Running MOT with WeRun
Staff at WeRun were helpful in getting an MOT organised and the coach provided some helpful information prior to the session. Although the session itself wasn't entirely what I expected from the description, it was a useful coaching session and gave me some tips regarding running drills, warm up activities and running form. The coach was very friendly and positive and I felt encouraged throughout and his expertise was invaluable. Thanks!

The best decision I could of made
I am so glad that I chose Nicola to coach me for my 1st marathon, I am not sure I would have done it without her help as I felt well trained, rested and prepared on the day. I really needed the accountability that the app and Nicola’s feedback gave me. The training was completely personal to my goals and schedule meaning I only missed one session due to biblical weather. Half Marathon Training Plan
I cannot recommend We Run enough! I recently completed the Royal Parks Half Marathon 2024, for which I signed up to run earlier this year, and from my initial enquiry up until race day, the entire process was extremely efficient.
I was paired with Coach Lee Wilkinson and from the outset, he was incredibly helpful! By virtue of his unwavering mentorship, I was able to achieve my goal of completing my first ever half marathon in under 2 hours.
Throughout the entire training process, Coach Lee was ready and willing to answer any question I had and he supported me through every injury and mental block I encountered - I would have never been able to do any of this without him!
Training for Abingdon marathon
Kate was a great support to help me train for a marathon. I've done a few marathons before but I learnt lots from Kate's advice and encouragement. Her training plan ended up being very different to what I would have followed from a generic plan. Thanks Kate!
Marathon Training Plan
Alexa wrote a personalised marathon training plan for me which covered all the things that were important to me, building in time out when I was on holiday, and making sure I could fit everything into my schedule.
The training was challenging but having this programme allowed me to get everything in the diary and feel organised and strong and ready for race day.

I've been experiencing some pain while…
I've been experiencing some pain while running for the past couple of years, so I knew it was time to have my running form evaluated. After reaching out, I was pleasantly surprised when Polly contacted me within 48 hours and managed to schedule my running MOT for the following week at a convenient location.
I was quite nervous about the meeting and uncertain of what to expect, but Polly's friendly demeanor immediately put me at ease. It was clear that she was both knowledgeable and passionate about running. During our session, we discussed my typical running routine, and she provided valuable tips for improving my warm-up and cool-down practices.
Polly quickly identified areas where my form could be improved and pinpointed the likely causes of my pain. With some practice during our session, I began to feel more comfortable in my stride.
Thanks to Polly, my confidence in running has significantly increased. It was reassuring to hear both the positives and areas for improvement. I can't thank you enough, Polly!

As an amatuer, I had been running for some time and completed several half marathon races in the 1h30min territory. But I decided to ask for Graeme's help for my first marathon. His wealthy knowledge and expertise took my performance to the next level. Also, he has been caring for me as a person, adjusting frequently the training to suit my body response (both physical and psychological) and life schedule.
The only "even better if" I have is that I wish I met Graeme sooner, when I started my amateur running career.

I have found the We Run experience to be excellent from start to finish. Booking and paying for sessions via the We Run portal was very simple and from then I was redirected to interacting directly with my coach, Angela MacAusland.
Angela has been superb from day one. I cannot speak highly enough of her and how much she has helped me with my running. We have addressed some issues with my running form with simple tweaks that have had a very positive impact on my running experience. She is mindful of underlying injuries I have and always has very useful tips for just about every aspect of running. Moreover she has been very accommodating with re-scheduling our sessions whenever there has been an issue.
I would be happy to recommend We-Run and Coach Angela to anyone looking to improve their running. FIVE STARS!

Perfect and just what I needed!
Having given up on running for a bit, I was just after a little bit of guidance for a race that I'd signed up for. The plan was perfect and just what I needed. Having had a phone call to discuss what I'd been doing, so that the plan was catered to me and my abilities rather than being a generic 'one size fits all' kind of plan. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a one off plan or coaching!

I worked with Coach Lee for close to 2 years. His coaching has been instrumental in helping me achieve my running goals. I made great progress in my running performance and at times I was surprised at my own growth. All thanks to Coach Lee.
Coach Lee made me do the workouts just at the right intensity - neither too intense that I would burn out or injure myself (and give up) and nor too easy that I would feel I am not being pushed. And he did so effortlessly. His expert advice on running strategy - pacing, hydration nutrition, the mental aspect was on point and helped me do my best in every race I ran. Apart from his running expertise, he is a great storyteller and a patient listener which makes him a great running companion in the training sessions :)
He organises social drinks with his other clients which is a great opportunity to connect with like -minded people!
Had it been not been for my departure from the country I am sure I would have continued to train with Coach Lee for a long time to come. I wish him the best and cannot recommend him highly to runners of all ability and goals.

My coach, Neil was both very knowledgeable and approachable. We explored the importance of warm-ups, reviewed my form and implemented simple drills to tweak form efficiency. The sessions were sometimes tough but I came away each time more motivated to improve. I will seriously consider using coaching when I commence my next block of marathon training.
