Great changing facilities however usual classes been moved venue and cancelling as more of a travel. Teacher could show more enthusiasm given she is working with babies I expected a little more. Also parking can sometimes be an issue.

She has at times slowed in progression re skill but has always grown confidence and safety in the water due to what she learns each week
Sessions can be limited re times/location which can be problematic with those working and the catch up sessions aren’t always available, hence the 4stars

The wonderful teacher, Joe, makes the experience the great thing that it is - she couldn't possibly do anything more. Joe knows ALL the babies by name, she encourages by word and by example, she uses many strategies to inspire and encourage the little ones to relax and be confident and happy. Always smiling. The pool (at IB Leisure) is a very comfortable 31° never less - very important for me as i get cramp in cold water. The facilities at the centre and clean and the showers are good. Im very pleased i chose Water Babies to teach my baby grandaughter.

We love our babies swimming lessons, we have been taking him since 4 month old, learning underwater skills and safety from day one! Highly recommend

Niki is brilliant, really friendly and enthusiastic. She adapts each session for each babies ability but is also really reassuring for parents who maybe anxious. My baby has really built her confidence with the water while she’s been there. She looks forward to it every week and can’t wait to continue our water babies journey.

Jemma has made our water babies experience amazing. The lessons are filled with lots of different fun activities each week and Jemma always has time to help and support everyone. She even makes less confident adults like myself feel comfortable in the water. My litttle one loves their lessons with Jemma each week and we wouldn’t swim with anyone else! Thank you Jemma for helping me and my little one enjoy this time together making memories each week.

Taking my grandson to Water Babies has been such a positive experience. Loraine is a fantastic teacher who makes you feel completely confident in the water with your little one. Henry smiles and laughs from start to finish, and it’s amazing to see how much more confident he becomes each week. I’d highly recommend it — it’s a lovely, welcoming group. The Sporting Lodge venue is great too, with a warm pool, clean facilities, and friendly, helpful staff.

The facilities and size of pool to the amount of children in the class at the oasis venue is not ok too small and too many kids per class. Never mind the dog ramp still being in place from when it was a K9 hydro pool making half the pool unusable and very distracting to the older children. Only keeping my child in the classes as I believe that swimming is an important skill for him to have at a young age age

Had our first underwater photoshoot last week and I didn’t know what to expect but it was fantastic, the teacher told us how it’s all going to happen, and if we felt like she didn’t want to go under we didn’t have to but it was like a mini class so my daughter enjoyed it like normal!

All the staff are fantastic and make you feel welcome but I really cant thank Nikki enough for the support in the lessons. You have been great with me and my daughter. Never in a million years would I have thought of taking my daughter swimming, im not confident in the water and seeing how much my daughter loves the water I did not want to take that away from her.
I really cannot thank you enough for everything, we both look forward to every lesson and you helped build my confidence in the pool.
Thank you so much !!

We attended water babies Tees Valley for.more than 2 years and during that time our experience was really.positive. the teachers seem to really care about the children in their class and make sure to adapt to the child's own abilities, while also.pushing them to improve. However, that experience has been overcast now that we've come to leave the scheme. Our little one is at the stage where she's ready to be in the pool on her own, rather than with a parent. This is something water babies don't offer so we've moved to a council run class that does. Unfortunately water babies are insisting on charging me almost £70 to cover a full terms worth of classes we won't be able to attend. That's despite me cancelling at the very beginning of August when there are NO classes that month anyways. They're forcing me to pay for an entire September term. That will be almost 9 weeks since I cancelled, which seems hugely excessive and greedy on their part. I'm saddened that this has spoilt our experience and would advise other parents to be aware and if you need to cancel do so BEFORE you actually stop going so that you're not being charged for nothing like I am.

Terrible service, also ended up paying for a month which I didn’t get the lessons for cause they are sly about cancelling if your away, wouldn’t recommend.

Water babies is fantastic! I have had my eldest son doing it from about 9 months old and started my youngest at 5 months old. My eldest has just graduated and finished his journey with them. The confidence he gained from water babies was great! He went through “water wobbles” and without water babies I don’t think he would have had the confidence in himself to keep going. His teachers were so good with him and found loads of ways to make him have fun so that he would no longer be scared. My 4 year old can now swim unaided and loves the water! My baby is still in his journey, he is now 1 year old and will kick his legs and do his best “tiger arms” in the water. We love the bonding time that water babies gives us too.

Started swim babies when my daughter turned 2 months and we both love it! Kim our instructor is fantastic and reassuring every week making us both confident and comfortable with being in and under the water!
