A Beautiful Wedding at Lady of the Rock – Thank You, Wed Awai and Marta! ❤️

We honestly couldn’t have wished for a more perfect wedding company or planner for our special day. We got married at Lady of the Rock in Porches, Portugal, and the location was absolutely stunning. I cried with joy when I first visited, and it was everything we had dreamed of.

Our wedding planner, Marta, was with us every step of the way, which was incredibly helpful when planning a wedding abroad. She helped us organise stylists, cars, wedding decorations, contacts for reception venues, drinks, food, music, flowers and so much more. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and her support made the whole experience feel so much easier and more enjoyable.

Thanks to Wed Awai and Marta, our wedding day was absolutely perfect. Every detail came together beautifully, and we created memories that will last a lifetime.

Our guests are still talking about the day, and everyone said it was the best wedding they had ever attended. That means so much to us and is a true reflection of how special everything was.

A huge thank you to Marta and the entire Wed Awai team for your kindness, care, organisation and attention to detail. You helped make our wedding dreams come true, and we are incredibly grateful for everything you did.

From the very beginning, Ausra was absolutely amazing. She was always available, incredibly supportive, calm, professional, and made us feel like everything was taken care of. No matter what question or request we had, she was there — and that gave us so much peace throughout the entire planning process and especially on our wedding day.

We chose to have a completely vegan and non-alcoholic wedding, and everything was implemented beautifully. Nothing felt like a compromise — quite the opposite.

The Land of Eternal Love itself is simply magical. The location, the atmosphere, the attention to detail — it was even more beautiful than we had imagined.

And the food was incredible. Our guests were absolutely amazed by the vegan menu, and it showed how special plant-based food can be when it is prepared with creativity and love.

Looking back, there is honestly nothing we would have changed. It was exactly the wedding we had dreamed of — and a huge part of that is thanks to Ausra and the entire team at Land of Eternal Love.

I want to warn all brides from using this company/Martina. As you can see, I initially started feeling very positive about my experience however, I should have waited until the entire experience was fulfilled before making a review. After signing the contract with this company, it was very apparent off the bat that we had gotten scammed. The first incident started when we were told to book the venue from Monday to Friday to secure a lower rate however, after signing the contract, we found out the venue has a flat rate and that couldn’t be far from the truth. This seemed to us, perhaps an innocent mistake at the time, but after further investigation, it was a ploy to have assigned the contract considering there was no weekends available. We continue to work with this company A four-day venue hire per our money conversations for those traveling and wants to stay a little bit longer. After signatures and two months out before the wedding, we were told by the venue that the accommodations were only hired for three days and not four this was a huge discrepancy by Martina, causing a huge financial burden for us to find accommodations for all our guests for one day, considering everybody has already booked and ready to attend the wedding. After mentioning this to Martina, we were told that there was nothing that she could do and offered €500 as compensation, as you can imagine this was a huge insult, considering the financial loss of €24,000. Unfortunately, it doesn’t end there the planing & catering company that she partnered with was not only the most inadequate and inexperienced company to deal with any foreign couples. Although might seem cheap at first, there is literally nothing included in their services, but the bear skeleton minimum which will lead you to spend a tremendous amount to get to a standard that’s acceptable for a wedding. But of course, that doesn’t end there because said Company also tried to scam us by trying to give us the final catering bill two days before the actual event started despite us, begging, completing for us to understand where we stood with them financially. Upon receiving said bill, we easily realized there was an additional €15,000 that was added to our final bill with no understanding of where this number came from. After bringing this up to Martina yet again, she completely ignored our distress and told us to contact our wedding Insurance for the solution. Because of her our wedding almost tripled and cost, and we are still trying to figure out how to solve this issue by pressing charges. We had tried several times to contact her to solve this amicably, but she has refused to even acknowledge us at this point. Please be warned. This company is a scam.

Martina has been wonderful! From the moment we inquired, to booking our wedding date, she was prompt in answering our questions and really helped us from a distance. Being from Canada and trying to plan a wedding abroad isn't easy, but Martina helped connect us with planners in Portugal which helped make the experience a great one.

Martina has been incredibly helpful with sourcing a venue for our dream wedding. We knew we wanted to get married abroad but were so overwhelmed with how many venues were out there with no clear indications on what they could offer or would cost.
