Don't use - electronically backwards

Seems like a one person company. I'm exchanging emails directly with Chief Medical Officer Underwriter.

Their communication consists of sending you html files attached to emails that you have to download and open and then you get a PDF that looks like someone took with their phone.

And that's when they onboard you. God help me when I file a claim.

This company is definitely a scam

This company is definitely a scam. Must be run from a basement. The website is despicable, the processing claim time is over 6 months. The staff and employees are rude and disrespectful. If you want your insurance experience to be worse than Hell, choose wellaway.

Worst expat insurance

Worst expat insurance. Very long claim processing time, customer support is poor. I have been with them for 3 years (too long) and always told myself to leave. This time, I'm done. Bis repetita: poor customer support, unreachable, expensive insurance (+12% from 2019 to 2020 for my subscription!). When you pay 7000$ per year/person, you expect a reactive and quality support.
Coverage is equivalent to other expat insurances. Not worth the price.

Will go with April or could give a try with blue cross shield.

Any other suggestion is welcomed.
