I purchased a Hydro machine from Pure Skin and it has been a complete nightmare from start to finish. The machine arrived faulty, and despite repeated promises from the company owner, Jayne, nothing was ever properly repaired or replaced. Communication was extremely poor and the business has since gone into liquidation — leaving me with a non-working machine and ongoing finance payments.

I’ve since learned that Jayne is now attempting to set up again under a new name, so please be very cautious. This company has caused serious financial and emotional stress to many clinics like mine.

If you’re a clinic owner, avoid this company completely – do your research and don’t make the same mistake.

AVOID buying any machines from this company, they are made in china, they constantly break down and no support to get the machine fixed, the suction on my PureHydro has been broken numerous times, the dial to turn suction up or down, falls of the machine all the time, now i have no suction at all, i have been calling the customer service for 3 months now to get it fixed, they never get back and the engineer, just blanks all my messages.
They have took themselves off Google business because they know they will get swamped with negative google reviews!

My PureHydro machine has been broken for three months now, and despite my repeated attempts to contact them for a repair, I have not received any response or acknowledgment of my issue. This lack of communication and support is completely unacceptable, especially given the significant investment made for a machine that doesn't work and the reliance on it for client services.
I have had to cancel all my clients for months, having a detrimental effect on my business and losing me thousands in revenue!

Do not invest in any of their equipment, you will regret it!

Extremely Poor Service, Unreliable Support, and Ongoing Business Disruption

I leased a PureHydro machine from PureSkin International for my clinic, and I’ve had a deeply disappointing experience. Within the first few months, the machine developed serious faults—the suction stopped working and the handpiece failed entirely. This made it unusable for patient treatments.

I submitted a formal complaint on 30th May, and despite numerous follow-ups, I received no proper resolution. After weeks of delays, PureSkin confirmed an engineer visit for Friday 27th June. I stayed available all day, but the engineer never arrived, never contacted me, and has still not replied to messages or calls.

PureSkin’s response to this has been unacceptable:
• No replacement machine provided
• No engineer follow-up
• No formal complaint response despite repeated requests
• Ongoing disruption to my clinic and lost income due to cancelled appointments

I’ve now had to escalate the issue to Admiral Leasing, Advice Direct Scotland, and will be seeking further action. I’ve tried to resolve things professionally and reasonably, but the lack of responsibility or urgency from PureSkin has left me with no other choice.

I would strongly encourage other clinic owners to be cautious before entering into any agreement with this company. My experience has been one of broken promises, failed appointments, and silence when it mattered most.

I bought a PureHydro & PureDerma machine in 2022. These machines are NOT worth the money or hassle. I have had nothing but problems with them. The pureHydro machine is constantly breaking particularly the hydro peel part. My machine broke again in January and 3 months later I am still waiting for the engineer to come and fix it! They are just ignoring my messages/emails!

On top of this essentials consumables needed to perform treatments are frequently sold out and not available for long periods of time.

Over priced machines that have faults and Co always say it’s down to misuse and not covered under warranty. Substandard machines - DONT BUY FROM THIS CO

I’ve had the machines 2 years and the peel never worked properly on hydro, every time the engineer came out it was left with a fault so lost confidence in engineer and company

Do not bother with this company unless you like to be ignored, have money taken from you, promised things you never receive.
One of the most unprofessional brands I have ever come across. Save your money and go somewhere else

Stay away from this company, they are scammers! I bought a package including Pure Hydro, light therapy and Skin Analyser in July 2024 and paid in full. It’s now January 2025 and I still haven’t received my skin Analyser. They have promised to organise delivery but nothing has come of it, they have now stopped responding to my messages. I had to order some products from them last week and even an item off that order was missing. They are bad news!!! It’s my biggest mistake ever!!
