Lack of genuine community
I have been a client in we-care for quite some time since April. It is now around November and I have not seen any improvement in their services. My main issues as well as others have been a lack of communication which puts both clients and support workers at risk of being kept in the dark regarding simple matters. Not good at treating both clients and staff members with genuine respect and care. I also have concerns regarding how many times people have to repeat themselves to high management yet things do not get done or their suggestions get rejected and pushed to the side. As a client I have noticed just how rude and mean they are towards my support workers and I have found this behaviour quite disgusting and goes against all mortals. When it comes to unfair situations that take place that put both support workers and clients at risk they appear to be empathetic but won’t keep to their words regarding people’s concerns and suggestions that are brought to them. They treat both support workers and clients like case numbers. When my support workers and myself have been mistreated we have noticed that there is nothing that has been changed for a positive. Mind you I have been a client since April so nothing has changed in the way they take accountability for their decisions and mistakes. They don’t take accountability for their mistakes and when they say they will improve they do not which puts everyone at risk again. When you speak up against them or say your concerns you are bullied and disregarded like trash. I am writing this review as I want to let other people know that this company is NOT good at all. And if you do work or be a client at this company you’re situation will not improve and you will have high hopes which will be destroyed as a result of their constant belittling and abuse of power. This place will make you feel like you are NOT human and that you are an animal for display in a zoo due to the mistreatment, discrimination, and cruelty to both clients and support workers by being involved in this place.
