Been year's since i looked into joining but you had a class in south wimbledon has this now gone?. I've had some year's off fitness trainkng due to a car crash. And my background longer. I'm hugely grateful to Sifu Ludwig and the South Norwood tech team for their openness, humour and deep expertise during my WIng Chun journey so far. The year 2025 was one of significant illness for me. Starting Wing Chun in November 2025, I have appreciated the discipline and philosophy of this martial art as I have recovered and returned to full fitness. Russell and Steve recently came into our school as part of our Careers Week. From the beginning they were phenomenal. They ran sessions with various classes throughout the day - teaching them the basics but also educating them on the skills needed to be successful in their role. Both remained so professional throughout too. We cannot thank them both for taking time out of their day to inspire some of our children. They had the best time!

An excellent spot for martial arts enthusiasts, offering a warm and supportive environment. For anyone considering starting their Kung Fu journey, this school is highly recommended. I’ve been learning wing Chung with this club for a couple of months and I’m thoroughly enjoying it, it’s great for fitness, strength, and coordination and enjoyable to learn, Sifu is great at teaching and breaking down the moves , give you great self confidence 👍🏻

Sifu Stuart is an excellent instructor. He takes time to explain all the moves and techniques. He is enthusiastic and makes the sessions enjoyable. I feel fortunate to have him as an instructor.

I joined the class about a year ago and I really love it. It’s a really relaxed and supportive group to learn in. I’ve done quite a few different martial arts over the years and Wing Chun is very different and interesting. Sifu Russell Benham is an amazing teacher. His knowledgeable and skills are just exceptional.
I've been training with sifu Russell for 13 years and I wouldn't train under anyone else. The classes are structured and it's like a big family.

Top level tuition from a teacher that really knows his craft. I've trained with Russell since around 2016 and honestly can't fault his knowledge and expertise in Wing Chun. If you're looking for a place to learn Wing Chun in a friendly, fun, hardworking environment, then this club is the place to start!

I have trained with Russell and also used his expertise in martial arts seminars in Northern Ireland. I have found him to be nothing but professional, courteous and a leader in his field. The classes are welcoming and friendly, every session you leave feeling energised and like you have progressed.

Excellent, my daughter absolutely loves coming. It’s a great atmosphere, with fully qualified Sifu’s that give the children a fun experience whilst learning at the same time. The club has brought my daughter lots of confidence too. Would recommend to anyone.

If you're thinking about taking your first steps into Kung Fu, I couldn't recommend this school more. The instructors are patient, supportive, and explain techniques in a clear, easy-to-understand way. As you advance theres a heavy emphasis on technical aspects of Wing Chun that keep the sessions interesting. All around if you're reading this review and on the fence about going to a class you shouldn't hesitate!

Really laid back atmosphere which takes the stress out of taking the first step. Knowledgable teachers who explain the theories behind all the principles. If you put in the work, they are more than happy to impart their knowledge with nothing held back. Highly recommend
