Flawless Victory!
What can I say. Besides, perfect 10/10.
I was somewhat sceptical about choosing a 'new' (to me) tattoo studio. Did a bit of research online and this place showed up in virtually all top 5, top 10 reviews for Edinburgh and surrounding area. I had a look at their website and was sold! This looked like the place for me. I wasn't wrong.
Initially great communication after first contact via the website. Quick too. I made my appointment for the following week. (although I could even have made it sooner).
The studio is very easy to find and having tons of free parking within the middle of Edinburgh and only a short 5-10min walk is a bonus.
Studio itself is spotless. Looks extremely clean and tidy. Almost not your 'stereotypical' tattoo shop.
Everyone I spoke with was very friendly and inviting. Smiles and handshakes a-plenty. Making someone feel completely at-ease is the perfect start.
I, myself had a guest artist, Sergio from Portugal. He was the best. Can't recommend him enough. Hope I see him again and get him to do more.
Got a moth on my arm inspired by The Last of Us.
But I also would not have any issues having anyone at Watermelon Tattoo do a tattoo on me. Very relaxed atmosphere. Decent music playlist. Friendly small-talk. Just a great place to be!
It's a 5-star review from me and I felt so strongly I needed to not only leave them a highly positive review on Google, but go a step further and add them on Trustpilot also.
There's an abundance of talent and several highly skilled artists who have examples of their individual work on Watermelon's website. Something for everyone!
