My Marmion experience:

I originally applied for a role directly with a Nottingham based company/employer via indeed.com. Despite feeling confident with my application, a few days later I received the disappointing news I hadn't been selected for interview.

Over the week that followed I applied for a similar role, again with a Nottingham based company/advertised on indeed.com, only this time c/o Marmion Recruitment. I promptly received a phone call from Sophie and subsequently Alice who were both very thorough and supportive in expressing my suitability for the role and I was delighted to have them put forward my application.

Following further comms with Alice, unbeknown to me at the time of my application with Marmion, it transpired the role I had applied for was infact the SAME role I had applied for (and been turned down for) a week earlier. I should point out that at this stage Alice remained 100% committed to my application and, as she knew the recruiting company well, steadfast in her belief that I was ideal for the role!

"Leave it with me, let me do a bit of digging" were Alice's words.

Anyway, the long and short of it is; Alice convinced the employer to rethink and she got me an interview! After that went well, followed by further success at a subsequent 2nd interview w/presentation... I got the job!!!

Moral of the story... don't give up! Believe in the powers of Marmion Recruitment, Alice and Sophie are SO helpful and they will literally go 'above & beyond' for you. Their commitment, helpfulness and support is absolutely unfaltering and I cannot thank them enough!

I was working with a recruiter named Julian who was very calm and reassuring, he went above and beyond in order to prepare me for my interview.

He even offered his own time outside of work to run me through a mock interview.

I worked with a recruiter named Julian, he was very helpful and knowledgeable of the employer and helped answer my complex questions.

He even helped to touch up my CV before the employer saw it and added notes on why my experience was relevant to the role.

On top of that, the day before the interview he called me to have a mock interview on the phone, go over my sales pitch and prepare me for potential questions the employer may ask.

Overall it was a very professional, clear and friendly experience.

Would definitely recommend Marmion and in particular Julian.

The people who helped at Marmion were so dedicated, worked a very quick turn around in helping me secure the erfect job for me. I had a very useful initial call plus they were quite happy to text out of hours and keep me fully updated.
I would use them again but I think they have found the ideal job for me!

Alice and the team at Marmion are amazing (especially Matt and Sophie). Throughout my application process, they were with me every step of the way and always made time for me to voice any anxieties etc. They are very responsive and communicative and they really care about you and finding you the right fit. They are far more hands-on and friendly than any other recruitment company I have previously worked with. I would really recommend using Marmion when looking for your next job. The recruiters went above and beyond to help and reassure me every step of the way. Thank you Alice, Sophie and Janet!!

Brilliant! The recruitment team at Marmion (specifically Sophie and Alice) were absolutely amazing when interacting with me as a potential candidate. They really took the time to understand me - my skills, interests, job requirements and personality. They were very quick in responding to my emails and messages, so I was always kept in the loop regarding my application. Once they agreed I was a good fit for the company, they passed on my CV and details. Within a couple of days I was contacted by the manager at the company, who turned out to be very nice too! They helped prep me for my zoom interview and face-to-face interview, so I never felt like I did not know what was going on. I have had experience with other recruitment companies who were nowhere as good as Marmion, I would have to chase up for information or updates and wasted a lot of time trying to get in contact with them. I can honestly say Marmion are not like this!

I had a great experience with Marmion, they got in touch with me swiftly after I formally sent an application and they then provided great support and insight into the role I applied for! unfortunately some personal issues came up so I was unable to attend the arranged interview for the role that i applied for but i was kindly advised to get back in touch with Marimion when i had capacity to return to job searching which i then did . I was fully supported into applying for a different role which i was more eagerly interested in than the previous role i applied for! I successfully received a job offer and would like to thank Jonny for suggesting the role and specifically Matt for arranging / corresponding with the employer on my behalf as well as support on negotiating salary which was a great help!! Alice and the Marmion team could not have provided a better recruitment experience. Having really poor experiences with recruiters in the past, Alice helped me get to the final stages of interviews. Despite taking an offer for a different position, I still want to praise Marmion for restoring my faith in recruiters.
