I was quoted significantly more over…
I was quoted significantly more over the phone about 1300. The process took nearly 3 hours for the agent to tell me the vehicle was worth $100. He did bump the offer to $500 which was a little under what I was seeking however I felt that we had been there so long that we accepted reluctantly. It seemed that the process of having to communicate with someone to get a value authorized is a slow system as that’s what the agent kept complaining about. I am in the car business myself and most appraisals for us a on a we buy car take about 15-20 minutes at most. I wasn’t as upset about the offer as much as the sheer magnitude of time it took to process the transaction which in my opinion should be an hour or less. In totality it took about 4 hours from start to finish and we were the only customers there.

Our leadership team monitors appointments and on average they should be completed in about 1 hour. Your experience sounds well outside the norm and we’re eager to investigate to better understand exactly what caused our process to run three hours over schedule.
We take detailed notes, photos, and videos of every vehicle we inspect. Our leadership team reviewed the appointment to understand why the price changed. We saw that you called in and gave us some limited information about the vehicle prior to bringing it over. When we were able to see the 2004 Chrysler several issues were noted that are above and beyond what is considered normal wear and tear. Most important were the multiple dashboard lights that were illuminated including the airbag/srs light, ABS light, and the check engine light. Once these issues were discovered it negatively impacted what we could pay for the vehicle.

Big Company, Down-to-Earth Experience
Excellent service. The process was quick and I received a great price for my car. James was kind and fun to talk to while I waited for the process to be done with.
