Poor Ethics and unprofessional.
I went through the first talk discussing all I earnt, owned etc, and they set up a zoom meeting for 2 weeks later to speak with strategist. I did not wish to discuss my financials at work, so I took time off Monday, only to find out late Sunday that my calendar said CANCELLED. No reason why, no email, no phone call or message. I replied asking why and all they said was, they apologise but that they decided I was not an appropriate fit. You had two weeks to decide this, and do me the curtesy of calling me prior not just cancel the invite. Very disrespectful and unprofessional. I believe I dodged a bullet with this attitude... I would be very careful working with this company, as if they have poo ethics and if they do not want to help, they just drop you.

Wealth hub has been a wealth of experience.
Wealth hub has been a wealth of knowledge in relation to getting our SMSF up and running, I would encourage the use of their services and have trust in the process. Setting up a SMSF is complicated from my point of view and having the support from the entire wealth hub team has been invaluable. The ongoing support to manage the fund and take care of the payments and tax returns is a huge weight lifted off my shoulders, while I can have an understanding of what is occurring with the process is fine but the logistics of making the fund compliant and effective is so important and to have this the hands of wealth hub is refreshing.

Prompt response to my complaint
Waste of time. Responded to an online ad. Received advice I would be contact in the next 2 days. Received calls 2 weeks later and then was told that they couldn't do anything for me, no reason given.
Updated 19/10/22 Received call from Company Director apologising for the way in which the initial call was handling, stating that it was a new staff member and seeking feedback for training purposes. They still were able to offer assistance at this time, but advised me of the reasons why. I was very pleasantly surprised by the action they took to improve my experience with their company, hence my amendment to my original review.

I continued to work with Chris and the team at Wealth Hub and have been very impressed with his professional approach and timely response to my queries. My interaction with Wealth Hub was outstanding thanks to Chris and his team.
Poor due diligence, dangerous business model
I responded to an online ad about paying off my home sooner and building wealth. I then got hit up with a generic sales process which didn't consider my needs or concerns at all. Nor did that process explicitly address how I could pay off my own home sooner.
I think this company relies on its clients being ill-informed about major financial decisions and the current economic climate. They were pressing me to buy land and build a house to rent (at a shocking return) at a time when builders are going bust and construction materials are increasing in price. My concerns were not acknowledged and when I asked for some more detailed information in a follow-up, it never transpired.
These guys may know how to sell financial solutions but I feel they do not have their clients' best interest in mind - at all.
Avoid at all costs.

Need to listen to their clients!
I saw an ad on Facebook relating to using tax breaks to pay off a mortgage early. It intrigued me so I downloaded their eBook. I subsequently received a text advising I would be called within a couple of days to follow up. When the call arrived I was asked what prompted me to download the book and asking me for some personal financial details.
I provided some general figures, explained where my interest lay and agreed to allow someone to come out and explain to me further.
When the advisor arrived he began to explain a wide range of services the company could offer, that would be provided by multiple visits. This ranged from budgeting, income protection, investment strategies etc. I explained I did not want to partake in a full financial review. I was specifically interested in the content of the advertisement to pay less tax and pay off our mortgage earlier than planned and would like to focus our attention on that. I want to understand a bit more about the company and what they are offering before I start handing over lots of personal information.
The consultant became flustered and a little abrupt as I was not allowing him to go through his full sales process. He said he could not offer advice without the personal information to know could be done across the "four pillars" as they all linked.
I reiterated that I didnt want to look at all aspects of their service, and asked that he could focus on my area of interest. Having finally agreed to an area we were prepared to explore, he presented a $249 fee request. He wouldn't give us any information whatsoever. I told him I wouldn't pay any fee - regardless of amount- until he could provide me with a general overview of how he felt he could help. I was told that was IP and he couldnt divulge anything until payment was made. This confounded me as he hadnt presented any information whatsoever about the company, their pedigree, or success yet he wanted me to provide detailed personal information and pay a "nominal fee" for advice that many other customers had no problem paying! No information to explain how his company is different from any of the thousands of financial services companies out there to instil confidence or belief they could deliver any value. He told us we could find more about the company on the internet!
Eventually, he handed a business card over and said to get in touch if we decided to move forward. Bit of a waste of time for both of us I would say!
My feedback to the company would be you need to be prepared to give a bit information if you expect potential clients to do the same. Try to give you clients what they want, not what you want to sell. If they ask for advice, then go for it. But if there is a specific purpose to the meeting, start there. You may eventually win other business when a relationship is built and trust established.
Aside from overzealous fact-finding efforts and lack of benefits offered, he was a nice guy and not rude even though he was clearly frustrated. I think they just need to listen more to their clients and be adaptable in their approach to accomodate this.
Appreciate Wealth Hub reaching out after providing my feedback, acknowledging the feedback and seeking to amend and improve their client service
