The work was decent, however I felt the exterior cleaning was a bit lacking and needed a lot of guidance.

Even after they left there were quite a few unclean spots on the bonnet and the front bumper (which considering the amount paid is unacceptable).

The interior cleaning was great though.

Overall I felt the job was acceptable but would expect more from the job, the people were friendly.

Booked you for today between 3pm / 4pm to do Alloys on my car! Waited in all day for you to turn up! No communication whatsoever scam company paid a deposit, tried to contact you through the email booking form and nothing, no reply!!!!!!

First time using this service. Easy booking process. Original technician selected cancelled the day before. Thankfully Wash Doctors found a replacement. Really impressed the car is now sparkling. Will definitely use this service again.

Fabio stayed in touch when he was caught in traffic, so despite being later than expected, there were no issues. He did the job cleanly and efficiently. No issues at all. The company stayed in touch and was flexible when required when I had to change the date of the work.

In August 2025 I paid £600 for a premium mobile valet and machine polish on my BMW 840i. The machine polish was incomplete, the interior was streaked, and most significantly my perforated leather seat was damaged during the service. I pointed this out to the technician immediately before he left, and he denied it.

When I complained to Wash Doctors, rather than taking responsibility they deflected blame onto the third party contractor they'd sent to do the work - essentially saying 'nothing to do with us.' This despite the fact that I'd booked and paid Wash Doctors directly.

To their credit, they did send a second technician to rectify the substandard machine polish - which itself proves the original work was unacceptable. However, when it came to the seat damage they refused to accept responsibility, offering only £112.50 towards a £270 repair. Notably, their own second technician confirmed the seat damage existed but said it couldn't be restored to its original condition.

I took this seriously enough to file a small claims court case, which was scheduled for a hearing. I ultimately withdrew when I realised it would come down to my word against theirs - I had no photos of the seats beforehand. Though I'd ask: who on earth takes photos of their car interior before a valet?

The reason this review is so late is that I spent months going through that entire process - complaints, negotiations, mediation, and court - hoping for a fair resolution that never came.

What makes this worse is that a professional valet I used subsequently examined the seats and identified that the damage was caused by steam cleaning at too high a temperature - essentially melting the leather. This is far more extensive damage than I originally realised. This is not a minor rip - it's thermal damage caused by negligent use of equipment.

Nearly a year on, the damage is visible every single time I get in my car. An expensive lesson. Avoid if you value your vehicle. I felt people should realise that's what they're risking if they use this company.

Pre booking was easy. I had a few questions as I hadn’t used the company before and they were all answered honestly & efficiently.

I had an issue on the day of my repair and my reasons for needing to reschedule were accepted without hesitation and luckily my repair was rebooked for the following day.

Fabio arrived on time and worked for 3 hours, in the scorching heat of the hottest day year, stopping only when I insisted he did so for water breaks.

The repair to my car was incredible and I would have no hesitation recommending Washdoctors - I am delighted to have found them and whilst I hope I never have a need for them in the future, I would not hesitate to use them again, if I do!!
