Disappointing experience.
Arranged a day trip for my sister and 3 other family members as first time for my sister, so looking forward to it, paid £130 for us to get picked up at Kilcreggan Pier for 1.35pm, so we waited and waited and eventually at 1.50pm it was seen on the horizon, but it didn't dock at Kilcreggan and continued up heading for Loch Long, about 60 people all waiting and seeing this as well, I called company to explain and very nice lady said she would radio Captain, about 10 mins later it started to reverse back obviously been told they over shot their mark, how can that possibility happen. Anyway eventually got on and all ok as your started but at one point ladies toilets only one on board got blocked up and were closed, so staff opened disabled but they were blocked, so not good as I suffer from incontinence, so no toilets and lost over 1/2 HR of trip because of captain and his detour for £130.00, I love the Waverley but very disappointed with services provided , not sure I would go back on though, shame.
Great cruise from Tighnabruaich
Great cruise from Tighnabruaich last night.Busy and good atmosphere. Excellent idea to have,an evening event during holiday time.Love to do it again ,but needs to be earlier in the summer season, as the light was really fading on return.Keep these ideas coming.
Disappointed!!
Beautifully looked after boat, was excited to be going on her but was disappointed.
Only one person serving at the bar, there could have been two even with Covid restrictions. Lots of people not wearing masks moving about, they should have been told but were not, and certainly no social distancing. It’s very difficult to social distance on the boat but I think there were too many people on board at this time. The stench in the ladies toilets was dreadful, not acceptable in this day and age. I was there at the weekend, it’s just a booze cruise, won’t be back.

We went to Tighnabruaich on Saturday 7th August and had a great time. The staff and the sail was second to none. Weather was good until coming home just past Helensburgh when the skies opened. Prices on board are pretty decent. Would definatley recommend a trip

Bought 4 tickets for a trip that the company cancelled. Requested my money back but they ignored my requests and put obstacles in my way of getting MY money back. It took 3 years to get my £180 back after I raised a claim in the courts.

As no one has made a good or bad review let me say this, back in 2014 l had brought tickets for a night sailing, couldn't go on this one so phoned and wanted my money back, apparently they only give credit note or a new date, choose a new date however this was cancelled due to a rough sailing and the voice recording said that if you had a booking on that date then you would get a full refund, however several emails to the customer services and hiding behind the terms and conditions do not get your money back , a one star also on facebook , of course you could say that l have it in for the company however it doesn't matter how many years have passed.
