Total SCAM. Coat looked OK in photos. When it arrived, it's clear it's at least a size too small. It's 100% polyester inside and out, and the zipper pull is on the wrong side for a man. Ad promise... See more

SCAM

SCAM! Totally worthless. Ordered shoes that looked great online and showed up as the cheapest made product I have ever seen. Tried to return; but they offered a measly 30% refund to keep the item or I would have to ship the product to China for a full refund, which is not worth it. Do NOT buy anything from this store.

Not surprised they're out of business

Not at all surprised the company went out of business. Bought a clothing article from them, now a month later, and still haven't received it. A couple days ago, the tracking information came back as "not available" after initially showing up. Now, even the website is gone. Appears to be a total scam of a company.

I bought a winter jacket from Watson…

I bought a winter jacket from Watson and Jones. They identified their company as a New York city retail company that was going out of business. I waited three weeks and was provided shipping documentation that indicated the jacket is being shipped from China. At that point I realized I had been scammed by this company called Watson and Jones. The jacket finally arrived in size Medium/Large. I ordered a size 2XL. The size they sent me must have been designed for a child or small woman. Seller was not clear in the original advertisement and is in default. They refused to reimburse the full amount unless I return the jacket at my cost back to China. I refused to return it to China because the shipping cost is over $75.00 and not covered by Watson and Jones. Also, I'm sure I would never see a refund of any type. Or they will generously give you a 10% refund for the $150.00 jacket you can't use, and you are allowed to keep their trash as an irritating reminder of how they screwed you. My recommendation is don't buy from them since they are liars, unprofessional and scammers. I will be starting a dispute with the credit card company for the paid amount. If I could give this company a minus 4 star review it would still be to generous.

This is a total scam- waited 3 weeks…

This is a total scam- waited 3 weeks for a coat in size "Large" the sleeves are 3" short- I weigh 185lbs and couldn't fit in it
The "free returns" do not include shipping fees back to China
They also say sizes do not apply to returns if you didn't go by their own "Sizing Chart"
Stay away ! I have to find a short skinny friend or relative who can fit in it

I'm totally disappointed with this…

I'm totally disappointed with this company and my purchase. I ordered 2 jackets one was a mistake which I was told that I had to accept both or exchange one for another jacket,so I ended up with the two. After finally receiving them they were not what was pictured online. No size tag in neither jacket nor what type material they are made of.Absolutly the poorest quality that I've ever seen!! I never even tried them on because I ordered a 2X but I believe that they are a large. I wouldn't even was my vehicle with this junk! I don't believe they're going out of Business, so they claim. They never were in Business selling junk like this!! A total scam, and they are robbing people with there eyes open. They should be put behind bars and made to wear this junk they are robbing people with

I bought a jacket LIAM in size 3XL from an unknown Chinese company Watson and Jones NY (scam!!).

I bought a jacket LIAM in size 3XL. I was shipped in size small Large/Medium. Seller was in clear default. They refused to reimburse the full amount unless I return the jacket at my cost back to China which I refused. They were in default so they must carry the cost of the return. Moreover they pretended to be a shop in NY closing down and putting their goods for sale in NY. Then I noted that the jacket was shipped from China which I always try to avoid on basis of previous negative experience. My recommendation: don't buy from them since they are stubborn, unprofessional and a scam. I started a dispute with the credit card company for the paid amount and am waiting for their reaction.

Buyer beware!

The sizing of the sweater I purchased is poor, at best. I'm an XL in 90% of the tops I buy, but decided to buy an XXL from Watson and Jones. The sweater is so small it fits more like a tee-shirt.
To make the experience of buying from Watson and Jones even worse I am required to pay the $30+ shipping fee, back to China. The following is from their website, "All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, regardless of the reason for return. This includes cases where the product is defective, damaged, or incorrect. Please note that international return costs to our warehouse in China typically start from $30+."

Don't be fooled. They are FAKE products!

After years of shopping on line without any issues… I fell for this FAKE AD! Please don’t waste your time and money. Review other review (I wish I did more digging-in before ordering).

This seller is intentionally misleading. They claim to be a large New York retail store “going out of business,” but no such retail store exists. The website appears to be a generic template designed to create false legitimacy.

The product received was extremely poor quality and looked nothing like the advertised images. Sizing was wildly inaccurate and made the item completely unwearable.

This is a bait-and-switch operation selling low-grade goods under false pretenses.

If I can find a way to upload pics, I will.

WATSON and JONES is a SCAM

The size is WAY too small. I don't think they are based on American sizes. I ordered one size too large and it is STILL too small. Also, they represent themselves as a New York company, but their operations are based in China. I've asked for a return and they say it will be on my dime and cost at least $30-$40 to return to China. DO NOT BE FOOLED like I was.

Ad promised ability to return, but their return policy is you can only return for defects and then only if you send photo evidence within 24 hours of delivery. Also not valid reason for return: The return is based on subjective dissatisfaction (e.g., colour, texture, or material not as expected).

I ordered a leather jacket that was too small

I ordered a leather jacket . When it arrived it was too small. I contacted customer service to initiate returning the jacket. I then get multiple emails trying to convince me to take a 20% discount and keep a jacket that doesn’t fit. When I reiterated that It Does NOT fit, the then tried to bully me into keeping it by saying I had to return it to China, it would be very expensive, it must be packed to carry Maureen damage( they shipped to me in a plastic bag), and even then I may not get a refund. I alerted my credit card company who is issuing an alert.
I am waiting for a return label From Watson and Jones.

Buyer Beware

Company gives the impression of a high-end men's sportswear going out of business. Jacket arrived and was so small I couldn't put it on and did not appear to be filled with down as advertised. There were no labels attached to clothing indicating size, material content, etc. I contacted them and was given the option of a 10% refund or returning the item to some location in Hong Kong which would cost over $40. This company is a total ripoff.

Scam

Both garments I ordered in Men's large arrived as woman's small.
They structure their return policy in such a way that the customer is forced to pick the option giving a 10% refund.
So they make 90% by sending you junk.
