Avoid this company at all costs

Avoid this company at all costs. Their tests are not even eligible to be used for marketing. Hence their wording is "Removes up to 99% of etc" this is because they don't remove anything at any high level except chlorine. Worse than this the performance drops to nearly 0 real fast. They will not remove Fluoride either as they don't use an ion exchange resin which they lied about having (And have now changed on their website to "nano carbon) which has very poor efficacy. Do not trust these people.

Customer service is non existent

Customer service is non existent. Can't buy replacement filters for the jugs. They don't respond. Looking deeper into the website it's clear this company is smoke and mirrors. They aren't trustworthy and not looking for long term customers, just shifting stock with likely fake reviews.

Save yourself the headache and money

Save yourself the headache and money. I spent nearly $800 on the BIO 500 7 litre water filter. My biggest regret of a purchase in recent years. I wish there was a good quality water filter on the market but this is not it. Yes the body/bowl is made of glass but rest is flimsy and cheap plastic parts with ridiculous design. It needs a stand so that you could even get a glass under it for dispensing the water. But also the mineral pot sitting under the main filter is so large that you can only ever fill the bowl half way through - and then get a half of this water out through the dispenser. Rest gets stuck because the dispenser hole is too high, so you need to bring the whole thing to the edge of the countertop and tilt it, to get the water out. And if that’s not enough, it also leaks every now and then 😅 for this amount of money it could at least cool the water.. but no. Fair price for this product would be $120 NZD. I’m close to throwing this thing in the bin out of pure frustration.

Mmm I purchased the bio400 4 years ago…

Mmm I purchased the bio400 4 years ago and had a good experience, water tasted great and filters lasted specified time frames, but recently replaced filters and the quality of filtration not the same , I can still taste chemicals but don’t want to replace filters every 4 weeks it would work out ridiculously expensive. When I reach out I just talk to AI bots that tell me it’s impossible that the filter wouldn’t do its job . I used to like this company but something has changed and I know longer trust them or there service

Terrible Customer Service

Terrible Customer Service – Do Not Waste Your Time or Money

I don’t often leave reviews, but after my experience with Waters Co., I feel it’s necessary to warn others.

I was a loyal customer after purchasing a product from them years ago, but my recent experience has been nothing short of a disaster.

1. Faulty Product and Terrible Handling
The product I received was faulty right out of the box. While I understand that mistakes can happen, what matters is how a company responds. Waters Co. failed miserably in addressing the issue. The process dragged on for way too long, and I had to jump through hoops just to get a refund. If they'd acted quickly, this whole situation could have been resolved weeks ago.

2. Zero Accountability
I first reached out over a month ago about the faulty product, and yet no one at Waters Co. took responsibility for their mistake. I got contradictory information from different representatives and had to deal with vague, unhelpful responses. I shouldn’t have to chase a company down to get them to fix their mistakes. This is basic customer service.

3. Pointless Focus on Packaging
When I returned the product, suddenly the issue with the packaging became a problem. This wasn’t mentioned at all in previous communications, and it felt like a cheap excuse to keep dragging out an already painful process. Instead of nitpicking over packaging, Waters Co. should have focused on solving the actual issue: the faulty product.

4. Horrible Customer Support
Customer support was slow and completely unhelpful. Instead of offering any real solutions, I got dismissive and irrelevant responses. The lack of urgency or concern for my issue was incredibly frustrating.

5. Completely Dismissive Final Response
When I finally received my refund, the response I got was dismissive and cold. A simple “Thank you, have a nice day” after all the issues I dealt with felt incredibly insincere and disrespectful. It showed just how little Waters Co. cares about its customers once they’ve processed your payment.

Conclusion: Terrible Service, Bad Reputation
Waters Co. has completely lost my business. I won’t be coming back after this experience. What should have been a simple process turned into an absolute nightmare.

If you’re thinking about buying from them, I highly recommend you look elsewhere. Until they fix their customer service and improve how they handle issues, they’re only going to keep losing customers and ruining their reputation.

Customer Service Is None Existent.

When one thinks about customer service or customer centric service, one can normally recall when one has received excellent service, and will be a return customer of a company that gives good service.
Well i can honestly say, WatersCo is Not one of these companies. We were advised in February 24 that the filter we required for our $700 water filtration machine, is currently out of stock, but should be back in stock in a couple of weeks. Great, a couple of weeks.
Its now September and we still do not have a replacement main filter for our unit. We are now informed by WatersCo, this filter is no longer available to purchase as an individual item, even though it is still listed on their web site as such, but OOS. We have been asked to purchase the entire filter set, around $500NZ, which we have repeatedly stated, we do not need as our other filters are fairly new, and we still have some new filters left, so the wife tells me. But this is not good enough for WatersCo. Apparently we do not know how the filter system works etc and really should listen to the manufacturer. Of course we should, replace all our filters including the new one's with new one's.
All we wanted was the main filter as this has not been replaced. The main filter filters out all the chemicals and bad taste, but WatersCo insist we should purchase all the filters.
We feel as if this company which has always sold all the filters separately, and still does for the equivalent on other WatersCo products, has breached consumer laws in NZ, trying to justify its position by giving misleading and what we believe if misinformation.
Unethical is how we view this company and its stance. We now have a $700 filteration system that is worthless because WatersCo will not support its customers by supplying products they are advertising. 8 months to be informed the stock never arrived, but you can purchase the entire pack at $500.
Ethics and customer service are a thing of the past with some companies. It appears to be all about greed.
