Ordered a plant scheme for my small pond, online, and, in the comments box on the form, asked to be advised if what I'd ordered was unsuitable for the size of my pond. Received a very helpful phone call less than 20 minutes later to discuss my best options.
My plants (all potted up and ready to just drop into the pond) arrived within less than 48 hours, well packaged and with clear instructions for how deep to plant them. Although the plants were quite expensive, I was very impressed with the customer service and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Waterside Nursery.

Excellent service . Plants arrived promptly. I received informative e mails telling me when they would be delivered. My instructions were followed to the letter. I ordered 5 plants for my new container pond. They were packed well . Only the Marsh Marigold had a few bent stems but it is recovering. Together with the growth balls they are growing nicely. The information sheet in the box was also useful. Mostly pleased.

I was very impressed with the condition of the plants on arrival and having been in situ for a week they are now growing vigorously. I was impressed with the quick service that ensures that the plants are delivered quickly.

Really impressed. I ordered one of the pond planting schemes because I know very little and Caroline responded to my email about which size scheme I needed within 15mins. I ordered at 9pm, they were shipped by 6am and here with me by midday the day after, all packaged perfectly and in great condition ready to go in my new wildlife pond. Instructions were easy to follow. Excellent service and I would definitely use again, thank you.

Initially chose Waterside Nursery because the website was easy to use to find what I was looking for. The plants arrived quickly, they were very carefully packaged and were in great condition. I'll definitely use again for any aquatic plants.

Brilliant company to deal with easy transaction, I got a weeping red medium pot pond and it is well worth the money the paint is really nice and like I say it was one of the easiest purchases I got

I ordered some hornwort costing £5 with a cost of £6 pp so in total £11. I thought this very expensive for what I received. the plants were wrapped in newspaper and when I opened them, 6 earwigs came running out and there were tiny worms among the plants, you would think they would make sure the plants were clean and free of any insects before they sent them out, after all I paid enough pp. the plants themselves were of poor quality in my opinion, there were only about 2 strands of green stems the rest were black and crispy and very brittle, they look dead to me, I rang the company and they have reassured me that the black will turn green when the water is warmer . We shall see..

Placed order easily, price seemed average, delivery was efficient using APC overnight, kept advised every inch of the journey. On arrival found plants well wrapped in wet newspaper in a plastic bag. All plants have an excellent size root system and well worth the money! much better quality than my local aquatic centre. Happy to recommend .

Ordered oxygenators - plants never arrived. Informed Waterside Nursery who said they would send more. Again, never received.
Updated - now received.

Never try to return an item. Waterside is more concerned about its guarantee with a product provider than your rights under the Sale of Goods Act. Should an expensive watering can rust internally after less than 2 years, then it is your fault for storing water in it! After 2 visits and 40 minutes of haggling, I eventually received a credit note.

Outstanding experience with Waterside Nursery. Their website was basically my guide to how to build a pond - so much useful information and advice. Ordering the plants was easy and the delivery was quick, with everything so well packaged. Would highly recommend, especially for pond novices like me. Can't wait to see everything grow big and strong now.

I've read other reviews. I didn't buy plants, just baskets. The service I received was reasonably priced, promptly despatched and delivered and nicely packed. Speaking as I found, a thoroughly professional service

Ordered during pandemic and plants still arrived in 10 days time. The plants are very large and very healthy, all wrapped carefully to keep them wet. Service is great, too. If you fill in an email form to be notified when a particular plant becomes available, Waterside always gets in touch. Great company for pond plants.

Delivery good but quality of plants and customer service poor. I bought around £80 of plants. Some are fine but the water lily looks ill and the oxygenators look brown and still the same after a month in the pond. I reported this to them and just got a few excuses and then nothing. Lily was very small for £20 and came with blanket weed on it which I didn’t want to introduce to my new pond. The leaves look diseased. I have just had to order new oxygenators (from somewhere else!) as these ones are not growing. I have planted up a new pond before so am aware of what I am doing and this company in reality is disappointing considering their great website.

Pond plants bought from this Company were delivered promptly, and were packaged in damp newspaper, then polythene bags to retain the moisture, and all were then boxed for transport.
All the plants were healthy, growing, and undamaged.
Unlike some other companies, they were ready to put straight into the pond, being already in baskets with compost.
A definite 5 🌟 service.
