The design is not bad. In order to have it be counter-top there is only so much you can do. My main issue is the pre-selected water amounts. This one allows dispenses 4, 8, 16, or 32 ounces, which is a nice option but shouldn’t be the only options. Performance is not amazing but not bad either. I have had a few issues with mine in the 3 months I have owned it both with some leaking issues and at some point having to go through the flushing process you have to do initially which was large portion of my night one night when I could have been sleeping but was trouble shooting and re-flushing a brand new unit for unknown reasons. I guess if it worked better overall I could give it a better Quality score? Quality to me is materials, performance, and price all together and for this I’m somewhere in the 3-4 range. The water that does come out is fantastic. Everything I love about reverse osmosis water but with some minerals added back in which the rest of my family appreciates. Value is tough because generally I am just glad that someone offers a counter top version of reverse osmosis for people who rent or can’t install permanent installations, but even on a discount $300 is almost half of what we paid to have a much better 4-gallon installation at our last house which never ran out of water or had any problems the entire time we owned it.

This is a quality product that is a great answer for certain situations. For instance, I am currently renting a house while waiting for my home to sell. The owner provides unfiltered well water, and I wasn't comfortable drinking that, but I didn't want to offend my landlord (who lives across the street) by using a water delivery service, and I couldn't install a whole house RO, so this mini appliance meets my needs and fits nicely on the countertop. It is heavy and does have to be refilled frequently, but I consider that a small price to pay for safe and readily available drinking water, and it's a lot less work and inconvenience that hauling in water one gallon at a time. Best of all, no water in plastic bottles and jugs!

I wish it held more water in the tank. The pump also continues to run without shutoff when the tanks empty which cannot be good for the longevity of the machine.

I really like the Waterdrop system, it was really easy to set up. I have had other water systems in the past, I feel this one is the best, water tastes great, doesn't take a lot of counter space. Wish I would have found it sooner.

Convenient and works as intended. For 2 people in the house, it requires changing the water tank once a day. If more people are using it, then I think a more permanent solution should be better, such as the filters being attached directly to the water line.

We are a 2 person household and bought this to replace having to buy 5 gallon jugs from Costco every two weeks, so in the long run this is cost saving. I was skeptical because we used to have a brita filter and I always hated the taste of the water. With this one, I think the alkaline minerals makes a difference in the taste. It tastes just like the spring water from the water delivery we used to get. So the taste is very good. The only thing that’s annoying is not being able to fill the water tank all the way to the top because I am constantly having to pour new water in and dumping out the rest. I bought 2 64oz water pitchers to fill for our bedsides and filling both of those up meant having to change the water out 4-6 times. Also the spout is quite slow so filling water does take a while. At least they have volume amounts that means you can just leave your bottle sitting under the pour until it automatically stops. For one month, it’s been decent! I don’t regret buying it.

Enjoy my machine. Only takeaways are the frequency you need to refill the tank….every 1-2 days as it does not hold a lot of filtered water…..also a little heavy and cumbersome Also my nozzle where the water comes out is not a stream,,,,,,kinda slops all over the place. I don’t think it’s supposed to be that way. Sent 2 emails without a response which is disappointing. I’d strongly recommend others purchase the under counter model thats tapped into a feeder line.
