Beware Scam AirPods
Bought apple airpods
Be very careful of these edited reviews popping up to move all the bad ones down the page.
these airpods broke within a couple of months. contacted the seller via email and was asked to provide my number, provided my phone number and never had another reply from them.
I contacted Apple and they confirm the airpods were actually registered to a previous device back in 2022. (my purchase date was in aug 2023) and apple detected unauthorised repairs on the device.
The company is violating Mutiple Australian laws by
1. selling second-hand devices as new
2. not honouring a return
3. not honoring the standard 1 year warranty for consumer goods.
and last but not least the hygiene issues posed by reselling secondhand ear buds (re sealed) is just gross and a public health problem.
Disgusting practice from start to finish. Report them to the NSW office of fair trading and get them shut down.
Looking forward to a response from “Jo”, “John” or “Dan” but based on the blatant astroturfing going on here I’m not holding my breath. Very doubtful they would dare reply to a review they didn’t write themselves.
Keen to publicly share the evidence whenever you guys are ready :)
Edit for Jo: 03/02/2024 order 1401
Stop lying. You absolutely have all the information about my purchase. You also have all the emails from the office of fair trading. Just stop with the lies.
“John” from weekly sales has been in contact with Kristine from the office of fair trading about this matter for more than three weeks now. As soon as she requested a full refund on my behalf John stopped answering emails. Just as he did with me asking for a replacement before Apple confirmed they are dodgy AirPods.
Your reply here is a complete lie you might want to check your emails for the order number above and from fair trading and review the evidence relating to my serial number before copy and pasting this ridiculous response publicly.
Simply posting the same support email address that your team refuses to reply on is not enough. WeeklySales is not rendering goods, they are not rendering services for warranty and your website is selling refurbished (secondhand) devices that go into the ears of people who have not been made aware of that fact at time of purchase. It’s utterly misleading business practice and the office of fair trading agree.
Weeklysales has my email, my order number, my phone number and serial information. Stop with the deception and delay tactics. I want my money back, now.
Literally all you guys need to do is reply to ANY of the emails you’ve been sent over the last several WEEKS and say “yep sorry our bad processing your refund now”
Jo, as a gesture of good will I’ve resent the complete email thread with John. You should have an email with the entire thread I had with John in your support inbox now. There’s still time to edit your reply.
Let’s resolve this now before it escalates to small claims court.
I absolutely despise businesses registered in Australia who take advantage of people like this.

Fake AirPods - don't waste your time/money
*UPDATED JAN'24*
Dan from WeeklySales reached out and has refunded my order.
*ORIGINAL REVIEW*
Bought a paid of the new AirPods from the site and they worked for around a month or two, then stopped connecting (similar story in other reviews). I went to the Apple store and was told that the serial number is a duplicate and they're a fake product.
I reached out to WeeklySales support and sent across the Apple diagnosis/documentation, and WeeklySales seemed willing to help at the start. They sent me a return postage label, I sent the product back, and now over a month later they're still ignoring my emails and support tickets - I'm without AirPods, and I've wasted a lot of time.
I'll be moving to speaking with Fair Trade, but don't waste your time with this company - just buy the official products, or through a reputable business.
Beware Fake Airpods. Cheap make and broke easily
I saw these online and decided to give them a try. I bought my first pair back in August and found that they had come with a crack in the case. I had earlier generation airpods bought from Apple and they seemed to be a sturdy product. I had dropped the earpieces a number of time and they had always bounced with no problem. I had purchased the nose canceling versions from Weekly sales and they had dropped out of my ear a number of times. They split open but I was able to clip them back together, though I was concerned these were not the same build quality.
I started to suspect they were fake but contacted the company and asked for a replacement. It took a number of emails and phone calls but they eventually replaced them.
The new pair and I was reasonably satisfied. The worked pretty well, but occasionally one would fall out of my ear as happens. They split in half and at first I was able to clip it back together. However, I began really to believe these were fake as these had never happened with the previous generation airpods. One fell out of my ear again and this time I was unable to put it back together.
I contacted Weekly specials and sent them photos. I had given them a good go twice, but it was apparent these were not the genuine article. I asked to return them and get my money back as I only had this second pair less than a month. After many messages and calls, I was told to send them back. I have them returned now for over 2 months and no response. I would like my money back and these guys are ghosting me.
Dan, you should be ashamed of yourself. We spoke and you seemed reasonable on the phone (only after I posted a 1 star review initially, which I agreed to reset to 4 stars after receiving my replacement), but now I am truly upset and want you to stand by your product and refund me my money.
Beware folks, these guys are scammers. They are good fakes, but fakes none the less.
DO NOT BUY!!!!
Criminal
Returned a fake product to the sender and did not receive my money back after demanding it several times,
This is clearly a criminal company guilty of theft and fraud.
Not a legit business and suspect they sell refurbished products
Everytime when I asked for a tax invoice with business details on it,they didn't reply. They advertised as hassle free return policy, however every time i asked for a return label, they didn't reply. Something must be wrong with this business. I truely doubt if this business is legit. Honestly if they can't provide me with a tax invoice, i am going report them. And I am definitely going to return, they claim to sell geniue Apple AirPods. I believe it could be genuine BUT it may be Refurbished after reading the review.
Refurbished apple product's warranty date starts earlier than the actual activation date. Additionally, refurbished products are easy to break. From reading the previous reviews from this site, I highly doubt if it is a refurbished apple airpod. They don’t advertise as brand new AirPods from their website. Usually someone says if an apple product is broken, they will ship you a new one. Most likely it is a refurbished item. Refurbished items can only be verified if it is fully uninstalled and checked the parts from the inside. That’s probably why this weekly sales website is so confident that their products are genuine and it is why their selling price is under market retail price as refurbished products are genuinely apple products and consumers can’t verify refurbished by themselves. If a consumer opens and activates the item, it will show that it is a genuine apple product. I have to say They are very good at marketing and selling with their amazing return policy. But they unfortunately overpromise and underdeliver. So far I haven’t received a damn return label after asking for at least 5 times now via different channels.
I have owned apple products for more than 10 years. I started to purchase since the first iPod touch, then iPod then iPhone, AirPods. These are my thoughts for this business and for the ‘amazingly’ low price airpods.

Lack of customer service however issue was resolved
I received faulty airpods from Weeklysales and sent them back requesting a refund back on the 21st of September. I have had no response to a lot of my emails however they have resolved the issue now and are working towards providing better service in the future. Dan who called me was very apologetic and resolved the issue on the spot. Going forward they will have an immediate refund ability which will resolve issues very quickly if working properly

Be careful
Ordered some Air Pod Pros, waited almost 2 months for them to arrive even with express shipping, when I got them one of them was broken so I was told to send them back and I never got another pair and support doesn’t reply to my emails anymore
Edit: After writing this review I was called my some guy from weekly sales and he told me he apologized for me waiting months. He told me he would sort everything and I’d get a new pair sent to me asap. Fast forward to today 15 days since I wrote the review I get a pair of AirPods in the mail except they aren’t new. They are used with missing accessories and slight damage to the case… not what I paid for. I have emailed asking for a refund so will update here again once I hear back.
Edit: I was contacted by Dan from weekly sales about getting a replacement sent out and that they have changed their support. Since he messaged me I got a new pair almost immediately which ended up being alright but I did not appreciate him harassing me to delete/ change my review to 5 stars. He came contacted me everyday and even called me twice, he then tried to argue with me about my experience with them. The whole process took about 5.5 months and I’m so glad I don’t have to deal with them anymore

Bad experience turned positive
I ordered AirPods Pro Gen2 with express shipping.
The item arrived on time but fell apart when changing ear tips.
It took a while to sort out the return slip and then again to receive a full refund three months after I bought them.
Slow to no response to emails, but once I posted a review, someone contacted me and processed a refund immediately.
I wish i had looked up these real…
I wish i had looked up these real reviews first before purchasing on weeklysales.com.au. On their website, their reviews look pretty legit. They also offer a credible looking return policy with a customer service email and number based in queensland. however, like many other reviewers here, i purchased some apple airpod pro gen 2. When I changed the ear tips, they broke apart. I went to apple and they confirmed they were fake. I contacted customer service via email and phone and no reply (this was a week ago). The merchant name on my credit card statement states a suspicious name rather than weekly sales. I have since contacted my credit card company hoping I can get a refund this way. So disappointing that vendors like this operate this way. BUYER BEWARE avoid these people at all costs
UPDATE: the merchant has since contacted me asking me to send the fake product back. I sent it back to the address they gave and it was returned to me as an invalid address! It just kept getting worse dealing with them. Then Dan kept harassing me on text message (and not answering my phone calls). He finally gave me another address to ship the product back to which I did after he refunded me the postage cost (after much back and forth). When I sent him a photo of my product being returned, he kept promising my refund then adds that he will only refund me when I remove this review. This guy is unbelievable. I told him how unethical his request was and that I’d be willing to update my review, which is what I’m doing now. I have records of all our text messages and plan to report him to my credit card company to investigate further. He has been holding my refund and continually texting me, as of now I’ve blocked him. All from a stupid purchase I made in Oct to seemingly save a few bucks :( goes to show that sometimes it’s worth paying to get peace of mind that your product and customer service will be professional.
Scammers…
Product took ages to turn up and then was faulty and possibly fake. Many emails to get a return happening and I am still waiting after over a month to hear back regarding a refund. I have contacted PayPal and put in a complaint so hopefully will get my money back. Now I have received a suspect text message asking if I have the latest IOS on my phone. So dodgy. Do not buy from these low life organisations

FAKE SCAMMER VENDOR WATCH +OUT
FAKE SCAMMER VENDOR
Firstly “Joanna” promised to cancel and refund (it was taking forever, clearly not in stock).
Then never refunded and eventually goods arrived. Upon checking with APPLE, AirPods are in fact fake.
No refund, zero communication (occasional email that actually fails to refund money or provide postage label to return). Rip off merchants. UPDATE: PAYPAL REFUNDED MONEY PER DISPUTE CASE (AVOID THIS SELLER LIKE THE PLAGUE>

This company is sneaky and untrustworthy
This company is sneaky and untrustworthy. I placed an order for AirPods which were never sent. After the AirPods should have arrived, I emailed to request the tracking number but they didn’t have one. Only at this point, they posted the item. The AirPods arrived poorly packaged and the box was damaged. As this was meant to be a gift, I requested a refund. Weekly Sales then ceased communication. After I opened a case with PayPal and wrote a review on Trust Pilot, they finally reached out to honour their ‘free returns’ policy. Their system was apparently down so I was required to pay for the return shipping. They offered to refund me if I sent proof of the item being posted. I posted the package with proof, the refund was not actioned and communication stopped again. I updated the PayPal claim with what had happened and Weekly Sales yet again finally reached out, blaming PayPal for the delay. They sent the refund and requested I give a 5 star review because they believed they had gone ‘above and beyond’. There was an incentive offered which I declined as this had been a terrible experience. Looking back at the other 5 star reviews (which I was genuinely baffled with) makes sense now. To top it all off, I have now received notice that the refund was cancelled and communication has stopped yet again.
08/08/23 - Edit to add
Dan, you only reached out ‘several times’ after I posted this review. Prior to that, you did not care to respond during the multiple times I reached out. Please do not lie and claim this review is ‘misleading and false’, I am more than happy to share our conversation history. Your ‘gesture of goodwill’ was mutually beneficial as I offered to remove my (first) negative review only after I received a refund. Yes, I agree reviews are a vital part of the community, which is why I would like others to be aware of the sneaky and untrustworthy promises of refunds, cancelling them, then blaming PayPal (which they have confirmed the error was entirely on your part). I also value reviews which are not bias and based on the bribes you offer. I’m genuinely unsure what you are referring to when stating you are glad it was sorted out in 1-2 days. This has been a lengthy, ongoing issue which has exceeded 20 days with third party escalation required. Please stop contacting me via SMS as you had every opportunity to do so prior to this review.
22/08/23 - Edit to add
Please STOP calling, emailing and messaging me. I have already changed my review for you once, not because I agreed with it, it was to stop you from harassing me. I have blocked all three of your phone numbers, email addresses and I am tired of you asking for this honest review to be changed. Do NOT contact me again.
