Publisher of the Year - I should be!

Waterside is an excellent publisher, attentive to the needs and interests of its contributors, and responsive to its customers. As both, I could not have wished for a better service. Congratulations to all concerned.

Your reply is a blatant lie and I refuse to be slandered when you didn’t do your job until month later. I claimed with PayPal after multiple attempts to contact you months ago and more recently and then only got a response once i filed the claim. You then told me that the author forgot about me and panned it off on him. So, keep your comments, they are worthless to me.

We are sorry that you did not receive your book, but we find your review harsh and misleading. In early December you opened a PayPal case claiming you had never placed the order. We were easily able to prove this false and PayPal found in our favour. Then over the New Year closure we received two emails from you chasing the order, nothing beforehand (we assumed you had already received it). Before we could reply, you opened a new PayPal claim (this time for an order not received). If you had done this initially - rather than claim you had never placed the order in the first place - the issue would have been resolved immediately. As per your request, we refunded your order via PayPal. Your order was for a signed personalised copy, a very popular order from our website. Something went wrong and the author did not send you your copy - this is the explanation, not shirking. We do not stock signed copies for this author - he signs them each time and personalises them as requested. We can only state the facts as we see them. Being humans we sometimes make mistakes, for which we can only apologise. We do wish you well.
