Back to normal?

There have been a lot of payment issues for the past few months. However, I still had hope and finally, today I received all of those payments I had been waiting for !
I have continued to use this app and will continue to do so in the future.

Failed project - owed money for months

I have payments due from months ago. If they can't cover debts then maybe they should call it quits on sharing revenue and just be a regular social media app. At the moment they are just one big lie.

reasonable

worth it, really. i sometimes watch the videos which is not overly hyper like tiktok. people also need to understand where the money goes to, because they get a large share of the money for themselves to keep themselves going. theres little chance that they will go bust like a few others said.

on the internet it says that:

40% of revenue goes to the weare8 company itself.
50% goes to users of the platform.
5% goes to climate solutions.
5% goes to charities.

it’s a good concept and there should be little to worry about. if there’s much less ads in months then it’s good enough to me.

Dissapointing is an understatement

Dissapointing is an understatement now. Waiting 9 months for money. Takes far longer than 48hrs to get a reply from an email and normally you don't get a reply unless you chase countless times and when you do it just says thank you supporting them and they don't know how long it will take.

Non payment, ignored emails.

Still awaiting replies to emails regarding outstanding payments dating back 8 months. Have just one question. Would like to know that when I received notifications from YOU, that Cadbury, HMRC, McDonalds, Giff Gaff etc had in your own words "sent me a payment"am I right in assuming that YOU received that payment on my behalf. If so, then why have you not forwarded that to me. I have read you are having financial difficulties as Advertisers are behind on payments but according to my notifications you have received these payments??? Something isnt right here.

Just received payment today 2nd May of all that was outstanding which I appreciate with a note that if I felt I didnt fit in with their experience that maybe I should step back for a few months !!!!!

Absolutely amazing app

I’ve been using WeAre8 for a while now, and I have to say it’s one of the most refreshing and genuinely rewarding apps I’ve come across. The whole concept of getting paid to watch short videos is brilliant—simple, engaging, and actually worth your time. It feels like a fair exchange, and it’s great to see a platform doing something different from the usual social media model.

What really stands out for me, though, is the integrity of the company. There was a period where they experienced some cash flow issues, which understandably caused delays in payments. However, what impressed me most is that they still honoured every single payment owed. Even if it took a few months (in my case around six), they made sure every penny was paid. That level of honesty and commitment is rare, especially in apps like this.

On top of that, their customer service has been excellent throughout. They’ve always been responsive, transparent, and reassuring during any queries I’ve had, particularly during that difficult period. You really get the sense that they care about their users and want to do right by them.

Overall, WeAre8 is a fantastic idea backed by a trustworthy team. If you’re looking for an easy way to earn a bit extra while watching content, this is definitely worth trying.

I’m beginning to think this is a scam

I’m beginning to think this is a scam. I made a withdrawal of over £200, and 6 months later I still haven’t been paid. If this is what’s happening to my money, it makes me question if the charities are actually receiving anything either. I’d rather WeAre8 just be honest if I’m not going to receive my payment.

Did start out ok until last year

Did start out ok until last year. I’m Still waiting on payments from August last year. After numerous emails Been promised next day payment that was over a month ago still nothing and no longer responding to my emails. I would not recommend and would say avoid.

Been waiting for payment since 2025…

Been waiting for payment since 2025 contacted the customer service team via email and response is we are working on it. Recently sent a message on instagram and commented on post and in return they blocked me. That is ridiculous this has become a scam! Don’t waste your time doing the ads they are making money but wont pay us.

After a few months I finally received my cash.We are 8 staff was very professional and explained all reasons for delays. Don't loose your hope you will get paid.Thank you We are 8 team!!!Great experience!!!

Stopped paying out users

Used to be great but no payout in over 4 months. Stopped wasting my time on watching the new videos until payout is received, I suggest you do the same. It’s a shame because it was so good going back a few year ago.
