That's too long and we wanted to make it right as we know your time is valuable. We would have been happy to honor your online valuation estimate but I see from the information you provided online on 12/2/2023 at 7:15 PM the Lexus was disclosed as having no physical or mechanical issues. Like all buyers, we carry out checks on the car before we make an offer and there were items of damage that were not disclosed online. We provide tools on the website for you to tell us about any mechanical or cosmetic issues and recommend every customer use these tools to avoid any surprises at the branch. We always carry out a professional appraisal and any undisclosed damage will reduce the final offer.
Despite some issues with the Lexus I'm pleased we were able to cut you a check which was close to the online estimate with some small adjustments for the vehicle's overall condition and are sorry that our appraisal of the Lexus was misinterpreted as anything but a professional, transparent, and fair appraisal of the vehicle and its age, mileage and condition.
I hope we can reconnect and find a way to address your concerns but thank you sincerely, in any case, for choosing to sell to us.
