I spent ages completing a Watermelon survey. At the end, I was thanked for my time but my reward was being directed to their website rather than getting any points

Awful, I have done a few questionnaires of theirs. Often long, tedious and repetitive and have a habit of on the last question or so after over the advised time of q'naire length it kicks you out. I suspect still using your data and answers but to avoid paying out. In general badly laid out, dull and user unfriendly - I have have found them a bad experience.

I did watermelon survey through Triaba twice and never get paid. Triaba is legit and i do survey for other sites through triaba and always get paid. But watermelon is scam. other surveys if reach their capacity will let you know at the beginning of the survey and disconnect you but watermelon let you continue to the end and complete the survey %100 and then it says sorry we reached our capacity and we should disconnect you from survey. in this way they have your opinion without paying you. so they are scam and thieves.

Barclays / Barclaycard do utilise Watermelon for customer surveys. Nothing to be alarmed about. It is GDPR compliant.

Received email survey request from Watermelonresearch.com on behalf of Barclaycard. When reviewing their GDPR information I noted both their listed contact numbers were dead lines. Checked with Market Research Society who had two further contact numbers which also turned out to be dead lines. They are now investigating Watermelon. I did not do the survey due to doubts about who Watermelon actually were.
