The initial phone call should communicate the price range, rather than a single price. I was initially told $515 over the phone and I completely expected that offer to be lowered once my car was “inspected” on site; however, I was shocked when my actual offer was $101. Ultimately we settled on $300, which was the same price I would have received if I took this car to the scrap yard. If I was i initially told over the phone that the range was $100-$515, I would have just taken the car to the scrap yard and saved everyone’s time.

The We Buy Any Car representative (Melanie) who came to my home was friendly, easy to talk to, and was very professional. The ease of the experience was also a reason why I my rating is high.

My appointment was pushed back twice and no one called to explain. When I arrived the inspector said online estimate did not factor in some minor issues and the final offer dropped a hundred dollars. Communication was poor and I had to chase down payment. Not terrible if you are in a hurry but frustrating if you need a smooth transaction

Everything from start to finish. We were lied to about the lowest price we would get for our car as well as the highest price that they would start at and work their way backwards during inspecting the vehicle. They told us that they would not go below their lowest price though since our car was drivable. Then they did a no show not once but twice. If you call this company make sure you record your conversations with them for your own protection so you have proof to fall back on when they want to cheat you out of the money they originally quoted you. If you are smart you will just go with any other company.

There was no pressure on selling our car, the gentleman was very professional and explained everything in detail. After he looked our car over and took it for a short test drive to check it out, he enter all the information in the computer and in a short time was given a price offer. It was lower than we wanted and we made a counter offer on what we decided was the amount we wanted if we sold the car before we came in. He agreed to our offer which was way more than what the car dealer was offering for a trade when we bought our new car. In a short time we were handed a check for the amount we wanted.
