Why does the filtered water taste funny?
1) The filter is about to expire. Check the indicator reminder to confirm and replace it.
2) The system hasn't been used for a while. Turn on the RO faucet and allow it to flush for a while before drinking.
What will happen if I do not change my filter when the filter life indicator light turns red?
Over-used filters will degrade the filtration performance, causing contaminants to leak back into the water and adversely affect your health. It's recommended that you replace the filter if the filter life indicator light turns red.
Why is the filter life indicator light still red after I changed the filter?
You have not reset the filter life indicator. Please reset it: Press and hold the RO filter life indicator for 7 seconds, until the system beeps and the blue light stays on.

Eases my mind in avoiding toxins in my water. Assume it works well. Easy to replace filters - though long flush period, wasting a lot of water. Wish the used filters could be recycled rather than thrown in the garbage. Interesting that I live alone, but my filters apparently last as long as a family's. (I was told it's gallons used or time, whichever happens first. And mine have lasted short of 6, 12, and 24 months they are said to last.) Overall, though, pleased with the product.

I like how easy it is to change the filter. I like earning points but I think I lost some by clicking too many times. I already have a back up on the smaller filters but it says I’m going to lose points expiring you should have let me use on the large more expensive filter!! Its not right to let them expire and would have liked to use up all points vs spending so much up front!

It is a great product, should be engineered to re use though! It's a pretty big concern for landfills!!! I believe it could be better engineered for planet saving ability!

I bought this product because of the reputation it has. The best system in the market. IT saves space under the counter and the the water taste just like the bottled water.

I am happy with the ease of the product. I wish I could find filters for $5-10 less somewhere or a sale of some sort. I am concerned that as WaterDrop continues to improve the product they will purposely force my filtering system to become obsolete and force me to buy a newer system.

We have been using your products for years, and our biggest gripe is the high cost and the questionable manufacturing practices. We would like to see manufacturing move to the US, where health and safety are prioritized over profits.

The supplier must have changed because this filter was much better than the last one. The filtration rate is 6x better. I have had this unit for several years and was always satisfied with it until I used the previous filter. Glad to see you're back on track.
