problem helping me out.

Poor Customer Service

I was 8 minutes late for my appointment at the Pentagon City location. I was informed by the store clerk that the optometrist would not see me because I was late and I had not completed the pre check in form. I explained to the store clerk that I was not a new patient. He informed me that the optometrist still denied to see me. Fortunately, there is a Visionwork in the mall on the upper level. I was seen within 5 minutes of walking in without an appointment. I would never book an appointment with the Pentagon City location. Unbelievable.

RUN away from this horrible company

RUN away from this horrible company! Ordered product on 4/10/2024 - (3) pairs of glasses for over $1,000. Guaranteed delivery within 7 business days. Day 7 today. Had to call the company to find out there was manufacturing defect in (2) pairs. They have no idea when they will deliver these (2) pairs now even though they are holding my money. Asked them why they would not expedite the manufacturing and put my defective glasses ahead of other orders???? The Customer Service Manager to me: "Because you should be GLAD we held your order and didn't ship defective glasses. YOUR order is just one of thousands. We make 98% of glasses correctly. YOUR order is just a 'perfect storm' so just be glad we didn't ship them." Seriously? What the Living F*, Warby Parker?! Cancelled my order and returned all the the products. HORRRIBLE COMPANY AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I love their product and pricing

I love their product. Great price, good fashion, and easy to get delivered.

The main pain points are that they don't accept all insurances, and they don't fix old glasses by replacing lens. It's such a waste that new frame is almost the same as getting an old pair replaced.

Otherwise, I am a big fan of them

Excellent Customer Service

I have had nothing but positive experiences with Warby Parker. The first frame I ordered was too big and the nose pads were uncomfortable. They happily accepted the return in exchange for a different pair, which sadly ended up being too small. Again, they accepted the return and shipped out my exchange pair the next day! I also ordered a second pair that I've already received and I love. I've never seen such quick service from an online glasses retailer. Normally, I receive my glasses from them within 9 days, sometimes even faster.
Admittedly, my prescription is not particularly strong, so I'm able to go with the polycarbonate lenses. Haven't had a problem with the prescription at all, which is more than I can say for other retailers who've gotten the prescription basically right, but sometimes with a very narrow range in the lens through which I can see comfortably. With the lenses from WB, I've had no issues with distortion or strain.
I enjoy the at-home try on (which wasn't available for the first two pairs that I had to exchange, otherwise I'd have used it), and I was able to settle on a pair I know will fit my face and look great because of that feature.
The app is great too. The virtual try on is pretty accurate, give or take a couple millimeters maybe.
And they accept my vision insurance without me needing to submit to my insurance company for reimbursement. They apply the insurance to replacements too. It makes the experience very easy and I appreciate that.
Over all, I really like Warby Parker and am excited to get more glasses from them. I've even got my husband interested in getting some frames from them as well!

Frames are very fragile

A pair of prescription sunglasses that I purchased less than 4 years ago fell on the floor and the frames cracked in half. I kept them in a case when I’m was not wearing them and took good care of my glasses. The store was able to put the lenses back into a new frame of the same type but charged me as much as a new pair would have cost including lenses. This was a rip-off price and they did not issue an apology. They explained that their glasses are biodegradable which was a quite obvious!

Terrible experience

I should have Goggled Warby this morning before thinking my experience in the Georgetown Wash DC store was the norm . . . . turns out nope !

~ 6 mos ago I was in Georgetown shopping with my daughter. Turned into a bright shiny day (I left my sunglasses at home in Richmond). I saw Warby store, jumped in found a pair, bought them. The very helpful associate asked if I wanted the glasses fitted with my prescription; I declined as I needed to get on the road before traffic kicked in.

I have worn the Warbys only a couple of times as I regularly wear my prescription sunglasses.

Just had my annual eye exam, figured it was time to get the prescription added to my Warbys as they are comfortable. I browsed their website and see the opportunity to have glasses in RX for ~ $ 90

I take my Warbys to the new store in Short Pump mall. The woman at the desk tells me their store was not allowed to put RX lens in my Warby frames.

So I guess it’s all about the $$$$$$. They had people helping fit glasses and their optician was on-site. So my takeaway is they’ll gladly fit lens in a brand new pair of frames but if they didn’t make the sale I guess it’s no.

Anyway I left my glasses at the counter told them to toss ‘em in the trash.

I won’t darken another Warby door again.

I will probably not go back

I will probably not go back. I scheduled appointments for me and my daughter online at the same time. When we arrived (January 25, 2024) they had a record of my daughter’s, but not mine “initially.” Then I asked one gentleman how long it would take to receive our glasses and was told “about 7 to 10 days.” After our exams and once we were checking out, the lady said our glasses would be delivered “no later than February 8”…so I planned to come back then. Come February 8 we show up to pick up our glasses and they only had my daughter’s order. I received no notification that my order was going to be delayed or that there was even an issue with my order. The guy working the counter couldn’t tell me why my glasses weren’t in and did confirm that “yes they definitely should’ve been here.” He told me he would call me once they arrived…but again, couldn’t tell me why they weren’t there to begin with or when they’d be in. I left feeling blown off. Next day, I called corporate to check the status of my order and spoke to a woman who ended up placing me on “a brief hold so I check into this for you”….5 minutes or so later the call was disconnected on their end. Rude. I called back and spoke to a guy who after looking into it stated “I can’t tell you exactly what happened, but all I know is for lack of a better term the order slipped through the cracks and the order was refreshed on the 7th.” He stated that he would look into an eta and email the information to me. I was appreciative and grateful to at least have some explanation. I never received an email from him. Fast forward to February 12. I received an email that my order was in. I picked my glasses up February 13 and was probably the “best” service I had in the entire ordeal. Not one employee that I dealt with followed through on their word to me. I got no update throughout the process without me fishing for it and despite being told I would be by a couple people. Disappointing and almost nonexistent “good” customer service.

Genuinely the best experience I…

Genuinely the best experience I could’ve asked for. It was quick, I got updates along the way, and they painlessly replaced the first pair I ordered that didn’t fit well.

The glasses also feel really well made. I ordered them because my ray bans broke after a month and their support is awful. Was left without glasses for months because of them- Until my Warby Parker ones arrived. I still don’t have usable ray bans AND had to pay them additional money :(

You have gained me as a lifelong customer :)
