I worked with Web Tronomy a year ago

I worked with Web Tronomy a year ago. They helped me build a website for my Tutoring business. In the beginning, it was great communication. We agreed to set prices, and I was pleased with what they were showing me, but as the project continued, there were many delays on their part and continuous upsells being thrown at me. I was pleased with the website they created, but they held control of the website hostage until I wrote a favorable review for them on Thumbtack. A year later the website no longer exists, though I paid for five-year hosting and control of the website name for five years. Apparently that was a scam and their number is no longer in service. I no longer have access to the website that I paid thousands of dollars for. This company is a scam. Don’t use them.

I had a very disappointing experience with Webtronomy. After paying for services, money was taken but the agreed-upon hosting and support were not properly delivered. More recently, I discovered that my website is completely down, and it appears they are no longer hosting it as expected.

Communication and transparency were extremely lacking throughout the process, leaving me without clear answers or resolution. Losing both access to my website and the funds I invested has been incredibly frustrating and disruptive.

Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering their services to thoroughly verify what is being provided and ensure there are clear protections in place before making payment

This is a scam company

Title: Paid $21,000, and communication stopped
Beware!

I had a feeling something was up when I received a basket of wine and a bunch of goodies from Chris Jordan. Red flag!

I hired WebTronomy to help me with my website and paid them $21,000 for their services. Initially, communication was responsive and professional, and I was given explicit assurances about what would be done.

After payment was made, communication gradually slowed and then stopped altogether. I have not heard from them for over a month, despite sending multiple emails requesting updates, answers, or any explanation.

The promised work has not been completed, and I have received no response, no resolution, and no refund. This situation has caused me significant stress and financial concern.

I am posting this review to share my experience and to urge others to be highly cautious before sending money.

Initially last year in March 2025

Initially last year in March 2025, I signed on with Webtronomy for designing and setting up an e-commerce website for me to honor my son andcdad, and it SEEMED like a reputable company until I begin the process with a man name Daniel who I gsve $600 for the website, then as it proceeded, he left then they assigned another man, Ken Parker who asked for $1000;for hosting before projected completed, then it was handed over to another Jordan ( hecwas horrible) project, and it was one person after another, finally The last person Mr. Dias helped it come to fruition but I found it would be a continuing of fees asking for to update it, etc NEVER TRULY controlling it outside their services. It been a Complete NIGHTMARE with losing $1600 and disregard to my Word Press website. STAY AWAY unless you want to be exploited for excess fees.

Webtronomy Failed to Deliver

Webtronomy Failed to Deliver, Failed to Refund, and Stopped Communicating

I’m posting this because Webtronomy — specifically Reynold Dias and Chris Jordan — has not delivered what we paid for and has not refunded us.

We paid Webtronomy in full on June 18, 2025 for a WordPress ecommerce website.
More than 131 days later, we still have no website, no refund, and no proof that a refund was ever issued, despite their repeated promises.

Here’s what happened

Reynold and Chris missed multiple deadlines and gave us contradictory updates for months.

We were even mistaken for another client on several occasions — which says everything about how disorganized this project was.

After repeated delays, we formally requested a refund.

Reynold and Chris then told us that they would process the refund only after we removed our honest reviews.

We removed them in good faith.

After that, communication dropped off almost immediately.

For weeks, they kept saying the refund was “in process,” yet no refund ever appeared.

We asked several times for a simple transaction confirmation — something any legitimate business can provide instantly.

They never sent one.

Bottom line

Reynold Dias and Chris Jordan took full payment, delivered nothing, asked us to take down our reviews, and then disappeared without issuing the refund they promised.

If you’re considering Webtronomy: don’t make the same mistake we did.

Happy with the final outcome!

It took a little time and effort to clearly communicate our needs, but once we got on the same page, everything went smoothly. The 3-hour time difference was a challenge, but Reynold was responsive, pleasant to work with, and quick to reply to my texts. We're happy with the final website updates, and he did an excellent job redesigning our logo.
