Hi Stephen,

I am sorry to hear that you are not happy with our service. After your application we ran credit checks on you, with your permission, and sadly they did not allow us to proceed with the no deposit option. To try to help you and give you an option to have a van with us without paying a deposit upfront, we put together a solution to finance a £1000 deposit contribution over 12 months with a 3rd party lender (at no cost to yourself). Unfortunately, you also failed in that 3rd party Application process and we were unable to offer you a van.

We always try to provide proactive solutions to help people get the vans they need rather than saying ‘computer says no’ but in your case we exhausted all options.

I am not sure if you would have preferred that we simply said no initially rather than trying something that could have helped you out.

Insurance is never included in our product offering (but soon we will have options to do this) so the “comprehensive was always going to be on you.

Frankly, I am not sure we deserve the 1 Star rating here given that we went above and beyond to try to help you out.

DriveSimple have been fantastic

So far DriveSimple have been fantastic, I was at my wits end with trying to organise some vans for my small business, however Ben Sharples has gone above and beyond to source what I need. He assessed our business on an individual basis and was happy to answer any questions I had. I am grateful to DriveSimple for their quick service and looking forward to receiving the vans in the coming days.

This company trying to scam me in…

This company trying to scam me in paying them £5000 after I gave back the van in excellent condition only owing one months rental ,good luck getting that scammers .

This appears to be your second review since your contract was terminated early by you. We have asked you to identify yourself but you have chosen not to do so.

We can only presume that you are the customer who ended their agreement early and refused to pay the outstanding 2 months rental (£1339). You had agreed to a one-year initial term and were given a brand new van. When you ended this early we applied the charges laid out in our simple 3 page agreement (£1,560).

We added an extremely reasonable £150 for Damage from 2 scratches, £150 for the collection of the vehicle and £80 for the direct cost of a parking ticket where we waived all the admin fees. You refused to pay for any part of these and we have now enforced this in the small claims court.

Your own review confirms that you were happy to refuse to pay for even the month outstanding that you admit was owing. So the only scammer here is you.

Both of your reviews are baseless where no £50 Admin fees were charged to you and only £150 was charged for damage ever. The rest is a legitimate debt that you owe.

We have been open at all stages to a reasonable settlement. If you are prepared to admit that these facts are accurate and that you will pay your bills and our costs to enforce these, we are happy to waive all of the early termination fees.

Couldn’t recommend high enough Ben and the team.Van was delivered very quickly and as promised - absolutely brand new .Very efficient and clear communication through the whole
process .

Perfect Customer Service and Fast Delivery

Today the van was delivered to me, just a day after my application was approved. That's so quick and efficient. I definitely recommend DriveSimple to everyone who is thinking about hiring a van. They have a great and high quality customer service.

What a great company

What a great company! Excellent customer service, easy to order a vehicle online, clearly laid out and easy to understand costs which comes to one simple monthly payment, saving me time and stress. Keep up the good work DriveSimple.

I would highly recommend DriveSimple

I would highly recommend DriveSimple. The simple process to order a vehicle online and easy to understand pricing (I had been looking for a simple monthly all inclusive price structure for a while and repeatedly frustrated by other companies over complicating it all) made it vey straightforward. And of course the team were delightful and very helpful. Overall all a good experience.
